Food was amazing! A very cozy feel to the restaurant that plays Spanish ballads. Their chef has experience from previous years at The Adolphus, The Four Seasons, and private cooking. The starter bread is to die for and baked in-house! So many vegan/vegetarian options too. We ordered the filet mignon and beef roulade (stuffed rib eye). 10/10 experience on food! So tender and full of flavor. Definitely recommend for the whole family.

I ordered delivery and every dish was beyond incredibly delicious. Try the ceviche and the shrimp scampi - best in town. If you eat in the restaurant, bring your own bottle of wine. Lots of vegan vegetarian dishes for those of you who dont want their wonderful meat and seafood dishes. Cant believe we have this quality of food in Garland!

I am vegan, and I approve! What an excellent meal. For starters, I ate hummus and fresh warm pita chips. For lunch, I had the Calabacitas Rellenas, and it was well seasoned and cooked to perfection. For dessert, Cinnamon Apple with vegan ice cream was flavourful. I even had the green juice that was delicious (I took one to go). Everything was absolutely delicious ! I will be back, and Im bringing friends and family!

This restaurant is so charming! The food is some of the best fresh food I ve had in the Dallas area. In fact, I would have to say that they have the best quesadillas I ve ever had at any restaurant. There was something about them that was elevated beyond what I usually get from a quesadilla, so I quite enjoyed that. I also had their pan seared salmon, which was cooked very well as it was quite moist and flavorful. I highly recommend this place, I was pleasantly surprised by the food!

Why this place isnt packed when we go is beyond me. By far the best, cleanest and most delicious food Ive eaten in a long time. There is not one item Ive tried that I did not love from this place. Nothing is greasy, over seasoned, or not presented beautifully, as shown in the photos. This is definitely in my top 5 favorites when it comes to eating out. The cook is an absolute delight, always very nice, sweet, and attentive. The music played here gives you such a relaxed vibe as well. There is seriously nothing I dont love about this place.

This place has replaced our usually go to America style restaurant. First off their wait staff is extremely friendly and well versed in the menu. The chef will typically come out at dinner to greet guests which is always a good sign. Ive been here roughly a dozen times so have established favorites and not-so favorites. The shrimp scampi is hands down my favorite dish. The peppered NY strip is a close second. To be honest, the Italian style dishes arent my favorites. The flavor is not as robust as their other options. The homemade bread with the dinner meals is a perfect addition. Finally tried a few lunch options and worth a visit. For the price of their lunch sandwiches, I would suggest them over a super sized combo meal in a drive thru. Overall a great spot for dinner or lunch

My husband and I were traveling through this area and I specifically picked Alondras Cuisine for the many vegetarian/vegan choices that were on the menu. It was the middle of the day, a little after lunchtime, and we were the only people in the restaurant. The chef, whom I am assuming is the owner took our order and spent time with us talking about the menu. He seemed very proud of the food and he has every right to be. It was delicious. We split the avocado club with fries and took a chocolate cake to go. The chocolate cake is to die for!!! We will definitely be back in a couple of weeks when we make our twice monthly trip to WinCo across the street.

Great food, great prices and great for conversation! If you love local, you must try Alondras. The menu is small but varied. The portions are very generous. I had the Caprese Salad - fresh basil, mozzarella and tomato with pesto and balsamic vinegar - and it was better here than at some steak houses that Ive been to. The desserts are also fantastic. The Fruit Tart was delicate and all desserts are made in-house. This would be a good stop for dessert and coffee if you dont want a full meal. My bill with the salad and dessert was under $20. Parking is available immediately outside the front door, but be aware that the few steps from the parking lot to the front door can be steep. Had reservations for 7:30 Valentin Day evening. Had several other tables to be seated and thier order taken but the waitress never returned to take our order after 15-20 minutes. First time here, but I have a niece named Alondra so I gave it a chance. We were a bit thrown by the Italian and Mexican food, but the waiter made us feel right at home. She recommended the lemon basil chicken, which sounded really good. We all tried something different. I had the ribeye steak with the twice baked potato and veggies. The twice baked potato was not only delicious it was like dipping a crispy French fry into mashed potatoes. And a Mexican coke. They have a large vegetarian section.

Alondras will one day be a big name vegan spot in Dallas proper(its only in Garland right now). It is fantastic. The food is incredibly flavorful. Im not vegan at all(just had Fogo de Chao), but I tried a vegan dish per the recommendation of my friends(the calabacitas rellenas) and it was so delicious. I forgot that I was only eating veggies. I hope that they can get their name out there more because they are deserving of all of the praise they get!

I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. While some restaurants are opened for the money, this one was clearly opened for the food. The chef thoughtfully, immaculately curated the menu to include a lovely variety of dishes. The selection is not too large and not too small. It is just right. I have tried multiple dishes and they are all delicious. The freshly baked bread is so good. Every ingredient is super fresh!! The dishes are a feast for the eyes as they are for the belly. The service is phenomenal and the atmosphere is just what you want to have conversations with your loved ones. This is a great place to dine with your family, your friends and a romantic date. My fiancée and I thought our recent meal at Alondra s was one of the best we ve had in a long time. The egg rolls were great, and our entrees, lasagna and basil chicken in cream sauce, were some of the best fusion Italian food we ve ever eaten. Dessert was equally impressive - the chocolate cake was very rich, both its texture and flavor had it unlike any other chocolate cake I ve ever tried. It was nice speaking with the chef, too; you can tell he takes a lot of pride in what he serves. We ll definitely be back, and we ve got no other reason to visit Garland

I absolutely adore this place and intentionally bring everyone I can to try it. I found it for my wonderfully picky in laws from LA (who raved about it) and have yet to find anyone to have a bad bite. The food comes out looking good enough to need to put on Insta if youre into that. The only thing I dont adore is the gospel music, but thats a cute quirk that is also endearing. A group of six adults with varying diets thoroughly enjoyed our meals at Alondra s. The appetizers, entrees and desserts we ordered were all delicious, and the freshly made bread received high praise from all of us!! The ingredients were clearly high quality and the plating was lovely. The menu had such a great mix of options. I had the tacos de nopalitos and was super impressed. Definitely racist against Blacks. I didn t want to assume but saw the previous reviews. And if you have kids, just don t go here. From the moment we walked in, it immediately felt like we weren t welcomed. We were greeted by a scream from the other side of the restaurant just 4?!! and rushed to place our drink order after a long speech about the menu without any immediate recommendations. As our table was left without a word for the duration of our meal by our server, I had to get up and ask for assistance and when I did, it was assumed I wanted the check when I wanted to place a dessert order. When my dessert came out, it was wrapped in a to-go box basically telling us to get out. And that was confirmed by the chef rushing over to me yelling in front of the entire restaurant to sit my kids down because of other guests even though all other guests were smiling and playing with my kids. So I just paid for our meal and left, and we definitely won t be back. It s true that the food is fresh BUT my husband refuses to use public restrooms and had to use theirs immediately after his meal - my 4yo son then complained of stomach pain on the ride home - and when we settled in at home afterwards, I felt a digestion pain I havent felt since going vegan 8 years ago so Im not totally sure our food was handled ethically. And yes, we were also the only Black family in the restaurant.

Been seeing this restaurant every time going up and down Northwest hwy for a good while and became curious about it. I then pulled up this place on Google maps, and with an impressive rating, I proceeded to read the great reviews and look at the great photos that immediately made me hungry! And this restaurant has been on our bucket list to try one of these days. Finally, Sunday 7/02, the time has come to try this restaurant and we were astonished. All ingredients they use are fresh and the plates are made to perfection. The visual presentation of these plates, as well as the taste, is certainly above average and has the 5star quality appearance that looks like dishes served in restaurants in the uptown, highland park and NorthPark areas of Dallas. Yet, here in Garland, and Mesquite, and other surrounding cities in Dallas county you are bound to find restaurants in hole-in-the-wall shopping suites that can really surprise you. Most local restaurants prepare their dishes with simplicity, but maintain the important part; the taste. But this place is beyond exceptional! Me and my family will definitely come back!

This place is a hidden gem. My parents were celebrating 50 years of marriage and needed a venue at last minute. Accommodating us he opened up the restaurant on Saturday, which is usually closed. He provide us a wonderful limited menu and service. Eight additional guest showed up unexpectedly and the chef handled the surprise flawlessly. 4.8 stars is no joke, which is what compelled me without seeing the menu. I got the Chipotle grilled chicken. Well flavored and tender. The veggies were on a bed of blended rice; carrots, zucchini, yellow squash, and asparagus, each of which was cooked to perfection, which is a talent all by itself. Bread was fresh, warm, served with real butter and so good. I also got a nice tortilla soup, I assume vegan and that is just fine. I will return to try the vegetarian wonders. I even got a fresh squeezed orange juice to go. Since I am writing without leaving my seat, I had to try it. Fantastic. This chef clearly knows how to pick their produce. Was sad to see that it was empty because the food was on point!! It was seasoned PERFECTLY Not too salty or bland. Highly recommend the tortilla soup and the angel hair pasta. Sooo flavorful! Our first time here. Nice, quiet restaurant, more of a Cafe setting. I had the Asada beef bowl and my wife had the anchio chilli chicken. Wish we had taken pics before devouring the food. Nice size portions, plenty of flavor and nothing felt heavy when done. Desert my wife had the tiramisu and I had the apple cinnamon fritter. Prices are based on the quality of food, so slightly higher then avg, but worth the extra coin.

We were in the area and actively sought out the best-reviewed dining options. Alondra s Cuisine did not disappoint! Brightly lit and clean, modern dining room. The food was a surprise, better than we expected! We had the Chicken Marsala and the Basil Lemon Chicken dishes. Each plated and presented with care by the Chef himself, alongside some warm and crusty homemade bread. We ll be back for sure. Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian and vegan fare. We decided on take out. I didnt expect the food to be presented so nicely even on take out. My husband asked how long takeout would take and they mentioned 10 minutes and delivered. Portions were perfect, I finished my meal. Shrimp scampi had such large shrimps and fresh vegetables, it was worth every cent. Husband enjoyed his food too. The tiramisu was absolutely delicious, Im gonna have to go back for more! Sometimes its easy to tell when a chef is proud of their food and its crystal clear the moment we opened up the packages at home. Thank you!

This restaurant is definitely racist towards African Americans. We went here for Valentines Day. Upon walking in, no one greeted us. We asked a server if we could get a table for 2. She pointed at the tables and walked off. We sat for 10 minutes and no one came to the table. Finally we went to the counter and grabbed two menus. We sat for another 20 minutes and watched them bring peoples orders, drinks, and replacement silverware while pretending we were not there. Another couple walked in after 35 minutes and was greeted at the door, given menus, and immediately seated. Other patrons gave us sympathetic looks as they realized what was happening. We attempted to talk to the staff but they acted as if they did not understand. Finally we just left because it was very clear they had no intention of serving us. And yes we were the only African American people in the restaurant.

I am a vegetarian and I was very happy to see the vegetarian/Vegan options on the menu. We ordered Calabacitas rellenas, lentil Guiso, Mediterranean wrap and fresh orange and carrot juice mix. Everything was freshly made and tasting very good. Tiramisu desert was good but not great. The manager Mr. Isaias was very friendly and took good care of us to serve the food of our choice. Had a lovely girls weekend lunch at Alondras today. We went early and had the place to ourselves. The food was tasty, and the portions were just the right size. The service was attentive. It was a very pleasant time together. Vegetarian options: All three of us ordered from the vegan options. The veggie enchiladas were really good, if slightly well done on one side. The guiso de lentejas was really tasty. The calabasitas rellenas had a nice blend of seasonings, and the garden burger was yum and nicely cooked. It didnt fall apart once bitten into.

A wide variety on the menu (including vegan options). I had the peppercorn steak it was seasoned well and cook to a perfect medium. My wife had the lemon seasoned chicken which she loved! For dessert we had the apple crisp with ice cream. It was delicious. We definitely will be back. Everything was fantastic! Loved the egg rolls and house made sauce with them, the ceviche is great, and the beef lasagna was cooked very well! The bread was well baked too, even over the course of dinner and the bread cooled down, it was still crunchy and flakey outside, with a soft inside. This place closes on Saturdays which intrigued me, initially. I supposed they must be that good to close on perhaps the busiest day for a food place. So I visited and found out that, yes, they are, in fact, that good. The dish presentations are excellent and second only to taste. Ive had about 4 different entrées and not one disappointed though they remain resistant to ranking on my list. Think less a ladder, a column of grades, and more a large round plate of varied tastes ready to address whatever you are feeling at that moment. Mexican ancho chile dishes, fulfilling vegan options, staples like roulade and lasagna, theyre all there. You just cant go wrong. Occasionally, the chef will come out and just chat with you which I found to be a genuine, welcomed interaction with the person preparing our food. He even has a toque on which made me want to do up my top button. The desserts are the cherry on top, as it were. All portions are perfect, but if youre not full, why thats just a reason to order another dish, isnt it? This place is an absolute must try in Garland.

First visit in March 2022 was 5 star. Menu had lots of options. Waiter, an older man, he was excellent, attentive and thorough! Then, OMG, we went on Mothers Day and things were totally different. The young, male waiter took 30+ minutes to bring drinks ( I actually think he forgot us until we went and found another waitress, she came to take our order, like it had never even been turned in.) The restaurant was hot, and very uncomfortable. The menu changed leaving less options, and less to desire. We were a party of 7. My mother, the honored party this particular day, was delivered a chicken salad after she had ordered a chicken sandwich, so we all waited for her to get her correct food to eat, making our meals cold. The rolls were delivered at the very end of our meal. On our first visit, the rolls came with our drinks. The food took an hour+ to deliver and it wasnt very busy at that time, although it got busier as were getting close to leaving (feel sorry for those folks). We had an appointment scheduled and therefore we were over 45 minutes late. Shameful because food is delish!!

Just left here for a late lunch with my boyfriend, and it was absolutely delicious! The fresh carrot juice is so yummy, and last time I got the fresh orange juice I can t wait to this restaurant gets the recognition it deserves This is our second time eating here, me being a pescatarian and him a big meat eater, I love it here because we both leave happy lol. The first time that I saw this place I didnt think much of it because of where it is located which doesnt give much justice for the food that they prepare. The majority of the restaurants in this area serve fast food and needless to say, I dont like to eat fast food unless there is no other option, or I am too far from my house to cook something delicious. Having said that, this place is a gem!! Long story short, no food in the house, giving me the chance to eat at Alondras Cuisine. I checked the menu which has a very good selection of entrees and a good selection of sandwiches. I cant wait to try their Sirloin Cheeseburger. Today though I was feeling more like trying one of their entre dishes and opted to try their Ancho Chili Chicken. Besides the fact that nothing that the chef makes is in a can but instead it is cooked fresh out of the pan and into your plate, the entre was not only presentable but surprisingly delicious! Who wouldve thought that I was going to eat as if I was in a 5-star restaurant? Because I like to do reviews, I wanted to speak to the chef himself and congratulate him for making my taste buds feel happy after a long day of work. He sounds very passionate on his trade skill of cooking, and this of course is what any foodie like me looks for in a restaurant. I am eager to go back and this time I will invite my family to enjoy the food of Alondras Cuisine.
