Jessica was fantastic. Always answered my questions in a timely manner and was able to guide me through a very difficult time and case. She stayed on the prosecutor and pushed issues when they needed to resulting in a very positive outcome on an accusation that would have destroyed my life. We hired this firm to defend our son against a crime he didnt commit. Although our son was acquitted of all charges it was an easy win. He was accused of stealing his own property. The communication was very poor with our attorney. I felt I was bothering him by asking questions. The worst of all was that we were not informed that my son would NOT get his property back after all charges were dropped .It was given to the person who claimed the item was hers on the spot the day of my sons arrest. Stay away from Galveston would be my advise. Something is very wrong there across the board and find a different attorney!

Great lawyers. My brother had 5 case and 2 were dismissed. We paid a hefty price but for the low sentencing my brother received, the charges he was fighting with and dealing with a judge who plays hard and its notorious for giving long sentences. We were happy with the result. We were dealing with Jessica Ebbs but unfortunately she had to go on leave for personal reasons. Jessica was good at communicating back. She did things we want done like bond reduction and letting us know what was happening. We did run into a couple hiccups but where there was some miscommunication but was clarified. But when she left. We dealt with Thomas Overhouse. Not so great at communicating. I left 3 messages over evidence with the receptionist who was very friendly and very attentive. But I have yet to get a reply. So that is for the one start deduction. Highly recommend Jessica.

Thomas was excellent! I actually hired him kind of last minute and I was worried if he would work hard or even be able to get the information needed for my case. I must say I was throughly impressed! He was able to gather all the extra information he needed for my case!!!! Thomas also patiently answered any of my questions with a fast response. He was well informed about my case(being able to get more information than I had) and he made the necessary phone calls to ensure he went to trial prepared. The opposing side didn t bring all the facts/full truth to the table, but Thomas made sure to present the facts/truth clearly to the judge. He watched my video and told me what I should do and dont give up and gave me advice and hope to make it through. Went into office lady said let me see if he is in really lmao when she opened his door I saw him sitting there with nobody else in the office she told me he wasnt there. So I went outside and made a phone call to the office the lady said hang on a minute let me see if hes hereshe comes back and says hes not in the office right nowI had already personally sat in his office and talk to him about my caseand he was not very interested because its going up against the Galveston county sheriffs office I guess hes scared of them be wary

From my first meeting with Jessica she put my mind and my soul at ease. She explained the possible outcomes and the outcomes of similar cases she s handled. Assuring me she would work diligently to get me the best results. Promise fulfilled. She resolved a couple of misdemeanors for me, but I would trust her in any court. She showed up on my behalf during renovation of the courthouse, and I only had to make one appearance throughout the entire matter. And that was the last setting when she disposed of it. She proposed an offer I couldn t refuse, and told me if that wasn t acceptable she would renegotiate. But no need she had already exceeded my expectations.
