Its a tradition now that we come here every time we visit Galveston..a few times every summer. The food is always good. The service is always good. They never hurry us along or seem irritated that my family takes an hour or so to eat. I love buffets and this is a great one!

If Im being completely honest I love Golden Corral and I personally believe this was just a bad location I hate to admit it but the food here was extremely dry I mean there wasnt a hint of flavor with any of the food. To make things worse you could tell the food was sitting out for a while but thats just my opinion.

The resort location is very good. At $18 for an adult and $10 for a child under 12, its a great price. Large selection of food, we didn t like all of it, but there was plenty for us to eat. I recommend! The staff is friendly. The steak was very tasty and so were the ribs. There were not enough fresh vegetables for us; tomatoes and cucumbers were not very good in our presence. Thats why I took off 1 star. And I liked everything so much. Parking: We arrived at 7pm on a Saturday evening and there was a parking spot. I think thats enough.

That location in Galveston was way better than the North Richland Hills location. It had everything from fruits, desserts, meat and bread. Fruit section was packed and never lacking at all! Its pretty inexpensive for an $18 buffet. Thats only a little more than a Wendys combo. The food is okay, with some passable, some poor, and some decent. Fried chicken was super salty. Salad bar not the freshest but good variety. Clan chowder surprisingly not pure water. I havent been here in years and heard it was recently renovated. Unfortunately no new items. Some Asian dishes are gone. Chocolate fountain gone. The soft serve is still there at least. And theres a new icee machine with several flavors. Service was attentive.

This place has gone down hill since it was updated . The food is not what it used to be. They had frozen lettuce cucumbers and tomatoes. (Couldn t make a salad). The mashed potatoes could patch a wall. The chicken is very dry and always overcooked. The eating utensils were dirty on two different occasions. I also had some ice cream and found something disgusting in it. Looked like rolled up wet brown paper towel. So sad because we used to love going there.

I been to a lot of Golden Corral s,and this place is the BEST Golden Corral that we ate at. The front person charging was nice . When you walk in to this place, you notice all the hard workers everywhere and the food was so beautiful displayed. This place was on top of the game with making sure the food was hot and filled . My husband and I was so impressed that we had to try everything.It was around 1:30 on a Tuesday, we live 45 minutes away and just wanted to try Galveston Golden Corral. And the drive was worth it. We even saw the manager going around checking the food.Whoever is running that restaurant, is doing an excellent job. Keep up the good work employees and management.We will be back very soon.
