Well, well, well! I have passed this place a few times and never stopped. I went to school in San Marcos and wondered if this was associated w the restaurant of the same name. Find out it was. I ate there today and wow! What a great burger! Just as I remembered. Think Whataburger - but BETTER and less expensive. Even their Coke was perfect and fizzy. Griffs, I will be back! This is the best fast food burger out there!

The staff was made up of a lot of young people. My order was made wrong but so were several other customers. Mine was a quick fix but not everyone. I think there needs to be a Senior manger on staff to field issues as they arise.

The women taking the order were rude which should have just made me leave, but I ordered the mushroom meltdown with a Dr Pepper, and onion rings. Onion rings were good. The burger was not. It was absolutely drenched and soggy and the paper was sticking to the burger and just made it difficult to eat... I will never go to this location again. Disgusting to have wasted 13 bucks on this garbage.

Their bathrooms used to be very nasty and stinky for many months..... untill I couldnt stand to go eat there. But they have greatly improved........ They should DEFINITELY BE MOPPING UP THE EATING AREAS & BATHROOMS EVERY NIGHT; A PINE DISINFECTANT WOULD REALLY HELP THEM..... I have been coming here for 20 years. Like the food but they waste a burger on me every time I visit, at least once a week. I order a burger with mayo only no veggies. They include everything and have to make another one. 52 times a year for 20 years. Man, you think they would learn. How much money they must loose!!

Pulled into the drive thru around 10:05pm and waited at the speaker box for almost 5 minutes. Nobody answered so I pulled up to the window and nobody was inside. The door displaying the hours said they closed at 11pm. Quite disappointing they closed almost an hour early, hence the 1 star.

I dont know why, but for some reason we cannot ever get what we order from this location. We got three combos yesterday. My husband told the kid taking the order, three times, that he wanted bacon on all three of the burgers. We didnt get any bacon at all. Now, they didnt charge us for the bacon, but thats not the point. My husband told the kid three times, because the last time we went there we ordered seven combos, with bacon, and only got bacon on three of them, and we were charged for all of the bacon. The time before that, we ordered five combos, with bacon, and that is what we were charged for. Yet, somehow, we only got 4 combos with bacon. My husband let everyone else have the meals, while he ate a sandwich, because he was too tired to go back up there. We havent gone there very often, and this is exactly why. Unfortunately Griffs, three strikes and youre out. We wont be going there at all after this, nor can I, in good conscience, recommend this establishment to anyone.

I usually enjoy Griffs... in Irving. I come to this location often as well and its 50/50. Ive visited the location around 10 times, and on at least 2 occasions, Ive found hair in my bag. (My hair was died so Im sure it wasnt mine) I didnt complain because mistakes happen. But twice, its an issue. Other than that, it has been great.

This Griffs has really gone downhill. The fries are thickly cut and undercooked and have no salt. The milk shake has too much milk its pretty much a soupshake. And I dont know how they get the buns on the burger to be soggy. Like they dipped the buns in the oil or water or something.

They must have overhauled this place since my last review because I went recently & my experience was 10 times better than it was about a year or so ago. The workers were actually working & not goofing off (I dont think any of the old staff was there so maybe they cleaned house?). The workers I did encounter were polite & professional. I believe this nice woman was a manager, but my mom had her fries already & I got mine after her so mine were from the fresh batch. This kind woman gave my mom a set of fries from the new batch and let her keep the ones she already had! We were hesitant about going in the past due to the multiple issues, but not anymore. Hopefully well continue to have good experiences in the future because the food is great when the staff is focused on their jobs! So glad they overhauled this place now we can come back & enjoy the food again!

Horrible, waited in drive through for almost 30 min with only two cars in front of me. They should have instructed the car in front of me to pull ip amd wait for their large order. Honestly I don t like leaving reviews like this but the service today was just horrible, they gave me the wrong order which is fine it happens so I took it back to have it remade and waited 15 mins and nothing went back to ask for the food and they forgot to remake it. At that point I just requested a refund. During the time of this you can see the kids in the back just grabbing the burgers with no gloves and opening them up to check them. There was 2 other customers that came back in the location with the wrong order themselves. The staff working were completely unwelcoming and rude. If you don t want to work then find a different job.

I have been to this place in the last two weeks at least twice. Today was the worst horrible service I ever had. I went through the drive-through, was very specific with my order and the young people that they have working here are very unpleasant. I don t know if it s the parents or management but these kids need to do better. After explaining to them they still got my order wrong when I asked a question and let them know what they did wrong all the kid did was shake his head and wave the receipt in my face. I asked to speak to a manager She rectified the issue and then I told her that they need to train them how to speak with the customers. Once I got home all of my fries were greasy and thrown in the bag not even in the fry bag. The food was very disappointing on top of the bad service. When I called The manager supposedly hung up the phone by accident I called again it was off the hook she never help me about the fries that was very soggy. Horrible service will never go back.

Im going to have to disagree on this one. When I say just another unseasoned sonic burger thats exactly what it is. Read the comments and wanted to try. First, my food wasnt fresh after an hour and a half or so of opening, so disappointing. Second, I ordered all burgers a certain way all with no onions but had pieces of onions on my burger like its being rushed to be made. Not one but two times! The tator tots taste like it came out of old grease. After I brought it to their attention. This caucasian guy with violet colored short hair and african american girl with long faux locs were at the drive thru window. The guy act like he couldnt understand when I asked for fresh food and no onions to touch my burgers, so the girl told the people to hold on in her headset leaned down and ask me what was the problem as if she were intimidating someone with some sort of an attitude, after I already explained what was wrong. Anywho, the same guy from the window came out with my food and I noticed his shirt is filled with hair front and back and he choose to have an attitude giving me my food. I TRIED IT, DISAPPOINTED AND RESPECTFULLY WILL NOT BE RETURNING!

Food always excellent. We live in rowlett. Go about once a month. And it was first time we walked in and somebody had mopped the floors. I guess with some greasy water. Oh my gosh it was like a skating ring. It was kind of funny though, but that rarely happens. We had a good laugh about it. But the service and food is always excellent and usually the floors are too. Really disappointing experience. Have been here several times and have enjoyed it in the past. We were the only customers at 10:45 on a Sunday morning. Kid with food prep gloves on took our order and got all 3 kids burgers wrong. Scratched his head with gloved hand and went back to prep without changing gloves. Took 20 min just to get fries. Burgers were given to us 10 min before fires were done. They had been sitting under a heat lamp just waiting. No effort was made to refund due to unreasonable wait. No apology from asst manager who clearly did not have the friers turned on. One kid mumbled under his breath, sorry about that. I understand that Sunday morning does not necessitate an all-star staff, but get at least one person who gives a damn on shift.
