We held a customer dinner at LA Parisienne with 25 of us. Judy was our server, bartender, photo taker, menu interpretor, and smiling host. She did such a wonderful job making our evening experience top-notch. I would hire her to represent my restaurant if I had one. This restaurant is decorated wonderfully and would be great for date night or a family dinner. The food was so good that everyone at our large table got very quiet as we began to eat. Eyes were rolling, and heads were nudding with such pleasure as we completely enjoyed our meal. Every option was cooked to perfection with flavors that melted in your mouth. Come here, and you will see for yourself.

Inattentive staff who seemed more interested in being on their phones than service. Tea lukewarm and watered down. Pastry fell apart in hand. Out of inventory with most of their desserts. Food tasted pre-cooked and reheated. For all the requirement of dress code, time limit, and reservation, this establishment does not merit its price or hype. Very disappointing experience.

Really wanted to like this place and was looking forward to it, but our experience was nothing to rave about. The atmosphere of the restaurant was quite nice and appealing, and we had two friendly servers. Youre given a menu to pick your tea option, and there was a good selection to choose from. When tea service came, upon removal of my napkin from my teacup, I saw a crawling in it. It was very off-putting, and thankfully I didnt scream. Our server was quick to remove the cup and replace it with a new one. But unfortunately, my appetite was ruined. The tower of sandwiches and pastries looked nice. The savory options were minimal, and the sweets looked better than they tasted. I did enjoy the tea, despite the initial experience with my cup.

I booked for a bridal shower celebration. The customer service wasn t very good and the restaurant sat us in an area where it was hot by the large windows. 11 women were sweating inside an air conditioning environment. I constantly had to get up to see where my server is at. I thought it was a three star because the atmosphere was setup nicely but service needs to be better especially if it s a private event reservation.

Everyone seemed to really like the food and the cocktails were picture perfect in addition to actually being really tasty. Would definitely recommend this place for afternoon tea or special occasions! Parking: Parking is a little confusing if you ve never been to the area before but there are free parking lots surrounding the area and it s a short walk to the restaurant.

Its Sunday and Im out to treat myself. As I reviewed the menu on line, I had a good idea of what I wanted to order. Did not have a reservation but they had small two tops in the bar area which worked fine for me as I was solo. The service was attentive. The food was ok. The visual for me revealed a desperate need for a deep clean and a total refresh of the interior. As I was in the bar area, I first noticed the seats at the bar which were in need of replacement with the edges worn and tattered . Most patrons likely come for the tea experience so maybe the decor is not that important. I, myself, like an upscale look if Im spending over $50 for a brunch for one. The restaurant was covered in greenery but it was all fake and reminded me of a few neighborhood Italian places Ive been to. Most were plastic which is the worst while some were bad silk versions. With some work and money put back into the restaurant, it could have some longevity here where there are many options to dine.

I have been there several times however was disappointed to bring this time my girl friends to celebrate a birthday tea party. The price we paid was subjected to provide a wonderful experience that was absolutely not met. More than half of the tea selection was not in stock. The AC was not working which deferred us to completely enjoy the whole experience. I will say, the waiters were kind and responsive however, it is the food and heat that was unbearable. We did not want to cause a scene at that time in order to respect our friend s special day, however when we spoke about it kindly to the manager, he was very dismissive of everything! To me, this is unacceptable. Please take accountability of your actions. It is okay to have bad days, we all suffer from it. It is absolutely not okay to deny all chain of events in row.

I m very disappointed with my recent visit. Despite the sweltering Texas heat, one of the air conditioning units was not working. A heads up, or an offer to reschedule our reservation would have even appreciated. On top of AC units, they were out of at least three tea options, and the bread served on the sandwiches was dry and stale. Most of the tea options were sweet and for $59/person afternoon tea, I expected far better. This was a letdown, especially as we were celebrating a friends birthday. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

My experience at this restaurant was incredibly disappointing. I waited a good amount of time without a greeting, and the manager, who was busy with another group, couldnt be bothered to extend the basic courtesy of greeting me or informing me that someone would be with me shortly. We were seated at a cramped corner table the air conditioning was barely workin. Despite requesting a cooler area, we were only moved to another side of the tea area, where one of my friends faced the kitchen. Given the Texas heat, it would have been courteous for the restaurant to inform us about the AC issues in advance. The food was stale, the tea was cold, and most tea options on the team menu were unavailable. It was my friends birthday, and the whole experience was ruined. When I called to address these issues, the manager was dismissive and rude, accusing me of lying about the quality of the food that we were served and refused to be accommodating in any way. 1 strongly advise against this restaurant. The food, service, and management were all subpar.

One of the AC units was out and was extremely hot and at times unbearable and had to go to restroom many times for air flow. There were 5 of us and out of the 5 teas we ordered 3 of them were out. Our sandwiches were stale and had a weird taste. Unfortunately didn t have a great birthday tea experience.

If Paris is the city of love, then La Parisienne must be where that love goes to die. Starting with the foie gras, I m convinced the chef has never met a duck in their life, let alone its liver. It tasted more like a science experiment gone wrong than the rich delicacy I was expecting. The crepe? Imagine soap in pancake form. Now imagine that it s not as good as it sounds. As for the brie and bread, well, the brie was as uninspired as a plain white wall, and the bread was so stale I almost mistook it for a historical artifact. I ve had more exciting experiences in my sock drawer. If you re looking for an authentic French dining experience, I d recommend booking a flight to Paris instead. At least you ll know where your money went.

We had reservations at 3 PM, the place was not busy, but we waited around 20 minutes to be seated. It was warm upon entering, which we initially thought was because of our walk outside. Upon being seated, we realized it was because there were A/C issues, and they had to use box fans. We would have appreciated a warning, given the price you pay for this experience. Our sandwiches were dry, and the bread tasted stale. The best part was the tea. We had a party of 4 adults and 2 kids and we were able to each get our own teapot to share. Overall, very disappointed with the experience given the $59 price point per person.

Our party of four reserved the afternoon tea ahead and went in on a Sunday morning. The place settings were beautiful, and they had a variety of teas to choose from. Each person is able to choose their preferred tea for their pot. We enjoyed every tea we tried during our visit. The sandwiches in the tea service were all very good, but the sweets/pastries could use some improvement. There wasnt much variety of flavor, and we overall didnt love most of them. I would definitely recommend going in the morning versus the afternoon, as it is much quieter and a more peaceful tea time. Our server Brin was excellent and had a very good sense of how often to check in. Overall, the afternoon tea is pretty good value, and the two hour time window wasnt a problem for our party. If the pastries and desserts offered in the tea were improved, it wouldve been a five-star experience for us.

Having been served many high teas, I wouldnt say the food was the best, but for a first experience or group event, it is just fine. The tea was the highlight of the meal. Well, let me start off by saying I was so excited for my high tea time. I use to do tea time with my friends in Scottsdale, Arizona and since we moved to Texas I havent found a spot until Instagram. My first Impression was the decor was cute but the spot was small. We were seated at our table and the decorations was cute. So, immediately began to take pictures when I realized we were right in front of the kitchen so the angle of my pictures would incorporate the kitchen door. I was disappointed but whatever. Next, we had to wait a while for our tea and the ones we wanted the were sold out. We could only choose 3 which was very disappointing because they were not the ones I wanted at all. Then the waiter brought our pastry dishes and knocked over the creamer and a few sandwiches fell. OK, no accidents happen no problem. It was cleaned up immediately and new sandwiches were made. But, then we notice flies and not just one but several. And it wasnt just us the table behind us was swatting at the flies/Nats as well. Then, we tried the sandwiches and the cucumber was OK. The ham sandwich has fat or something gross on it and the scones were so hard I could not even try to eat them. I was very disappointed. I have been to tea places before in Arizona and I had high hopes for this venue but was let down on so many levels. We paid 59.00 each not including gratuity whish ran between 12.00 to 15.00 per person for a group of 3. I dont mind paying for services that provided a great environment and services and this was not it. Also, we went to the ladies room at the end and it was Disgusting and it was flies in there as well. But we visit the establishment next door just to see if they had the same bug issue and they did not have the same experience.

My friend and I decided to host a small tea party for a few of our high school graduates. When she called to book the reservation she requested the tea party but when we arrived they did a regular booking so we were not able to get the tea party experience which was upsetting because we had everyone to dress in tea party attire. Our waiter wasn t pleasant. He came to the table and the first thing the young ladies asked was What drinks do you all have and he blurts out the drinks like he s annoyed by their question which is crazy because this was our first time here! So one of them asked if they could see the mocktails menu and he went to grab some and dropped them on the table and walked off without saying anything! We were let down by the reservation and the waiter didn t make the issue any better so we decided to leave. The manager tried to make it seem as we were angry and we wasn t we were disappointed. He offered to do the tea party but we had sent the young ladies on to another establishment because of the mistreatment. I told him before I do my negative review I wanted him to know first hand of the treatment and I believe that s why he tried to make it better but he had already approached us defending his waiter. Not sure if I would give them another try but surely wouldn t recommend if asked.

Looks like this place discriminates you based on your color or race or ethnicity! First time we experienced this kind of a discrimination ever living here. Even though the entire place was empty we were seated near the entrance saying tables are reserved. The lady who takes the order comes and tells you the cost of the drink we ordered even without being asked about the price ! Wanted to just walk out of that place and complain to the manager or owner but didn t want to spoil our weekend hence kept quiet. Hope this helps for the people who visit and what to expect here.

We had left a note that we were here to celebrate a 4 year olds birthday and he had her name on the birthday board, brought out a special firework candle and boxed gift for her. The food was great! And tea selection amazing! Individual tea pots for each person were kept heated with candles. Will definitely be revisiting. I was highly disappointed this was my 1st time going there. I made a reservation and was told I have to wait with no exact wait time, and if I took the table I was offered, I would have to hurry up and eat because another reservation party had a big group and would need my table. The manager never came to express any concerns, just a message thru the young lady at the door.

Service is slow and not the friendliest. Food is okay. Atmosphere during the Christmas holiday was nice but had to wait 25 minutes to be seated when we had made a reservation for afternoon tea. The week before we came for lunch and 5 minutes before our 2 hour allotment was up the manager asked when wed be leaving..wow, really cringeworthy, yet the next visit we had to stand in the tiny lobby for nearly 30 minutes PAST our reservation time...very annoying to say the least. I probably wouldnt go back. Server was scarce both times we came and manager didnt even come by the table the 2nd visit. Not worth the money, time and poor service for mediocre food and poor service. Dirty bathroom both times. Overrated in my opinion. Its okay for a one time afternoon tea experience. I did appreciate the Michael Aram tea service.

Passable food, lazy and inattentive service. We went on Bastille Day with our 3 year old only upon leaving the restaurant did we see a sign of Bastille Day specials (1/2 price drinks, free kids crepe with adult entree), none of which were ever mentioned by our server (Jesse). We weren t even seated with a drink menu and had to request one. Waited until our appetizers arrived to order entrees, yet the entrees still showed up before we were even halfway done with apps. The place wasn t even busy - they just obviously lack the fundamentals of a well-run restaurant. Also, the place next door (Common Table) for some reason blares rap / club music at 5:00 on a Sunday night and literally shakes the walls of La Parisienne. Overall terrible experience juggling too much food at once on a small table, struggling with the ambiance, and feeling ripped off at the end.

The ambiance of the French tea room was charming and elegant. The attention to detail in the décor and table settings added to the overall experience. We had the best server! Bryn s knowledge of the menu and his friendly demeanor enhanced our afternoon tea experience. He took the time to explain each tea and dish, making sure we were completely satisfied, and even more prepared to extra desserts for us on the house! The selection of teas was extensive, catering to all tastes and preferences. From classic Earl Grey to floral blends, each cup was brewed to perfection. The food was a delightful combination of savory and sweet treats, beautifully presented on tiered trays. The scones were warm and buttery, the sandwiches were fresh and flavorful, and the pastries were a work of art. Overall, La Parisienne exceeded our expectations in every way. The attention to detail, exceptional service, and delectable food made it a truly special occasion for my moms birthday. We left feeling pampered and content, already planning our next visit. Thank you, Bryn and La Parisienne French Bistro, for a memorable experience that we will cherish for years to come. We cant wait to return and create more beautiful memories.

It was also strong, loved it. Finished with omelette and eggs benedict w side of potatoes. No desserts finished of strong with more mimosas lol. Service was top tier. Jesse H was amazing. The service, however, was not great and on top of that- he was quite rude! We ordered 3 bottles of champagne for the table and had to open and serve 2 of the 3 ourselves. I ve been to Paris many times and as much as people say the Parisians are rude- this American waiter has the Parians beat! For spending over $700- we expected at least, the occasional and cursory how s everything? Can we get you anything else? He also told us (the entire large party) to leave because he needed space for the band to set up. Disappointed. Not worth the money.

Flip flops in Paris. First of all, our server Paulina was really great! Second, this is less of an authentic Parisian experience and more of a French-inspired Las Vegas experience. The interiors are kitsch at best. Tiffany blue upholstery proudly displays the body oil stains of every patron that s ever sat upon them amidst a jungle of cheap fake plants giving cemetery vibes. The chandeliers, umbrellas, and wallpaper mural are all pleasant individually, but presented together, they make you feel like you re on a cheap version of a Disney World ride through Alice in Wonderland s Mad Hatter tea party. My partner is Parisian, and he ordered a quiche Lorraine not realizing it was a poor American translation, replacing ham with way too much bacon and covered with a top crust of greasy, government-grade cheese, weighing down the egg. We communicated that it wasn t what we wanted or expected and sent it back almost whole but were charged for it anyway. After paying, the manager came over and asked how everything was; we gave him some insight on the quiche. He apologized and said thanks for the feedback. We paid for it, and we did not ask to have it taken off the bill. We weren t there to argue, but we believed offering to take it off the bill would have reflected better judgment by management. The cordon bleu wasn t bad mediocre at best. It s hard to mess up fries, so those were good. The swings in the front are falling apart. The Fornasetti plate display at the entrance was the best design element, but those are Italian, so whatever. We didn t have tea service or dessert, but I could see how it could be a fun spot to take tweenage girls for that kind of experience and that s about it.

Reply to owner: If that is the case, that you do not charge a cancelation fee except on Mothers Day, then you need to update your hostess on that policy because that is what I was told by them regarding your cancelation policy. Did not matter what day it was. They were very unhelpful and not the best communicator. If I were you, I would wonder how many people you have lost business wise because of incorrect information like this.
