My wife and I were in town for a death in the family and we found Sali s by chance. The food was incredible, the service was impeccable, the atmosphere was very relaxing. The lady that helped us was so very nice and treated us along with a customer who overheard our conversation and payed for our pizza. The kindness and generosity of not only the restaurant but the customer was wonderful and we thank you for that. We did not have a chance to thank the gentleman with two small children who payed for our pizza, if he s a regular please thank him for us. We will definitely be back every time we are in town.

GO HERE AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!!!! Be very careful when eating at this restaurant, the food is not horrible in fact the pizza is about the only good thing and the other entrees are mid. The problem with this place is the older blonde lady, I m assuming she s the owner/manager. You ll notice her because she s always on her phone speaking a different language. If she is your server then GET OUT!!!!! She will rob you! She ll charge you for refills even if it s sweet tea or water and won t pay much attention to your table but will charge you %15 gratuity, especially if you come in with two people or more. I ended up paying over $30 (just for me) for a medium pizza and Dr Pepper. When I confronted her about the price and gratuity, she makes up this lie about the refills are not free and because there was two people at our table but nowhere in the menu does it state that refills are not free. She is the only one that does that. So if you like being robbed for mediocre service and food this is your place to go. You re better off going to Cicis and that s saying a lot.

Hi! I have been coming to eat there a lot lately. However, last couple of weeks strangers that I dont know were profiling me and its been creepy there lately. A woman sat right by me and did exactly that. I got up and left and realized these strangers ruin your good time if you bite their bate. I deserve to be reimbursed for the tab last night. Main manager started acting completely different and went along with her nosey questions about me and my life. Even mentioning things medically and I stopped telling her my private information. I wont ever return... Yet, Im thankful to know that about the restaurant.

The food was delicious, as it always is. But I ordered in line and gave a specific time I was going to be there.... And was on time. But my dinner wasnt ready. I get that things happen and sometimes everyone wants everything at the same time so its impossible. But there did not seem to be a line of people waiting for their food when I got there. This is a family-owned and operated neighborhood restaurant where regulars dine and everyone is greeted by name or like an old friend. I had a cheesesteak sandwich that was loaded with thin-shaved steak, mozzarella cheese, roasted peppers and onions with a delicious red sauce on a perfectly toasted baguette. I ended up taking half home. The owners are cordial and friendly which makes you feel like you are in their home. The food is authentic, delicious and extremely reasonably priced. We drove from Fairview and it was so worth the trip!

Tried garland location today service was extremely slow, our pizza was ready on the counter but the server was trying to attend new customers who didn t even start their order my husband had to get the pizza by himself because we don t like cold pizza, pizza was soggy and soft, they charged us 2$ extra for something which we are not aware, they also charge 3.5 percent if you use credit card. ambiance was not good restaurant was not clean, not going back and do not recommend.

After 20 years you know what to expect and you make the best of it. It s a family owned business and they go about their business like that. Best pizza around if you like real pizza,not a chain! Pricey but huge and tasty. Crust is chewy,thin,and perfect.Recommend the Italian sausage.I like to dip the crust in marinara sauce , ordered on the side.Just get the large. It saves well too.Great with Italian beer,Moscato, or soda!

It is open seating. It rolled 3-4 minutes for a worker to let us know that it was. I loved the pasta! It was cooked to perfection! Except it was understaffed. There were only 3-4 people working. The server more attention towards other guests with an outgoing attitude. She was melancholy (monotone) with us. We definitely will go back to the food. There were a lot of flies around the restaurant. It was a nuisance. Also, in the restroom there was deodorant and toothpaste as well as a toothbrush laying out in the mens restroom. Which was weird.

I did not eat here, But I do food delivery and I ve been here twice and both times have been extremely unpleasant. The guy that cooks, having a spatula and other tools next to him, was flipping everything with his hands. The lady on the counter just shoved everything in a bag and the way she treated the food was like she hates people. These people don t deserve to have clients. Please take your family elsewhere.

We dont go out a lot but this was one of our favorite places. Im not sure if it was a deliberate change to save some money, but the food was horrible this time. The pasta overcooked and mushy. The lasagna looked as though it was made in the metal to go pan and it was like mush, the container smashed. The bread tasted stale. My spouse said the meatballs were great! But everything else was well below par. Im so bummed out, I was looking forward to this. Doubt Ill be back.

If you re Black/African American or any color darker than caramel IMMEDIATELY NO! The energy as I walked in gave very much she s black ignore her mind you; I was not even a customer I was there to do a delivery FOR THEIR COMPANY!( They had not even started on the food) it took them at least 5 min to even greet me. Maybe 4 tables were occupied so they weren t busy. I m literally standing in front of the guy, I say hello. he doesn t speak. I look around (nothing but Caucasians) cool, I just made the assumption whites only ..I turn back to him and say I m here to pick up an order for (will not state name) ..the man completely takes about 30 seconds to respond. Doesn t even look at me. Starts fidgeting with the register I say you know what that s fine il just cancel a lady gets up from her chair and says oh no, I m sorry what s the name? I immediately say no that s fine someone else can deal with this! And I walk out. I refuse to be treated indifferent and discriminated against in 2024 especially by people who shrivel up by the age of 35 and clearly lose their mind before the appropriate age of loss of brain deficiency! I ve never dealt with this much of incompetency from a group individuals. Coming from a city of great pizza! Chicago! The pizza looked dry any way -10 out of 10!

The lady which I assume is the owner was very rude. I work in construction so when I go eat at restaurants I walk with my construction boots. She was very unprofessional the way she came to me and complained about foot prints of dust on the carpet. Fist, the foot prints werent even my prints, they were from some other guys but she came to me and blame me in front of other people in the restaurant that made me feel humiliated. The food is great but she was definitely rude. Dont expect to be treated nice if you work in construction.

Take cash if you go or they will hit you with an extra charge for using card that you wont know about until you go to pay. I had a small pep pizza ($12.95) garlic rolls (3.95) and a drink and the total was $21.xx but she stopped herself since she saw no cash in hand card and it became $31.82 plus tax. Lady said everywhere charge extra for using card and when I said that doesnt add up she points to the sign on the payment counter that says 3% charge and said it is because of the card (which was a bank card) I had although she didnt see my card because I was holding my wallet in hand.

If you order online for pick please make sure you call the restaurant so that they dont argue with you about you not placing an order when you get there. Thank god I have my receipt or they wouldnt even make it. Been supporting this place for years. So surprised of this horrible service. Have visited Salis for nearly 15 years and have recommended to many. They make a good pizza and stromboli. Placed a phone order for a stromboli pick-up this afternoon. The owner/lady took my order and I drove my dinner home shortly thereafter. They got the desired ingredients wrong but no big deal. I simply called the correct order in once again (not the owner/lady this time) and was asked if I would like to pick up the order once again. I responded that yes...I surely would. I arrived 20-25 min later. I was greeted by the heavy-set owner/lady. There was no Hi, we got you all fixed up with a stromboli just like you ordered...enjoy! Instead, she snarled at me, threw the new stromboli on the counter in front of me and told me not to bring it back. She also had the nerve to accuse me of eating too much of the wrongly prepared stromboli that I returned. Perhaps if I would handed her the change in my pocket for the cost of an additional stromboli, she wouldnt have felt cheated! Never Again....

My kids and I used to eat here all the time and was really excited to be back...that is, until she called a table full of minorities dumb little kids. The kids had just came from the arcade and we decided to eat. One 6 year old was playing with his slinky and it fell to the ground. As he bent down to pick it up, the female owner turned around real fast and tripped over his little body. The child, mortified, goes over to as her of she is okay. He is met with this much larger woman jumping up shouting and yelling at him, accusing this little boy of purposely tripping her, when in fact it was you who tripped over this poor child trying to grab his slinky. To yell and scream like a petulant child, and call a group of children stupid little kids, all because your parents never taught you to slow down and look where you are going...is YOUR PROBLEM! Lady you need help. Thank you for ruining what was a great night, and traumatizing some elementary school kids. Dont worry, we will NEVER be back. We are pissed we ever spent so much money eating here over the years. EDIT: If you are going to write a response then you darn sure better be telling the truth. I am an Investigator, I do not need to lie. The 3ft kid you tripped over is a 6 year old little boy who was picking up a slinky for the arcade. I just had to take a minute and let yall know about their meat lasagna. The one I just had from Salis was LOADED WITH MEAT! A good portion in every bite throughout the whole FLAVORFUL dish. Absolutely horrible experience. Have never encountered such a disrespectful and hostile service anywhere. The server (heavy set older lady) made it seem like she was doing us a favor and kept complaining (down to a very personal level). Stay away from this place if you want an enjoyable experience. The food was mediocre. If there was an option I would give them 0. Even I star seems too good for them.

I thought it was going to be real authentic Italian food for my family and I!!! Sadly it was not and when I called to let them know they said oh well and hung up i spent $69 for wings that were not hot wings at alll!!! chicken Alfredo was not Alfredo taste like gravy!!! Caesar salad was with regular lettuce no Cesar no utensils my pizza was wrong one cheese medium pizza and pepperoni medium pizza didn t receive that!!

If I could leave a 0 star review I would. We live in Rockwall and drove all the way to Garland because someone recommended this place. We sat and waited for almost 20 min before someone came to take our drink order, which never came. Someone else came to our table and was really disrespectful towards me and my family. She slammed the silverware against the table, and shouted at us that we had to move to another table even though the place was empty. Eventually we were so fed up with how they were treating us that we just left. Terrible service and really unprofessional staff.

The spaghetti and lasagna were ok. The pizza had minimal toppings and the thin/crispy crust was soft. Kid-friendliness: Not very kid friendly w re to the portions. The waitress brought our 3 yr old an adult size drink but at least it was in a disposable cup. We ordered kids spaghetti which was huge. I had difficulty getting an extra bowl to separate some of it and we only recd a fork for her.

Ive been coming here since i was a kid in middle school and no complaints until my last 2 trips recently. Usually the pizza is made when you order it but the last 2 times theyve just added additional toppings to a pepperoni pizza and set it in the oven for a few ticks. Really upset me and the price changed for the exact same item but i think it was a cashiers error

The Sausage and Peppers Italian Roll was great. The garlic bread seemed off. Would not order that again. Service was lackluster. We sat at the table so long after we came in, and the waitress saw us, but didnt come over for so long I was wondering if we ordered at the counter. Always love going there, I feel like family when I come here because the staff knows me very well because I sometimes come there and do a little magic for the guest after i finish my meal. Now the food is absolutely Amazing. I love this restaurant the ingredients they use on the pizza is absolutely fresh. The prices are unbeatable in fact I have not ordered at a pizza parlor in a long time we his Pizza Hut Dominos and papa Johns cannot compare to this place. Another plus is their sizes the large is 16 medium is 14 And the small is 12. Hard to beat these sizes!!! This place is amazing if you like pizza and are around the area you should definitely check them out!!! :) Update: its been a while since I have been back but I am happy to say the pizza is still amazing!!!
