TERRIBLE SERVICE. Their Internet and phones went down during my stay so i needed to checkout earlier. I originally booked 3 nights and only stayed 1 due to the outage. They told me they would credit me the two nights. This is all documented. However this is an Ongoing issue since 4/24 ( 5 months) of incorrectly charging me two nights that I didn t stay there. They Finally just credited 1 night last week because of my bbb complaint but Refuses to take ownership of both nights. Per Expedia Apparently the manager is supposed to approve this and has yet to call me or email me back. Every time I call this hotel they say the manager is unavailable and will be back the next business day. I put in a claims case with corporate as well. Very un hospitality, very unethical. Will never do business with this hotel again. DO RIGHT BY YOUR CUSTOMERS

HORRIBLE!!! We have stayed in Holiday Inns across the country. We usually stay in the Holiday Inn at Toyota Stadium in Frisco. Due to soccer tournaments they didnt have a room we needed. We are always happy at that Holiday Inn. This holiday inn at Legacy Park has to be the nastiest! Floors and carpets were dirty, the elevator looked as thought it hadnt been cleaned in months. Floor was dirty, the stainless steel was so nasty with hand prints and spilled items. The 2nd floor had a strange smell as though someone was cooking food. Our room floor wasnt clean. The carpet was nasty. Corners and edges looked as though they hadnt seen a vaccum in months. Trash and dirt along the bathroom wall between the wall and bathroom vanity. The toilet was ridiculous! It is so low and small you are almost on the floor! The inside of the bathrrom door had nasty hand prints and streaks running down it from a liquid. Handles filthy! We will never stay in this nasty place again!!

Do NOT stay at this hotel. If I could give zero or negative stars, I would. It is abysmal in countless ways. Our room came with no bathroom towels; had to retrieve our own at front desk. Shower drained was clogged. Bathroom tiles next to shower were loose and subfloor was caving in. Front desk help were very rude and unfriendly. Elevator floors were filthy with construction debris. Holiday Inn is usually quite good but not this one! Avoid it at all cost. Rooms: Bathroom shower was clogged and room came with no towels. Bathroom tiles had come loose and subfloor was creaking.

This is one of the worst hotels that we have ever stayed at. 1. You can see directly into the room through the closed door. See pictures. There is about a quarter inch separation when door is fully closed. Room 416 2. The comforter had a brown stain. The fitted sheet had an oil stain. The reception told us it was due to rust from their dryers. They gave us new sheets... yay... 3. Our room was very dirty. The restroom was filthy. Look at pictures 4. Calling reception is pointless. They never answer the phone. 5. Gym has no water. Water jug is empty, asked front desk to replace it, was told they have no water and shrugged their shoulders. Walked past the office where you can clearly see 3 new water jugs. 6. Elevators and halls are dirty Had to stay the night due to no vacancy at other hotels but left as soon as we found an opening. Must be bad management. This place is a dishonor to other Holiday Inns.

Dirty. They are remodeling the hotel so I would wait until they re finished to stay. Everything I saw outside the room was unkept, not vacuumed, scuffed, etc. Dirty. The room: The bathroom had some funky oily something on the whole floor. I had to spread towels down. I question if sheets were changed. Not dirty, per se, but had all the wrinkles as if someone slept on it. Room had an odd odor. Found a bug (not bed bug) on sheet. Found an unhidden phone cord on the floor. We had a three night stay booked but canceled after one. Photos: One elevator working and was filthy. Scuffs on every wall I saw. Un vacuumed floors everywhere.

Rahul helped us in the morning on Sunday with some issues we had at breakfast, both mornings breakfast was cold, things werent plugged in, the girl was on her phone loud and rude in the corner instead of doing her job, the milk was sour. Rahul addressed the problem immediately and we took our breakfast to the room to heat up in the microwave. Rooms: Nice beds!

I did not throughly research the reviews prior to staying here, which was a mistake on my part. I have previously had great stays at Holiday Inns nationwide and enjoy the free parking and free breakfast (as well as the opportunity to accrue IHG points). This area is well known to me (I usually stay at the Omni about a mile away), so I knew the location was good. The location was great and the employees were helpful and kind; however, this hotel is in need of some updates/cleaning. The star level could definitely be upgraded to a 3 star overall with just a deep clean of the property. Upon walking in, the uncleanliness of the hallway and elevator were the first things I noticed; however, there was a housekeeper actively sweeping the floor. I was pleased with the interior of the room I was assigned I did a thorough inspection for bedbugs, etc, and I was satisfied. Carpet appeared clean in the room as well. I went to the gym and I was NOT pleased with the equipment, as several weights were missing and there was minimal equipment available. The gym could also use a thorough cleaning, as everything in the room was in disarray, there were no cleaning wipes available, and the room just appeared dirty. Additionally, there was a water station but there was no water available! Upon waking up, we went to try out the breakfast bar. I was upset that the pancake machine was out of working order, but they seemed to otherwise have an okay selection. The bacon was good. I spit out the first bite of eggs I am not sure how you can mess up eggs, but they were absolutely awful! I would have rather eaten a boiled egg! The biscuit and gravy was cold, so I ended up skipping the breakfast. All of these reasons are why I scored this hotel a 2/5. Rooms: King bed room was adequate. Room was the cleanest experience at this hotel. Bed was comfortable. Noteworthy details: Subpar gym; facility in need of a deep clean; inedible breakfast

There is no real way to start this post except to say what I have to say and add my pictures from my stay. If I could have given zero stars I would have but the site will not allow a no response. So, with that being said if you are entertaining booking a reservation at this hotel STOP! This place is infested with very large cockroaches and bedbugs (see pictures). I told the lady and man at the front desk and they just looked at me and said they would have the hotel manager call me to discuss compensation (I ve not heard from anybody). My grandson was traumatized by the bugs. He refused to go to sleep and we ended up checking out early. I told the staff why I was checking out early and they could care less. Website pictures are false advertisement because the rooms and property look nothing like what they have posted on there website. The property outside smells like cigarettes and alcohol. They advertise cleanliness and sanitation. This is so far from the truth. The bathroom floor tile was cracked and broken every time you stepped on it. Crud in the corners of the sink and behind the faucet. Dead bugs behind the door smashed into the carpet. The sheets had stains on them too. Pictures from my stay are posted. If you look closely the cockroach is crawling on the ceiling and in the corner before it was killed. Not the mention the dead on under the bed skirt.

2nd time we stayed here. First time was last March. There s always been a commotion of some sort. Some guests were noisy during sleeping hours. Our recent 3 night stay, we experienced some bed bug bites. Upon check out, we told the front desk about it in a nice tone and showed her the rashes. Classic reply was, I ll let the housekeeper know. Not even sympathetic, not apologetic, no customer service at all. You can t pay for a place to stay just to be bitten by bedbugs. Will never stay here again. Also during this stay, some guests were loud again on the same floor. I guess this hotel is a noise magnet as well. One thing great I can say is breakfast/location are both good.

Smell is horrible, hallway floors dirty, holes in towels, sheets dirty, comforter has tears in it and mattress has something black all over it. A/C or heater made loud noise all night. Complained and get told, Oh you are only here for the night! Found 4 different kinds of pills in elevator and hallways. Turned them in and they asked Are these yours? Why would I turn them into the front desk if they were mine? Breakfast was cold and pretty gross!! 136.00 a night, I think I can find somewhere else much cleaner, nicer than this place!! The WiFi is horrible. It barely connects. We literally had to just use your own phone to connect. The refrigerator has a gross smell as if it wasn t cleaned out before. The tub still had hair in it. Come on now. The fact that this hotel looks like this with the way Covid was before is ridiculous. My son and I literally walked down the hall and the smell was horrendous. It smelled rotten. I had no choice but to stay here. But I won t be staying another night. I called my insurance company immediately and told them to find me a better hotel this one shouldn t even be around anymore.

Stayed at this hotel 2 nights for a sporting event. First walked in to this place and immediately regretted it! The ceiling was leaking water dripping right at the front desk for check in. Ceiling was warped and ripping throughout the hotel. Side door wasn t working, key stopped working 2 times during out stay with our room being on the 5th floor we had to go up then down which was very inconvenient with little children. One big thing, elevator has a MAJOR SAFETY ISSUE the sensors must be going out because my 6 year old daughter got SMASHED in the doors when we were leaving. She was carrying her large blanket so luckily that saved her from getting injured. The door just kept closing and making a loud beeping noise while it was closed on her, I had to pry the door open! Made a report at the front desk, left my info, got an I m sorry, you ll hear from our manager and never heard from anyone. This will be the LAST holiday inn I ever stay at! I ll definitely be sticking to Hilton hotels as they are always up to par.

update: After getting the generic response from the Hotel assistant manager and being ignored afterwards, I escalated to the Corporate level........WOW! Now that was customer service! I was nicely compensated and promised that the issues I brought to their attention would be dealt with. I believe in second chances so I will check to see if their short comings have been taken care of. Original review: Our visit started with a pre check in online. I do this to expedite the actual check-in process. My ID and CC are usually just confirmed, and sometimes CC is ran for their little store. This location or the individual was inept in the process and made it longer than Ive ever experienced before. I asked where all the luggage carts were. Mind you, its 3:30 PM. Response: Was we only have one, really? For a hotel this size, its ridiculous . After carrying all our luggage in while checking from time to time to look for the luggage cart, we settled in. We had parked near the NW door as it was the closest to our room. That doors card reader doesnt work, so we used the NE door. What next I thought , this door is unsecured! Does not lock! Our room door has noticeable damage from a forced entry or attempted one. They glued and taped it! We didnt feel safe, but Im a 2nd A guy, so we stayed. The room carpeting had large stains on it. I requested daily trash emptying and towels replaced. I had to repeat that 3 times during our 5-day stay. Two days in the internet went down and was never fixed before we left. Not even an English speaking person minding the front desk one time when I was requesting again my room be taken care of like I requested. Then I discovered why the luggage cart was so hard to locate, and housekeeping was using it. I saw it when walking by their room. Front desk staff, for the most part, is slow and apathetic. Im a Platinum Elite member and was not recognized as such during check-in. I asked the young lady if she was forgetting anything, she said no. I asked again, and no was the response. I told her I was A Platinum Elite member. Rather than an immediate apology, I got Its not my fault, the screen didnt show me. Wow, customer service 101. A lot of diversity and equity hires and questionable ownership. Positives: Location, gym, entry and and common area for breakfast. Food not so much! I can not recommend this hotel. We were extremely disappointed and would not return. Noteworthy details: Not secured

Best decision ever. Nearby activities: We came here from Houston to see the Harry Potter Experience.

Went to the second room which was across from the ice machine- people really do get ice all night, room didnt look like it had been cleaned in a while there were little black seeds? All over the carpet and the tub was dripping water and stained, too tired to mess with asking for another room, the TV controller does not work if you just press the power button as that turns TV but not cable? Took a while to get that straight, then we put something in the microwave to heat and the power strip behind the 500lb tv, mini frig/ dress blew - guess you can use the microwave and TV at the same time took a while to move the dresser to reach the power strip and reset it , called the desk they said they could have maintenance come in the morning ?? I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Frisco with my family. I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the experience we had during our stay on November 4th, 2023. Upon checking in, we discovered that the room assigned to us, despite being labeled as clean, was not in an acceptable condition. I brought this to the attention at the reception desk, who, after verifying the rooms availability, found that it had a heavy cigarette smoke odor. Unfortunately, as alternative options were limited due to other hotels being fully booked, we reluctantly accepted the room, not wanting to separate our children. I was assured by the desk receptionist that April or Amber would contact us by November 8th, 2023, to discuss the inconvenience we faced. Regrettably, as of today, we have not received any communication from either April or Amber. I understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise, but the lack of follow-up has left us feeling disappointed and unattended to. We believe our experience was substandard, especially considering there was sufficient time to address and rectify the issues with the room before our arrival. This is not a kid friendly Hotel and with that being said, I give it a 1 star. Wish the Management could do something to encourage us and others that this is a family friendly hotel but after 2 weeks of no communication. I see this is how Holiday Inn runs their business. Never again. Rooms: SMELL LIKE HEAVY CIGARETTE SMOKE! NOT A KID FRIENDLY!

I want to commend the staff at the Holiday Inn Express in Frisco at the 3400 Parkwood, Frisco, TX. I really enjoyed my stay at the Holiday Inn, everyone was great regarding the staff. And I must comment Mason in the kitchen area. Mason made sure we had everything on the menu. If you asked him questions about something, he made sure he answered what you ask him. Everyone in his staff was great also. And the staff at the Holiday Inn was friendly and very nice even the cleanup crew. And that makes me want to come back next year. Keep up the good work.

Was hoping to leave an average review upon my departure this week. However while getting breakfast this morning an watching the lady bringing put the sausage an drop one on the floor an then use the tongs to pick it up off the floor an then use the same tongs to put sausage in the food tray an leave tongs there for people to use to get the sausage. That is very disgusting an unhygienic. Big no with the health department. There has already been a couple of issues since weve been here an were considering extending the stay. However now we are not so sure. Time of the incident was around 8:20am if you would like to very on your cameras. I will update the ratings and details after we check out with all the issues we have encountered here on our stay here.

Rooms: I stayed a few days. Everything was dingy and old. There was a low, wide chest of drawers by the bed that had a drawer that would not stay closed. Since it was opposite the bed, it narrowed the available passing space and was a hazard to navigate. I was watching TV one evening when suddenly the TV, microwave, cable box, and fridge shut off as if a breaker switch had been shut off. I called downstairs several times; no answer. I had to go downstairs to alert the staff. Long story short, all four things were plugged into one extension cord hanging behind the cabinet, and the cord loosened from the wall plug. (I think it was progressively loosened by the impact of the AC turning on because it was very loud, startling, and vibrating every time it came on. It had just come on when everything shut off.) A staff member had to come up to reach back there and plug it back in. I pointed out the drawer that wouldnt close and he basically said it was a known problem. There are lots of things in the hotel that need updating, for sure. Also, my room was by the ice machine so I heard it dripping all night when things were quiet. Very annoying. My sheets appeared to be clean and fresh, and the AC cooled well, so that was good. Safety: The hotel side door did not close unless you made the effort to pull it shut. Food and drinks: I enjoyed the breakfast. There was a variety of items, both hot and cold. Noteworthy details: The location was excellent and the staff were polite.

Dont let the nice location fool you. The negative reviews are true. I booked here & cancelled after walking into this hotel. I didnt get a nice welcome. The manager April & another lady at the front desk were very rude. Apparently this hotel doesnt have stairs for the guests to use. A few minutes later they somehow got stairs that only go up to the 2nd floor They thought it was odd that I wanted to see a room before checking in. I said after seeing all of the negative reviews, I wanted to check it out first. Then I was basically told to leave by saying have a nice day in a rude sarcastic tone.

When I asked if someone could fix the shower I was told, We don t have a maintenance man today. I booked a handicap accessible room with a walk in shower. Instead we got a regular tub and the shower was broken. The beds were so tall that my elderly mother couldn t even get in bed. Unacceptable for a handicap accessible room. The room was so hot we could hardly sleep. The staff could not have cared less. If I could give negative stars, I would.

Checked in at 1:00 am on Friday , booked room from Thursday to Sunday, first room bathroom shower broken so I informed front desk and a kind employee who was in front desk gave me another room , came in the second room and found like 10 cockroaches in 2 minutes all over thr room and it was huge in size. Again front desk gave me another room ... No issues yet , employee at the front was kind enough to keep giving me new room.. Like we discussed via phone conversation, my name is John Daniel , I stayed the last room number we stayed was at 422. Later we found more cockroach at the lobby mens bathroom , we found a huge (may be Texas special size ) at room number 422 bathroom as well. Swimming pool was was one of the dirtiest I ever seen in my life .. looks like vomit on all corners of the pool water . Just need to maintain pool and needs to have a better pest control then this hotel was a cool one , Breakfast was a decent one ... Rooms: Bad order in room Safety: in the room

I have never had a poorer experience in the hospitality industry. I have left maybe 3 bad reviews in my life and in general, do not rock the boat, but this stay cannot go unreviewed. I have stayed at Motel 6 s which are 5-star compared to this place. Firstly, it took forever to check-in. Second, when we entered our room the free-standing dresser was leaning to the side. We asked the front desk person if there was anything maintenance or anyone could do about it. He came and checked on it and when he moved it, it broke he did not bat an eye and told us when we asked about the possibility to change rooms, he said first of all, NO, and we should stay here because quote, We were lucky because there are some people in the building who have no AC. ! We were flabbergasted but we tried to stay positive and just asked if the maintenance crew could come later and just accepted it. He said they would not come until tomorrow as it was their day off, but he did not know if they would make it to us due to the backlog of issues. We were still peeved but we just shrugged it off. Then we noticed one of the beds was broken and sagged in the middle. Again, we just moved on. Then one person in our party wanted coffee in the morning. The coffee maker did not work and spilled hot, coffee flavored water everywhere except the cup. We had to use all but 2 hand towels to mop it up. They almost refused to give us more towels even though we told them what happened. We had 4 women in the room, we needed more towels even if that fiasco did not happen. After asking and pleading, they gave us 2 body and 2 hand towels. We got ready for the day, took some breaths, and looked forward to going out and coming back to perhaps at least a few new towels and our old, drenched towels taken away, which we left in an area of the bathroom accessible to the cleaning staff but not were it would make the whole floor slippery and endanger the cleaning staff. I am not trying to pat ourselves on the back, I am just trying to emphasize that we do not as individuals ever blame desk or floor workers unnecessarily that are trying to do their job especially when they are not being rude. This is clearly a management and owner issue but I will mention some workers were just stone-faced and very annoyed that guests were asking for help and requesting towels. Apparently, we were not the only hotel guests having issues. That being said, we came back from a long day to damp towels still there, a broken dresser, and no sign any staff had been there at all. On top of all these issues the shower drain was broken, the handicap-accessible ramps were very unsafe (lots of cracks and uneven sidewalks as well as not a well-lit parking lot). I mention this because they also were unable to give us a handicap-accessible room and one of our members has a broken leg even though we asked ahead of time. At one point we considered asking for a refund and going to another hotel, but our stay was non -refundable, which was made VERY CLEAR by the staff. We have stayed at this hotel since I was a kid and we had not been back in a while. Now I am in my early 20s and coming here with my elderly parents and I am very disappointed at how this place has fallen from its heyday. I would never recommend this hotel and I would suggest anyone to go to the 6-7 nearby hotels instead of this one that are 10 dollars more but have fully working AC, beds, staff, and accessible rooms. I do not know who the new owners are, but it is unacceptable to open a half-working hotel with a host of issues (AC, furniture, staff, number of accessible rooms etc) and not only just accept it but also have them pay full price (around 110 a night), get annoyed when guests get frustrated when everything goes awry. If there was a lower score, I would choose that. Safety: The parking lot lights are not all in working order and the hotel is far from ADA-compliant.

Upon checking in to a fully paid reservation, I provide a card for incidentals and get charged $928. Front desk figured it out, and removed the transaction. Ive been here 10 days. House keeping came in once. Ive asked for housekeeping several times for new towels etc. 3 days in a row. Nothing. I ask the front desk, Is housekeeping scared of covid, or work? I cant get new towels. Did they throw out your garbage? No, I already did that. Worst experience in a while. Came from aloft down the street, had to stay here due to being overbooked. I always avoided holiday Inn and IHG in general. Hilton or Marriott is such a better choice. Thanks for reminding me.

We have multiple people in our group for a baseball tournament who booked online and had confirmation numbers for rooms. When we got to the hotel they only had 3 rooms left. Tracy the front desk clerk told us that even though everyone had confirmation numbers of our bookings it is first come first serve. We told her that makes no sense. I told her the reason you make a reservation is so you have a room when you arrive. She said that s not how it works. One couple in our group was given a room and when she opened the door there was someone in the room. There was a couple behind our group that had a reservation and told them while we were STILL standing there, she was looking for them a room. I cannot believe l witnessed this! She never one time told our group she would look for us a room. I have NEVER in all my life made a reservation at a hotel, get there and the room not be available. When I told Tracy this she said all the hotels work like this. It was apparent she didn t know what to say so instead of being honest, calling a manager, doing WHATEVER it took to take care of the customers she lied and said that s just the way hotels work . We travel ALOT with our baseball team and I can promise you will NEVER stay in a Holliday Inn again!!

The free breakfast was tasty, with lots of good choices. The room was clean, and the bathroom was mostly clean, but not 100%. The bathroom door and mirror needed some attention. There was no bench for my suitcase, so I put it on the desk, since I didnt plan to use it. The shower curtain was too short, so lots of water went onto the floor. There were no plates at breakfast on the first morning, because they ran out, so I had to use a small bowl. No plates on the second morning either. I guess I should have gotten there earlier.

Do NOT stay here. Poor customer service by the front desk staff. The lady doing the breakfast was very nice. Had to change rooms after the first night. Air didn t work good and the tv was not working. Was told she would send maintenance up to check on tv. No one ever showed up. Miserable all night. Put in another room the next day and was told she would take a night off my bill. I stayed 5 nights. No credit was given. The next room had no remote for the tv. She said she would send someone up with a remote. Never came. After 3 hours I went down to get one. Needed tissue. Called and the front desk said I had to come get it myself. One morning the maid was outside my room when I was leaving and I asked if she would put some clean towels in my room. She said yes. Returned 7 hours later and no clean towels. I just had no understanding about that. She was right there. I was there for 5 nights and was very uncomfortable and disappointed. I will never stay there again. I will pay the extra money for better accommodations. Oh..the breakfast was awful. No water or juice. Just coffee. Not a coffee drinker and would have preferred water or juice.

Will never make the mistake of booking a room here again.. The lady who answered when I called at 10pm tonight to let them know I was running late for my reservation was very short in the way she answered the phone, not welcoming or polite AT ALL, then with a very ugly attitude proceeded to tell me she would not allow check in because they were overbooked. When I said we had a confirmed reservation, she cut me off before I finished and said we should have received an email or text telling us we wouldnt have a room - which we did not. Before I could finish asking if we needed to contact IHG, she hung up on me mid-sentence. There was not a single pleasantry and very unprofessional. Ive never had such an experience with HIE in over 30 years of patronizing the chain. After reading all the other reviews now, I think its time this particular location was taken out of the loop or provided better management! I hope this establishment is not someones FIRST experience with the chain because it would definitely prevent me from trying another if I didnt already know them better!

Lost a Diamond Elite member. Someone call Hotel Impossible! Ive been coming here near weekly for 2yrs. The front desk agents have always been very friendly and helpful- (no complaints from me there). They have not had the support they truly need the last couple of years (I think they are on the 4th or 5th GM- at least). They have been short staffed for a long time (mgmt would tell you that it is hard to find people but Ive stayed at other nearby hotels and they are VERY clean and fully staffed). The front desk staff has been pulling double/triple duty for far too long. I believe it is 100% a mgmt failure. I really feel bad for the staff. Rooms: Some rooms are good but others are still needing repair. Safety: Its been better recently but its not unusual to find the side door wedged open at night. The smell of weed is not uncommon either. Food and drinks: The breakfast bar has finally opened the last couple of months but it is not unusual for food to run out. Noteworthy details: I had a reservation last night in the Frisco, TX Holiday Inn express. This is a hotel that I stay at for 2 nights a week for nearly every week the last 2 years. I have been VERY patient with the numerous GM changes and renovations over that time. I showed up for my reserved room last night (9pm) and I was told my room had been sold to someone else (and that corporate did it) because there is an event in town. After the desk agent made numerous calls, I was told to make another reservation on the app because now there is a room. They gave me another room but the door was open (as in not closed), there was urine in the toilet, the shower had just been used, the bed not made, and the room was a mess I was left to walk around outside (in the cold at 10pm) from 1 hotel to the next to find another place to stay. I was told to come back today and they would reimburse me for the cost. I showed up today and was told we dont do that and my room was not canceled by them. Last night was no way for a Diamond Elite member to be treated.

There was no coffee that was supposed to be served for breakfast and there were some small problems so I told the female staff at the front desk. Then she said to me, Im here and I cant solve the problem. Tell someone else, she said. This is the woman at the front desk on the morning of Friday, March 24th. isnt she crazy? What was she thinking as she sat there? I think its the first time Ive ever had the worst of all the old, dirty, and unkind things Ive used at Holiday Inn. Its not worth even one star. Horrible!

Honestly the WORST hotel experience I have had in 25+ years. They overbooked, we booked a double bed room for our regionals basketball tournament in Feb. 2023 and they only had kings left. We ended up getting the last king room available. Upon check-in they gave us a room that was already OCCUPIED. My son opened the door and startled an elderly lady wondering why he was coming into her room. Fortunately her security latch was on or he would have walked all the way in. Came back and got reassigned another room and much to our delight, UNOCCUPIED. Had to run to Walmart late that night to pick up an air mattress since there was only one king bed for the four of us. I wish this was the last of it, but nooooooooo. So many issues like a bad movie that starts out bad but only gets worse; no hot water the first night, cable TV did not work, only picked up trash and changed out towels 1 night out of 4 nights. For breakfast there was no water, juice machine was out of order. Ran out of everything. Our last day when tournament was over and our ONE opportunity to sleep in, hotel clerk started banging on our door at 7am Sunday morning saying our credit card on file was denied. Keep in mind, I already went through this upon check-in informing them the credit card on file was cancelled due to fraud and I gave them my new card to scan and went through fine. So I come down later only to find out he was able to charge the room on the valid card that was on file. I said to him, would have been nice if he had done that to begin with instead of banging on our door at 7am in the morning waking everyone up. He just looked away, said nothing, no apology or anything. Our entire basketball team booked a large block of rooms for the week and so many lost their double bed rooms to only kings. There were many reports of issues from howling dog noises, roaches, bed bugs, water leaking through ceiling, broken in room coffee makers, moldy, mildew smells, dirty sheets, leaky faucets, roll away bed promised but not provided, rude front desk clerks, dirty, unclean rooms, doors that dont lock properly, sewage smells, cold breakfast food, overwhelming chemical smells, faucets falling off, shower curtains too short resulting in soaked bathroom floors, key cards not working and having to be re-programmed constantly, access to fitness limited since key card did not work. Needless to say we will never stay at this hotel again, by far the worst hotel experience we have ever had!

We love Holiday Inn Express and have stayed at their locations all over the US. Their hotels are updated, clean and great services. Unfortunately, we have now discovered a broken link in their chain of hotels in Frisco, TX. This hotel was a great disappointment for us. Upon checking in, we had to stand there too long waiting for two employees to finish their conversation. Upon getting into our room lots of things were not in order. The microwave number buttons didnt work, both the toilet and bathtub were leaking and one of three lights in the bathroom was burned out. Worse yet, upon taking a shower the next morning, no bar soap is offered but a body wash pump attached to the bathtub wall. The container had soap in it but the pump was broken. I had to set out of the shower to use the hand soap pump attached to the wall by the sink instead just to take a shower. The next morning we went down to breakfast at 8:30 am (breakfast ran till 9:30 am) and the coffee dispensers were empty. We requested more coffee but nothing was done about it while we were there eating our breakfast. Then upon retuning to our room and crossing the front lobby, someone had just wet mopped the slick, tile floor with no warning sign on display. The wet tile ran all the way to the elevators. The guy mopping shrugged his shoulders and said, Well, there is not really a good time to mop. Obviously, causing a wet, slick floor during breakfast and check-out times had to be the worst time to do it. Upon checking out there was no one at the check out counter. Finally, someone showed up, not in any kind of front desk uniform and helped us check out. Upon asking for a printed receipt, she had to disappear into the staff offices to get the printer on the front desk to print us a receipt. Overall, a very disappointing experience. Is there no management involved in this runaway hotel?

Secondly Room Service I came to the front desk and asked about the room cleaning and they said that we need to request for Cleaning.. i requested constantly for 2 days No housekeeping came for cleaning.. I went downstairs and complained to the GM named Sam .. And explained him the situation and he promised that it will be done today.. The lady on the front desk had only Apology for me I am very upset and paid $ 90 per night for the worst service..

Worst Hotel Ever! They do NOT clean daily, you have to ask them a day before each day you want your room cleaned. Signs for Business Center present with arrows, but they do NOT even have a business center. Front desk people have an attitude, whether its the day or night shift. Night shift was rude and asked me why I waited until night time to ask for clean towels. Like really? Keys deactivated multiple times during the stay (and no I didnt put them next to my cell phone). We have to ask for the room to be cleaned and then when we ask for towels you give us an attitude? You might as well live in the woods. First room the TV wouldnt work and had no clean towels so we had to change rooms. When I let them know the TV didnt work they gave me an attitude again and looked at me like I was stupid (they have a two step system that no other hotel Ive ever stayed at has, but they expected me to know this. Second room had a malfunctioning AC unit and the shower faucet didnt not close properly unless you turn the handle really tight which was a bit painful. Management at this site is terrible. Ill be forfeiting my points and never stay at a Holiday Inn again. I cant believe they allow this low quality place to be in Frisco.

Second time shower did not work third time got put in a room with no blinds on it and to top it off they did construction on the fourth floor the days that we were there so we had our room full of sand and dust and felt like we were in a construction zone will not stay again. My company booked rooms for us there. The rooms were to be charged to the company credit card which was given to the hotel during booking and upon check in. One of our employees checked out early and later that day she noticed she was charged for her room. Our company got it sorted out and the charges were reversed. The company requested that all charges need to go on the corporate card for the rest of us checking out the next day. The next day comes and goes and I notice I was charged as well, even after my company provided what they needed to in order to pay for all the rooms. I called the hotel on 12/15 @ 11:53 am asking why this happened, again. The lady said that my company would need to call with the company card information if the charges are to be reversed in my bank. I asked why this needed to happen again when we had already gone through this to make sure nobody else was charged. She said fine, dont have your company call us...the charges will stick and then she hangs up on me. If you are the manager at this location and reading my review, please look to see who was working at the front desk on 12/15 @ 11:53 am. They do not represent your location well and definitely not Holiday Inn as a company. They have zero customer service skills and should not be the first person you meet when entering your hotel or the person you talk to when calling there. You can leave me your number and we can have this discussion over the phone if youd like, thank you.

This place was an under managed dump. We had to change rooms but unfortunately they were basically in the same condition. The toilets wouldnt flush without holding down the handle. No mattress cover on mattress and the sheets were so thin they were almost transparent. The second room they gave us had a floor that was caving in and they put chunks of particle board underneath the TV cabinet to level it up. The rooms were very nasty. They had an older as if the carpet was never vacuumed. The walls, doors, curtains and fixtures in both rooms had stains on them. Wallpaper peeling off the walls in the bathroom. The first room didnt have a desk chair. Neither room had handsoap, toilet paper other than the half roll that was on the spool. Neither room had a suitcase caddy. There was no other location to put your suitcase other than taking up the single chair that was in the room. The air conditioning system was broken in the first room. The Continental breakfast was not up to Holiday Inn Express standards. Not very appetizing to look at. They did not even have the traditional cinnamon rolls that you get from Holiday Inn Express. The microwave was so disgusting, it looked like something you would see in a shade tree mechanic shops breakroom. The second day the lady that runs the dining area was standing there and I opened up the microwave and made a sound of disgust of how nasty it was. She didnt say anything. The 3rd day I looked and it was just as bad as the the first day. We ended up buying breakfast to eat in the room for the rest of our stay. This is only a small portion of the list that I accumulated for this particular hotel. For many years we have been going to Holiday Inn Express hotels when we can find one close to our trips agenda because we were always impressed with the cleanliness the professionalism and of course the continental breakfast with its famous cinnamon rolls. We typically go out of town at least six times a year. For the past couple of years weve had issues with Holiday Inn Express at various levels and I believe this last experience that we had in Frisco Texas broke the back on us every going to a holiday in express in the future.

All that said, not bad for the price.

Wish I had read the reviews before booking....This hotel is not at the caliber of others in the area. To start, the room booked had a toilet not even attached to the floor...letting sewer gases back into the room...had a maintenance man come in and repair (2.5 hrs), the drawers on the cabinet in the room continually fell open and we had to wedge a hanger in them to keep them from falling open. The ice machines didnt work on the floor. Tiles loose on the floor in bathroom. Racks on the wall were about to fall off the wall....with only two towels on it. Air conditioner worked off an on....took a long time to cool the room. Breakfast items were completely out except for some runny eggs and gravy....took 30 min to get bacon back in the bin. If you had a haul of clothes or bags to take to the room, well, bring a wagon with you....youll need it because they didnt have any carts available (granted this may be due to the ignorance of the people staying there holding them in their room as their own). On a good note....the receptionist on the morning shift (I believe name was Terri) was pleasant....she was empathetic and tried everything in her power to comfort. Still waiting to resolve the charges on the room with all the issues.

The hotel just denied on our face that they cant accommodate us. This is not the way A IHG hotel works. Surprising also the IHG Guest relations is not helping, The hotel management never called or never ever tried to fix this issue. Its not good for hotels of IHG brand in future where they cant help the guests who drove 400 miles for a weekend. Really its a shame on the hotel management and IHG management team.

Rooms need a lot of TLC. For example the tiles in the bathroom aint attached to the floor anymore, spiderweb in corners, a room phone that does not work, hot water that only can be described as hell hot. The pool is closed. The sheets are stained. The afternoon kids that run the desk just sit there and play on their phones. Its a nice hotel from the outside but the devil is in the details. I will never stay here again. But lets end on a positive. The coffee is hot and the night lady at the desk and the lady who makes the morning food are super nice and good people. Best part of the hotel.

The staff including Tori, Rae, Teri & Soniah (spelling?) were wonderful, it became our home away from home. The breakfast was excellent. The price was super, we are on a fixed income and this Holiday Inn Express made our trip possible compared to other hotels in the area. I would recommend staying here.

DO NOT stay at this hotel. I would rate it Zero stars if it would allow me to. This was by far the worst managed, unclean hotel I ve ever been to. When I checked in, Ya Ya (the front desk night manager) warned me of how bad the conditions were and told me if I was unhappy with my room, she would not charge my card. She even gave me a cancellation confirmation number, yet lied and charged my card regardless. We left after having looked at the first 3 rooms she attempted to put us in. These rooms had dried blood and dried snot on the linen, fresh makeup on the pillow cases, broken tiles falling off the walls, toilets that wouldn t flush, an air conditioner that wouldn t work, and NO HOT WATER. Pictures to prove it all. And after all this, telling me they understood and offering a written cancellation confirmation, they charged me for NOT staying there anyway!! Absolutely disgusted with this wanna-be motel so much that I will never stay at another Holiday Inn! Their ratings and reviews given over the last year is what you should pay attention to.

Ive come to expect a certain level of comfort and service at Holiday Inn Express locations. They are not fancy, but they are consistent. This one did NOT meet these standards. The pool and fitness room were under construction, something that would have been nice to know ahead of time. The elevators had decals on the inside of the doors that had been partially ripped off. The door to my hotel room looked like it had been forced open at some point, and the cable didnt work. I called down to the front desk, and the lady who answered the phone said she couldnt help because she was the only employee in the hotel. The water coming out of the sink was a mere trickle, and the shower curtain didnt reach down far enough. The one positive thing I can say is that the air conditioner worked very well. The following morning, breakfast was very disappointing. The only cereal available was Raisin Bran, and there was no milk. Another guest asked an employee about the milk and was told they were out because they were waiting for a delivery. Five minutes later, the employee came in with a box of milk cartons. There was no waffle or pancake maker, but lots of syrup packets, a canister of uncooked oatmeal, and frozen orange juice cartons. There were biscuits, at least, and they were good, and eggs and bacon were added to empty food containers while we were enjoying our biscuits. The location of the hotel was nice, but I will not be staying here again.

Could be a great place but needs some TLC. They have a sign saying a renovation. But upon my outside view. It was more of a water remediation or mold remediation project. Clearly has some water issues from somewhere. My first room smeld musty and bathroom floor was spongy and felt like i was going to fall through. 2nd room bathroom tile was loose and clealy had some water problems. After the morning shower the floor was soaked. Due to curtain not being low enough and water gets on edge of tub and runs to floor rather into the tub. Coffee was cold, makeshift breakfast setup was poor. Next, fruit flies everywhere. No idea where they came from. I Like the location. Just not what i would expect from an IHG branded hotel.
