The restaurant is clean and the staff was very nice. But...we waited 30 minutes for our food. I ordered 3 different sushi for 3 different people and for whatever reason all the sushi was put into one box. That was very frustrating. Nobody knew which sushi was whos and 3 people all eating out of one box is not appetizing. I also ordered the shrimp spring rolls. I only got shrimp in one roll. The other roll was nothing but lettuce, carrots, and onions. They were also wrapped very loose and fell everywhere on the first bite. Pho 20 has better spring rolls. The food tastes fine but not great. Just plain. I paid $42 for 4 people including a $5 tip. I probably wont go back. I get better food at Salt Grass for that price.

The food was delicious. The hours are different but it makes sense how they have it set up. The only thing is ordering take out, you might be waiting for awhile as this food takes time to prepare but they have a sign asking for customers to not sit in tables if waiting on a to go order. Be prepared to stand awhile or sit in your car.

Their ordering system is a joke. You have to order online to eat inside. And because their online ordering system is a joke, you have to order 2 times if you want a beer. Terrible service. This is exactly why Restaurants fail. Find another place to eat, their are places that care, this place doesnt.

I came here last month in may, don t waste your money here. Food is terribly expensive, and the sushi and poke bowl isn t enough to make you full. You have to eat at least two plates to be full. The boba drinks are okay. I had 4 people bill came up to over $120 dollars and none of us came out full. The sushi is okay nothing special and our poke bowls for 15 bucks is way too much. I would suggest if you visit Galveston island for you to eat somewhere else. Also you can t walk here from the beach, it s way too far.

this place was very clean and inviting and the food was great! i only ordered a poke bowl which took about 20 minutes. I had no issue with the wait and completely understood they were busy. But since it took a while, I decided to eat there instead of taking it to go. Mid way into my meal, I was told I was not allowed to sit because tables are only for dine-in customers and mine was made to-go . There were plenty of open tables for other customers but I was told you can t eat here - you must go . Message received..

Compared to some other poke Ive had, I found this a bit pricey (I got 2 protein yet I was still lacking some fish towards the last 1/3 of my meal). I also wish that the toppings were all free (so many had an additional charge- I can understand some like avocado). I did appreciate how they had so many options in protein and topping though- one of the most options Ive ever seen! The flavors in my bowl were great and they did give plentiful toppings. I was afraid that since I chose multiple sauces, the bowl would become too salty but that wasnt the case thankfully- the flavor was just right. The fish was fresh as well. I also loved the interior design of the store (insta worthy!) and how they are trying to uphold social distancing by closing a lot of tables.

$20 for ramen. Delusional. Had to pay and tip BEFORE getting food, seat ourselves, and get our own water and refills if you dont want a $6 Boba. Maki rolls are small in quantity, and honestly mid. They werent very good; not rolled tight, too much rice. They looked like someone made it at home for the first time. Also, if I recall correctly, Im pretty sure they just used jasmine rice for the sushi and even remembering this hurts my head. All in all, overpriced nonsense with non existing service that expects a tip prior to receiving your food, bottom tier japanese restaurant thinks its cornering the market when in actuality; a Chinese buffet makes better sushi if you see it. Wont be going back. Do not recommend.

Decided to visit with my family for lunch. Not overly busy. Nice ambiance. Ordered 4 poke bowls, an appetizer, noodles and two drinks which came out to about 120 with tip. Food I would describe as extremely lackluster unfortunately. The recent newer reviews share this sentiment unfortunately. The miso soup was a little warmer than room temperature. The tea which was ordered hot was also the same, like tea left out for 30 minutes. The poke bowls we had were the make your own ones. Half the items to choose from had a price added to it which is fine by me. The issue is, for my bowl, they forgot several items (that I paid additionally for) or severely skimped. The protein for example that you pay $2 for more of amounted to less than a tablespoon of meat. Forgot the sauce on top. Maybe Ive been spoiled by other poke places that dont nickel and dime and give actual meat/toppings. The rice is also like steamed white rice rather than sticky rice which was very disappointing especially since they forgot the sauce on top which led to a very dry bowl. Also very small portion. I would say the noodles were not bad and good amount, the cold boba tea looked good, the appetizer (popcorn chicken) not good, the hot tea cold, and the poke bowls a few levels below supermarket. Do yourself a favor and get that instead if youre craving a bowl. As a side note, the workers need to be careful about their attitude. This wont really affect my opinion of the food which again was disappointing. One of the workers was next to me when he started complaining about how big my order was, flustered, as if we were inconveniencing him. Forgot to bring items to the table we requested. Were sorry for spending money in your restaurant. The female cashier was nice.

Its a cute place with a cute vibe. But based on my first (probably last) experience here, its severely lacking. Its a Saturday at 1:30pm and its pretty slow. I ordered a single bowl of miso ramen. The price is extremely high for plain broth, overcooked veggies, and pork chashu thats basically all fat. No chew to it at all. I actually had to add salt. Also the eggs were cold. Both the one that comes with it, and the extra one I ordered that didnt come with the meal and had to ask for. I also asked for chili oil which was fine. But you can tell its out of a jar. The service was ok, the young lady at the counter was sweet. But the rest of the staff were all also very young. I mean like literal kids, except for one. Doesnt bother me unless it affects the service overall, which it clearly does. I ordered, ate what I could, and am sitting here typing this. There was a man sitting in the dining room when I arrived; I thought he was part owner or something. No. He was waiting on a to go order for over 45 minutes! I dont know. Its just a little confusing. Also between the $15.95 for bland ramen, $1 extra egg, and $0.79 service fee for using a card, plus a 15% tip, I paid $22.09 for a bowl of ramen I didnt even eat half of.

The food was good, but lackluster. Were not really sure what was missing about it other than it seemed very bland. We had been to another poke restaurant in Beaumont the night before, had almost the exact same poke bowls as far as ingredients, and absolutely loved it.

Awkward experience. It is expensive and not on my list of restaurants to go back to. I went with my kiddos. Not many kids friendly choices, which is to be expected if your kids arent used to this type of food. But for the one that was, she was greeted with raw meat on her pokey bowl. I guess we assumed it would be cooked, but we werent expecting raw salmon and vegetables. Theres no indication that any of it was going to be raw. There should be for those who dont know the cuisine. The sushi was decent, and so were the fried dumplings, but the chicken fried rice was seemingly chicken-less. I had two eating rice for 7 bucks a piece. Your drink choices are all bottles or expensive coffee and shakes. So after 4 of the cheapest things, I could find it was almost 50 bucks, and we just drank the complimentary water they have set out with tiny 6oz cups. The worst part was trying to order off the screen they have hanging above the sushi bar. Its really fun having 4 of the workers just staring at you while you try to figure out the menu. There is a lot of potential here, but between the prices, the menu, and the lack of information on the food served, it was a big waste of money and time for us.

The service ok, people would come in and order takeout and their food would be done in minutes whereas if you sat in the restaurant to eat, your food took between 20-30 minutes, so its definitely not a place to go if you want to get your food quickly (unless youre getting takeout). Service was great, the lady took order was very friendly, the food runner guy was nice and cool. The food wasnt the best, BUT honestly, I personally I think it wasnt bad at all, it just a but much sauce for me, which isnt a big deal since people might like more seasoning. I think the price could be slightly softer (there must be a reason why for their price though) Overall, I think it is slightly on the expensive side but still worth the try, and I probably would come back again.

I would not come here for anything besides the drinks. They are okay but on the small side, being tall but skinny cups and somewhat watery. The bursting boba are fun but the traditional boba is still the best choice. Missing many flavors like red bean. Matcha was mostly sugar and milk with little matcha flavor. I dont really want to diss the food too much, but it was so underwhelming I feel a need to temper expectations based on other glowing reviews. I specifically ordered at 5pm on a Monday, because most customers (the UTMB crowd) would eat here on a workday and they usually start prepping for dinner now, meaning it should be freshly made, or thats my thinking anyway. Even waited for the order at the counter. Sadly, almost every part of my large, two person meal was cold, old, or mediocre. Starting with the katsu pork. It was cold and hard. The rice. Crunchy, cold, hard. Stir fry vegs were straight out of a Chinese buffet. Super oily. Speaking of buffet. The sushi was even worse than buffet sushi. Cold, old, hard. There were so many good pics of the poppin chicken. Large juicy pieces. Ordered it. Got popcorn chicken that was cold, old, and very hard, and 90% batter with little chicken. Takoyaki? More like tako-yuck. I couldnt even taste anything. Probably just all flour. The charshu or chashu is just as bad as my moms homemade chashu, with overly sweet/salty amateur mixed bbq sauce. And it was cold of course. Rice and vegs also all cold and hard. The miso soup, if you can even call it that, is basically plain broth. No miso flavor whatsoever. You can get much better from the soup mix packets at Walmart. Not even gonna talk about the perfunctory salad, which I didnt know existed. The underlying theme here is old, cold, and mediocre. Ive included pics, and yes they do look way better than the real thing. I blame modern smartphone magic.

The fried rice is the best Ive had in any Asian restaurant in a few years. I deducted a couple of stars because: The cashier (she may have been a manager) seemed bothered to take our order. And if there is an issue, its something easliy overlooked. Today I had seafood rice and poppin shrimp. The shrimp was amazing and the rice is USUALLY good. Unfortunately today, I guess they decided to use old rice. After taking SEVERAL spoonfuls of rice and having to pick out crunchy, hard, possibly overcooked pieces. I attempted to cal them. I have currently been on hold for 14 and a half minutes. While the atmosphere is not exactly inviting, I did expect better service.

Ordering is frustrating. There are large screen TVs over the counter, but theyre turned off. A QR code takes you to a literal app you have to download to see their menu. They ask your date of birth before you even see the menu. We managed to order a few sushi rolls. 15 minutes later, we were told that the sushi chef wasnt in, and we could wait 45 minutes for him to arrive or change our order. We changed our order. When the next table left after an hour of waiting for their food and told us the cashier didnt know how to issue a refund, we cut our losses and left. I asked for a refund and the cashier said it would go back to my card. I asked, do you need to know what I ordered, who I am, my card number? She said no. I have no confidence Ill see my money back, but I was already too short on time to argue. The strawberry smoothie we were able get was excellent, but the service was unprofessional. I really feel for the employees under such poor management. Update: I appreciate the reply. I received my refund yesterday.

So excited we finally got to try this place! Delicious dumplings, best Ive had here! Their poppin chicken was tasty & spicy with the sauce. The spicy pork ramen was scrumptious. I expected more broth, but maybe that is just me. My husband had the chicken fried rice & said it was just okay. He also had their strawberry milk tea with blueberry bursting boba and said it was the best tea on the island! Definitely want to go in person to try their sushi!

Came here tonight with some friends. Food was reasonably priced and pretty tasty. The service was quick and efficient, and we loved the overall vibe! On the food side, we ordered spam musubi, takoyaki, gyoza, the spider roll, spicy tuna roll, and spicy kina roll. Sushi was solid, but my friends who ordered the two spicy rolls wished that they were a little bit spicier. We also ordered boba, which was great! I had the traditional milk tea with crystal boba, and my friends had the lychee tea with lychee boba and rose milk tea with strawberry bursting boba. I would definitely get boba here again!

We drove for over an hour to get there only to find out that the kitchen was closed in the middle of the day for 2 hours. We had checked the website for hours to make sure that they will be open and we were really looking forward to eating there. I understand wanting to take a break in the middle of the day but I suggest updating your hours on Google, Yelp, and your website. They did make us a drink however we had spent the day Galveston and needed a full meal. The place was well decorated and clean

Lovely family establishment. Best place to get boba, and they have so much variety to their menu and there is definitely something for everyone. Personally I love the caterpillar roll (hands down, the best way to eat eel) and salmon poke bowl, and they have affordable, yet delicious, fried rice and yakisoba. I also cant leave out their masterfully put together bento box. This place is just the best.

The quality of salmon in their rolls tasted very fresh. Service deserved 5 stars, they understood my food allergens and worked around it with no hassle. (Thank you again.) The atmosphere/theme can be described as cafe like, calm, chill and very tidy. If given the chance, I would come back again.

First off, everyone was so nice and friendly. Second, the poke bowls were a very good size and had a good portion of fish which is a very nice change. I will say that mine was missing some of the sauces I had checked off but it was still very good.

Ah, the age old question. Is the gulf of Mexico considered a sea? Is it large enough? I guess its what we choose, as individuals, to call it. Whatever you call it, its a beautiful and majestic work of nature. So... is Suki really by the sea? Im not sure. But it IS good. I recommend it.

I ve been to this establishment several times trying to give it a chance but every time I leave very disappointed. I m also only giving one star because google is making give it. My main complaint is how rude the workers are especially the girl who works the register. It s been the same rude girl every time I ve gone. Very bad attitude to say the least and when you ask a question about the food served there she acts like it s a disservice to answer and looks at you with attitude like you re an idiot. She doesn t pay attention to detail then responds with attitude when she s told she processed the order wrong. This has been the same service there not once but more than a handful of times. The food is just ok and with such horrible service the ok food isn t worth the rudeness and attitude that starts the moment you walk through the door.

On April 23,2022, my husband and I had ordered two poke bowls and one mango green tea drink from this restaurant on their online website. We went to go pick up our orders. When we went in to the establishment, there was one girl sitting on the counter playing on her phone and another lady walking around cleaning up. No one greeted us. I said hello, were here to pick up our order. The one lady cleaning up got a lady from the back to help us. I said were here to pick up our order. She went to the back and came back out and said theyre closed due to remodeling. I had stated I ordered online. The money came out of my bank account. She said it was cancelled and showed me her phone where my order was cancelled. I asked, will I get my money back and she said yes, no problem. The charge will go back in my account within several days through their online vendor. She reassured me there would be no problem. Fast forward four months later and Im still trying to get my 43.95 (including a $2 tip) back for food and drink I never got. Capital one has refused to give me my money back. Ive provided the email showing the order was cancelled. Ive called for the past several weeks and spoke with Sakura and Suki and requested the manager to call me. Ive never received a call from the male manger whom they said would give me my money back. Ive sent Capital One and the manager my email showing my order was cancelled and both the restaurant and Capital one still will not give me my money back. Lesson learned... dont buy food off a website from a non reputable company. Dont use Capital one bank card to purchase shady items.

I attempted to place my order by phone. I was placed on hold for 15 mins and Noone ever returned. I decided to place the order via UberEats since now the phone was off the hook and I couldnt contact the place directly. I needed changes to my order and called to make changes, phone was still off the hook. I thought maybe they are busy. I hop on my bike and ride over to see the place not busy. I walk inside, and stand for about 15 mins while the workers looked at me several times,Noone greeted or spoke to me. There were children working behind the counter, no hair nets. To my surprise they never received my order and blamed it on the device they were using. I got my money back expeditiously from UberEats, however that was Sukis chance to have another returning customer. My first experience was terrible and I will not go back to get ignored and mistreated again by the staff.

I ordered food in the store. I ordered the honey miso salmon donburi. I received a fried shrimp donburi. Very disappointed in my food after getting all the way back to the west side of the island and sitting down to eat. I contacted them by email and was told they hadnt had salmon in about a year. I was told to check the current menu on the website. How friendly. I would think it would be current in the restaurant. When I ordered, I wasnt informed that salmon wasnt available. I wasnt offered a receipt either, or Id have seen the order. If I had been, I could have pointed out the outdated menu they had posted. I didnt want fried food, but I guess it doesnt matter. Their response made it sound like I was trying to order something they used to have, but this was my first time there. Apparently I was making stuff up for my order. Probably my last visit because I felt like I wasted $50. Epic dinner fail. The shrimp wasnt worth $18..it tasted like SeaPak brand, which is okay, but a box costs less than $18. Update 04/30/2022 Im changing my rating to 4 because they contacted me again and acknowledged the oddity in the menu. To me its not so much what happened, but how it was handled. They offered to make it right and Ill go back and try something else when Im in the area next week. Who knows, it might be a 5 after my next visit.

I realized after I reviewed their app I totally forgot to review it here. SUKI POKÉ is my absolute favorite, hands down. They do not disappoint. I love being able to customize my boba tea and poke bowl. I hope they can grow and get more restaurants. I moved to Dallas about 2 years ago and I get so sad that I can t go to Suki Poké. If it tells you anything, every time I visit Galveston (or even just go to Houston), I will always drive the extra mile to go here. The last time I went to Galveston, I went to Suki Poké 3 different times
