Fourth of July weekend 2020, I randomly and frantically called Kirsten about a house that had hit the market. We always kept our eye out knowing we had limited neighborhood options for our elementary school and it was rare to see one that we wanted to view and considered worth moving for. Adam was quick to get us in contact with a loan officer to get the ball rolling. We ended up not getting that house but Kirsten worked with us to prep our home for staging so if that perfect home came up we could move quickly. That happened about six weeks later! Adam handled our open house and inspection on the new home while we were out of town and talked us through every step. Kirsten s interior design skill and contacts for home improvements are top notch. By closing day, we were friends and are so thankful for our relationship to this day! Happy Home anniversary!!

Cannot speak highly enough of my experience with The Cheney Group. They assisted us with the original purchase of the home, 5 years of renting as property manager, and eventually the sale this summer (2021). During the sale we ran into just about every type of issue with closing, repairs necessary, initial buyer backing out, second buyer having closing issues. They handled every issue with poise and confident guidance. For starters, the timing and recommendation on the pricing was spot on. Secondly, the assistance in dealing with all of the various vendors throughout the entire process was extremely helpful, and also when we truly got a sense of how capable the Cheney Group is an entire team and organization. Finally, the guidance and negotiating was where Jeff really showed his decades of experience in the real estate field and northern Dallas area. We have bought and sold several homes for both personal use and as investors; and The Cheney Group gets our top praise. Highly recommend them, you will not be disappointed.

Our choice to work with Adam at the Cheney Group, single handedly made it possible for me and my family to purchase our dream home. We moved from out of state (Seattle area), and our first step narrowing down where to live and what neighborhoods to check out. He s very knowledgeable, and based on our family needs, he helped guide us to neighborhoods that met our criteria. Having young kids, good schools, outside playing and community are important to us. Also, a shorter work commute and being close to food and stores. Our favorite neighborhood s a desirable place to live and house go extremely fast- in a day or two [Newman Village]. Adam s very connected and wired in with the real estate community and proactively reached out to other agents to flag our need. This was the ticket to pairing us with a seller of our dream home and making it happen. If we didn t have an agent connected deeply to the Frisco area, I think we wouldn t have had a chance in this house. Once we closed, Kirsten took the time to walk me through the house and helped me design my layout for key rooms. Additionally, she helped me pick out furniture and fabrics for my window coverings. She is exceptionally talented and really helped me make my home my own space. Being new to the area, we didn t have any connections for plumbers, cleaners, pediatricians etc. They supplied us with recommendations as things popped up and all of these have turned out better than I expected. We received top dollar for our home sale and paid far lower than the listing price on our new home. Jeff Cheney sold our first home in Frisco and did an outstanding job, so of course when we were ready to buy we called The Cheney group and luckily got Adam as our realtor. He was so friendly on the phone and listened very carefully to what my husband and I were looking for, I had a building in mind so I told him about it. He followed up and when it was time to go look at various properties, he sent us a timeline of what buildings we had picked. He researched each one and told us little details we would not have seen just by looking. We looked at about 6 units and we could have settled but at the last hour, the one I described to Adam in the first phone call came open on the market. We had to wait but it sure was worth the wait. Once he got the key we knew it was the loft for us. He has mad skills when it came to negotiation ( we give him a 10) . He knew his numbers and would not settle until he was completely satisfied with the price we would pay. From there, his staff guided us along the way, it was a whirlwind close. He was there for us from start to finish (expect the close due to Covid virus). We are so impressed with him. I would suggest Adam and Jeff to help you buy or sell your next home 100%. Having just moved here from out of state, I didnt know what to expect nor did I have a good grasp of the local market. I truly appreciated not only the top professionalism but the daily communication throughout the entire process. I contacted The Cheney Group after being on the market for 6 months with another realtor. They responded very quickly and visited the house the next day. The came up with a new marketing plan which seemed to make a lot more sense. The viewing activity picked up and so did the offers and in 2 months we had sold the house. We utilized the Cheney group to help us a purchase a home in the Dallas, TX area after relocating from California. When we first arrived to Texas we were using a realtor from Ebby Holliday and became very frustrated with her service. I called the Cheney group and Nikki was available to meet us within a few hours of our call and we were seeing homes within a matter of 1 day. I heard about the Cheney group through a friend and I absolutely love them. They are very quick to respond to any questions and made the process really easy. They really impressed me when Jeff came to my house to help me understand the process, they helped with staging advice and the pictures were amazing. They also went with me to meet with the builder and they helped me chose the best options that would increase the value of the house and be in highest demand for the neighborhood. They even talked the builder down in price!. In March 2015, I needed to sell my house and move out of state in one month. The whole process went very fast with much being done by the Cheney group when I wasnt in the state. Once my house was listed and I viewed the listing, and they had done such a good job with the description and pictures I wanted to buy my house again!!! I have no doubt that the Cheney group is the reason why I received multiple offers and was able to all my house within 30 day from listing to closing!

The Cheney Group has helped us twice with our real estate needs. Louis DiBella was our realtor both times and he was awesome. Louis was very receptive to our needs and was extremely helpful and honest, not to mention extremely knowledgeable of the local market and the ins and out of real estate. Through the hard decision making process, Louis was patient and offered his advice, even if that meant the process would take longer. Many realtors want you to buy a home but Louis wanted us to buy the perfect home and one we could be happy with. The rest of the Cheney Group folks were outstanding during the process all the way through closing. I am definitely using them next time and would recommend them for your real estate needs in the Frisco and North Dallas area.

We listed our house with Jeff and had 6 offers within a week. We ended up selling quite a bit over list price. He and his group are very professional and very good at what they do. Without doubt, we would use them again if we sold our new house. We used one of the people in his group to look for an existing house as well and were extremely impressed with her. When my wife and I were thinking about buying a new home, some of our friends who had just sold and purchased a home raved about The Cheney Group. Not really so knowing how to begin the process of buying a home while we owned a home, we called and Jeff Cheney came out to our home and thoughtfully explained the process. He hand-selected some buyers agents for us, Louis & Nikki DiBella. From the get-go, we loved working with the DiBellas. They took the time to show us homes and really listen to our needs and desires. We had many conversations and sometimes those were after hours but they were always extremely responsive, helpful, and encouraging. The DiBellas did an amazing job in the negotiations of purchasing our new home. We are thrilled with it. Louis is extremely detailed and focused on all the pros and cons of a home. He took the inspections very seriously and pointed out every potential flaw so we could make an informed decision. Nikki was tremendous at communicating and helping us get through the emotional roller coaster of buying a home. Together they just make such a great team. On the listing side, Jeff and his team were extremely professional and helpful. Jeff is a very skilled negotiator and knows the market like no one else. He helped us find an appropriate listing price and we ended up selling the house for a little more than we thought we would in about 2 weeks.
