Fajita nachos. Good. Barbacoa plate, very good! This place is inside a Hispanic food market. On the outside you wouldnt know it was serving good meals. There are several tables for seating and the waitresses are nice but dont know a lot of English. Parking: Parking mainly on one side of the building. Kid-friendliness: Yes. Kids are welcome.

We decided to stop (considering how many food truck options there are in the area) based on the great reviews and they did not disappoint! I tried the lengua (beef tongue) quesadilla and it was fantastic! Their chicken is also really flavorful and their hot sauces are HOT. We even got to talking to the owner about the plants around his truck. Its refreshing to find a restaurant that is owned by someone who truly cares about his customers and it shows. 10/10 recommend.

I had gotten the Taco Salad, made with chicken, and it was amazing! The place was lively and had a nice convenience store in the back where I purchased a bed set. The only complaint I have would be the waitress. I dont know if she was having a bad day already or we made her mad, she did a good job but was kinda snappy about it. However, it was a good experience overall and is definitely one of my favorite Mexican restaurants in Galveston.

First time trying this place very authentic and great food i ate the green pozole and it was a huge blast of Mexican flavors, my girl got the fajita plate and she didnt speak the whole time means it was great food , our whole experience here was really good and specially becouse they have fresh sweet bread in the entrance with nice hot strong coffee, the waitress that served us was very nice and professional answered all our questions being our first time here and help me choose my plate thanks for everything we will be back to enjoy your great food and good service , VERY RECOMMENDED by a really picky eater

Ive only had one visit to this restaurant, therfore it wouldnt be fair to give a full review or low/high star rating.. My order was a fajita torta to go. It could have used a little more of a meatier flavor, and the torta bread was too thin, which made it become flimsy with the fillings and salsa. The seating area is large, and the combination plates carried out to tables looked appealing. Ill be back again to try various dishes and combo plates.

I ordered 4 tacos, the one who took my order was a skinny girl, reluctantly, I asked her what the tacos contained and there was no answer, the tortillas were broken, they didnt give me sauce, and I asked her if they had them, she said yes, without being able to tell I would give 0 stars. The bathroom had cockroaches, I counted about 10.

Stopped in because of the good reviews and loved the food! Went with my husband and two year old. Food was great, loved the horchata! The lady who served us was not very friendly and seemed to be in a bad mood the whole time so it was a little uncomfortable, but glad we stopped by. Nice portion sizes for a nice price.

I ordered beef broth and what I received was a plate full of fatty skins. The waitresses service is so good that they even bother asking you every 5 minutes: Is everything okay? And the truth is Its too much. Now never use dirty and stinky bathrooms, it seems like you dont know chlorine. If its hot, dont even go, its an oven there. The only air conditioning they have is in the kitchen, what the public only receives is hot winds, they have a tremendous noise, the television at full volume, the AC, the radio with music at full volume, in short, it is uncomfortable. They have some bamboo plates on each table, it seems like they havent been washed in years, as well as the salt and pepper shakers, they are very dirty. We came here after a quick search for breakfast tacos. Who knew that we would find a gem that was by far better than any other restaurants we went to that weekend. The food was great and the prices were absolutely fair. It seemed like a working persons kinda spot. They also had a grocery store in the restaurant. I think you could even bring your own catch in, and they will cook it, not 100% sure on that. I had the whole fried fish, best I can remember having as far as fried fish goes. Anyway, if you are in town for a weekend I would say this is a cant miss spot but dont tell anyone because you tell someone and then they tell someone and the next thing you know I cant get a table next time i go.

Lady working the cashier was extremely friendly and helpful with me today. Im the tattooed woman that has rbf and is socially awkward. She was so kind and helped me with the menu. The to go order was quick. Everything extremely fresh and you get lots of food at a good price. This exceeded my expectations. I had the #35 Chicken Enchilada. The hot sauce served on the side with it is amazing and flavorful as well.

It looks like a grocery store from the outside but as soon as you walk in you step into the dining room of a restaurant that just so happens to have groceries. Most of them are dry goods but hey, they have cinnamon so big and fragrant, tamarindo pods as big as your hand, and all the dried hibiscus youll need. This is also known as flor de Jamaica which translates to flower of Jamaica. Just so you know. I dont get my flower here I come here for the food. This day I had the pork chop special. Dang, thats a lot of food for not so much money. The menu has a lot to offer and everything has been great. There are a lot of places that have a better atmosphere and maybe better this and that but the food was good and the beer was cold, and it was cheap. So if your looking for Mexican food this place is on Broadway and a safe bet. Youll see locals here, including me and that tells you something.

Nice authentic Mexican restaurant off the beaten path in Galveston. I had a bowl of menudo, an adventurer s specialty. I like my food tasty and spicy and they got it right.
