Did not get to try the food. We had made a reservation the day before, but ended up arriving a little early. They said it was ok, as they were not super busy. We asked for a booth and they said they would clear it off and seat us right away. Not only did they not clear it off, several other guests arrived and were seated, even waited on by staff while we waited almost 15 minutes for a table that was still not cleared. We were asked by two other employees if we had been helped, which I appreciated, we said yes, assuming we would get to sit down soon. Nope. Never happened. I was super excited to try this place. Not only was it a special date night, it was my mom s birthday that passed and I needed a happy distraction. This was not it. Just made it worse. We ended up walking out and never getting the opportunity to see if the food was good. No one even tried to stop us. Super sad. I really wanted pizza!

We had such a great time at Pie Tap , thanks to our awesome server, Caesar! He was super friendly, funny, and made the whole experience so enjoyable. He kept us laughing the entire time and was really on top of everything. Its always nice when the service adds to the fun of the meal, and Caesar definitely did that. Well for sure be back!

Ive been coming here since this location opened pretty consistently. Food is always pretty good and service has always been spotty, but tonight might have been the final straw. Im typically a sit-at-the-bar kind of person as I prefer a low maintenance laid back dining (or to-go) experience. I live super close and often come in for a beer while waiting on a to-go order at the bar. Tonight I walked in to the bar with about a quarter of the seats filled, but all of the empty seats still unbussed with empty glasses and used dishes. No big deal, maybe I just walked in after a rush; however, after sitting down at one of the seats I was completely ignored. I sat patiently waiting for the bartender to notice I was there. When he finally walked over, he nodded at me and picked up the empty glasses in my spot and left. No offer for a drink (a menu?) or anything. I figured Id give it a couple of minutes in case he was wrapping up something else. He then went and closed out a couple sitting next to me, made a drink for one of the servers, and then began chatting with a few people. I continued to wait for a few more minutes, feeling kind of awkward, but literally no attempt was made to acknowledge me again. I finally just got up and left, feeling a little weird as the hostess at the front door noticed I had only been there about 15 minutes and was already headed out. Im always pretty non-confrontational in these situations, and this is probably the first negative review Ive ever left! While losing my business may not impact anyones bottom line, it is unfortunate that a pretty decent place (food-wise) doesnt enforce customer service a little more. Im really a low maintenance fly on the wall type of guy who really isnt that demanding, but it looks like Cane Rosso will now be my default pizza/pasta place in the neighborhood. So unfortunate, because I really liked this place, but if Im going to spend ~$40ish+ for a to go dinner and a beer, it would nice to be at least acknowledged.

Super impressed by the staff on a busy Friday night. Came in to pick up a to-go order and while I was waiting, four different people asked me if I had been helped yet - which may sound annoying to some people but to me is a huge GREEN flag. I appreciated how friendly and attentive everyone was. Plus the pie is always on point and the dranks be tasty.

Amazing food. Have yet to have something I didnt like. The fig and prosciutto pizza, as odd as it sounds, taste amazing. The servers are always attentive and wonderfully kind. Though, I will say personally the bathrooms are located in an odd spot (feels wierd going to them since you pass the psuedo kitchen). Another thing to note is they keep their lights very low and the place is always buzzing with chatter so if those 2 things make you anxious as they do me, probably not the best place because of the atmosphere. Parking is pretty tight as well, since its around back. Feels tight to maneuver.

First time here, and I was on the hunt for some good pizza! I Googled a few places but didn t like how outdated the pictures were. This place came highly recommended by a coffee shop called Crude Craft, so we decided to give it a try. The exterior has an industrial chic vibe, and the inside is a perfect mix of modern industrial meets conventional very well done ambiance. Our server, Lucy, was fantastic cool, down-to-earth, and super helpful with us first-timers. We ordered a half pepperoni, half veggie pizza (10/10). The freshness was undeniable, but I wasn t a fan of the goat cheese on the veggie half. We also tried the lollipop lemon pepper chicken wings (7/10) the flavor and seasoning were 10/10, but the wings themselves were just okay. Their house-made ranch was unique, with an interesting aftertaste. I tried the Bishop Crackberry Cider and loved it definitely a 10/10. For dessert, we had the Chocolate Blackout cake (10/10) moist with divine whipped chocolate icing, even though there was a lot of it. We also had their house-made doughnuts (10/10) with all the sauces delicious! Overall, a great first-time experience. The atmosphere was amazing, the food was amazing, and the service from Victoria was amazing. We were checked on several times by Victoria and the GM. We ordered a pepperoni pizza (half cheese) and a hot honey chicken sandwich. My husband got a cider and I got the pine mocktail. We will absolutely be back. I had horrible experience. I ordered to go food it was chicken melt sandwich. And as a side was salad. They put fries instead and the sandwich was not on bread it was made on the base for pizza- like a taco. We called to share our feedback, left vm. No one called me back. Then we called next day . No excuses, no apologies. Really no one cares. The worst fact when you pregnant you don t want to drive back after your pick up at 10pm . So really the worst experience. Stuff doesn t care about you

I went to Pie Tap for a work related event. The restaurant looked nice and clean. The environment was quiet and was not too busy. Our orders were placed quickly and we were served in under 10 minutes. The food was hot and fresh. We enjoyed our time there. I would visit the location again.

We came here the first night after we moved to Fort Worth. It was AMAZING. The food was extremely good, the entire staff was incredibly friendly, and everyone was very knowledgeable. They were busy because it was Mothers Day weekend but we were treated like we were the only ones in the restaurant. We had just moved back to FW from Dallas where we always felt the customer service was really stuffy and pretentious, so this experience was a great reminder why we moved back to good FW <3

Came here for dinner. The service was excellent, super friendly and attentive. We had the Salami pizza, it was phenomenal! So delicious. We got the dipping sauce and OMG the ricotta ranch and the goat cheese fondue were spectacular. The dessert was huge and yummy. This place may be a nice place to eat but I ll never truly know. Just left, visit is/was on 8/6. Joined some friends for my buddy s birthday. Ordered a beer and the chicken sandwich. Beer came but the sandwich never did. After 45 minutes of waiting and never seeing the wait staff again we decided it best to just close our tabs. Check comes. Wasn t charged for the food which is fine but no mention of my order was ever revisited or discussed by the individual who waited on us. Attention to detail is important. Especially when the detail is ordering food at a restaurant. Literally the only thing the space exists for is to feed people. I ve no interest in going back. Go to Cane Rosso instead. Never had a bad meal there. Never had my time wasted.

Sunday 7pm resturant not busy. Sat at the bar area with only 1 other couple. Took several minutes to even be recognized. Order 2 drinks and was told the pineapple margarita was not available so switched to wine and beer. Asked for waters also. Drinks came no water. Took another several more minutes to come back and get our order. Ordered the chicken lollipop appetizer. Took at least 20 mins to arrive. Still no water. Asked for water again and bartender stated I made them but forgot them. After eating the chicken lollipop and sitting with empty plates and bones and drinks finally got to order dinner. Ceaser salad, pasta Carbanara and mushroom pizza. Carbanara was not available so we just ordered the salad and pizza. Pizza came out, no salad. Asked about salad and bartender stated it should be out, I had them bring it out with the pizza We all know he forgot to put the salad in and we said just forget it. Half way through the pizza the salad shows up. By then we just said F it and had him box it up. We thought about ordering the cake but just was done with the service and decided to take our business somewhere else. I will say the chicken lollipop and pizza where very good, but the terrible service was disheartening. Will we be back, most likely not.

Im really not sure why Pie Tap isnt rated much higher. The service was great. It was very busy when we got to the restaurant but the staff went out of their way to make sure we were seated. Every single staff member interaction was fun and pleasant. Our waitress Lucy was as friendly as they come and a very good waitress. The food that we ordered was delicious and the cocktails very well made. Two people from the management staff checked on us. They go far to make sure everyone is enjoying their dining experience. I highly recommend a visit.

We walked in with a reservation and were sat immediately by the kind host. Our waiter was great (did not catch his name) and asked for drink orders. We ordered three waters plus some mixed drinks. Our waiter seemed very flustered and did great considering. We waited a while for our water, and a bit longer for our mixed drinks. Two of us ordered a mocktail of some sort and the other the Italian swirl marg (which was delish!) and it seemed that one of our mocktails (virgin jalapeño marg) was the cause of the wait. We would have liked an update on what was going on, but when the waiter expressed that the wait staff was short, we gave him some grace. The drinks we received were great, mine a raspberry lemonade hold the vodka, and she did not receive a virgin jalapeño marg. Tasted more like a piña colada, which she wasn t mad about, but there was a tajin rim as requested and it did not go very well with the flavors. We ordered our food and waited right at an hour. Two of us ordered the hot honey truffle sandwich, one without the pepper pecan jam. Thank you to the waiter and the kitchen for respecting my nut allergy. The sandwiches were delicious, and I enjoyed every bite. A pepperoni pizza was ordered, which seemed to come out lukewarm. We figured maybe it was ready first, and they were waiting on our sandwiches? They tasted FRESH! I ordered dessert to go and enjoyed it. Seems as if they were very short on wait staff and the mocktail situation was a bit frustrating, but we made it work and were nonetheless pleased with what she got! We hope to come back when we re in town again. Dietary restrictions: I often struggle with a nut allergy on restaurants being respectful on restrictions, but it seems like these guys have a good handle based on my experience.

I had some really good pasta from Nacho with spinach and every sauce that I had had a very good lemon taste to it and the pizza was so crispy and crunchy and very, very good if you ever get a chance to pull off of here off of magnolia this place is the spot to go. I know Kane Russo is right up the street but man you gotta try this place. This place makes some of the best pasta and all of Dfw. I m not gonna lie this pasta is super good.

Been here twice, once for dinner and once for brunch. The pizzas are very good, especially the crust which has a very nice sour dough flavor. For brunch I had the salmon pizza which was amazing. I wish it was offered all of the time For dinner we went during happy hour which offers a great value. Half priced drinks and $15 pizzas which can feed two. Cant wait to go again. Highly recommend! Pizza was alright, not the best I ve had in Fort Worth. The cause of the low review is that they burned a few slices of my pizza and then in an attempt to conceal it they poured a puddle of sauce onto those slices. Not a big deal as I only had to toss about a slice out after salvaging the areas around the burnt slices but still, just remake the pizza or don t try to cover it. Never left a review somewhere before but it irked me as I ordered online.

Where do I start? Well, let me tell you about Dani, our server extraordinaire. She knows her stuff! From guiding us through the menu like a seasoned pro to recommending the perfect beer pairing (which was fantastic, by the way), Dani was top-notch. Now, lets talk pizza. The selection was incredible, but heres the kicker eggs on pizza! Dani, my friend, I appreciate your adventurous spirit, but eggs on a pie? Thats like wearing flip-flops in a snowstorm just not right! But jokes aside, the vibe was great, and we lucked out it wasnt packed to the rafters on a Friday night. Overall, a wonderful experience. Finally went and checked out Pie Tap for the first time and wow!! Wonderful experience! Our server Ethan was amazing! Super knowledgeable on the menu, gave us recommendations and over all made our experience superb! We loved that Pie Tap offered the option for half and half of different toppings. We stuck with the classics - Margherita & Pepperoni. We tried the fondue and knots and it was delicious. The ambiance was super cool! The manager came and checked on us. Unfortunately the experience did not start off well! We had outdoor reservations that had been made in person and they did not mention the outdoor area was closed, when we arrived we were told the outdoor area was closed due to flea infestation. The food was okay but not wow, lacked flavor one of the guests in my party their burger was really undercooked, she requested well done, at best it was medium rare. The host did give us a complimentary dessert and my friend and I shared my meal so she wouldn t have to wait for them to remake her meal while everyone else enjoyed their meal.

Everything is good except the millennial attitude by most of the employees.. a little too left leaning for me... and I am definitely a live and let live person.. but the condescension is extra thick here.. I like the food and have been there twice. But wont go back, literally due to the general attitude of the workers. Just not for me, and I have never had this concern anywhere else.. maybe I am just too Texan for this place.. Parking: Terrible parking situation..

Everything about our experience tonight was so amazing! But the service was so over and above! They could put on a clinic. Thank you so much! We had the margarita pizza, chicken bbq pizza, and the rotisserie chicken dish. All of it so incredibly good! This is going to be our new favorite place to go!

Excellent place and thanks for the recommendations from others here and FB. She had the Ricotta Gnocchi and I went with the Half Pizza / Half Salad lunch special. Was so good we ended up ordering more to bring home. Highly recommend and we will certainly be back.

Service is horrible I was there at 9 26 they supposedly close at 10 i sat at the bar and the lady did not payed attention for a while then I tried to order and she told me they were out of everything I tried to order she made it clear I was bothering her by placing an order 30 mins before closing time . You should just post that closing time is at 9 30 because it was clear that the employee was done at that time even though there was more than 30 mins left

What a great place to enjoy good food and company! Everything was fantastic from the seating to the service. Our waiter Jon made a lot of great recommendations and checked on us regularly to ensure we were enjoying our meal/drinks. I absolutely love the atmosphere and brick wall near the seats. The food, however, was unseasoned and not worth finishing. I definitely will not be returning. My mother said the same thing and was very disappointed. We were actually supposed to be going somewhere else. However, this is the only place that was not crowded.

This place was perfect! We came with our two little (ages 2 and 6) for Sunday brunch (which lasts until 3 PM.) Their mimosas are $3 and the food was great! We shared the meatball appetizer ( snack )and margarita pizza. Each of the kids had pepperoni pizzas. The staff were so nice and even gave both kids pizza dough to play with while we waited. Adult drinks hit the spot as well!

The pizza was fantastic! We also ordered the garlic knots. They were pretty good. I really like their bread they use here. We ordered the goat cheese fondue and ranch as dipping sauces and they were both a little underwhelming. Definitely not bad but not super impressive. Over all me and my sexy girlfriend enjoyed our date night here and are leaving very full and happy. I don t know that we will rush back but i definitely wouldn t protest if it was suggested. Staff was super friendly and nice. They get a 5/5!

Cute, open space, gourmet pizza kitchen. The new atrium giving patio vibes right in the middle of the restaurant is neat. The frose is yummy, as are the brunch pies & fondue. My only critique would be to more thinly slice the cold smoked salmon & more evenly distribute it over the pie. The service was prompt & friendly as well.

Not even that business today a 30 min wait. And think their all that - but you should treat walk-ins better and treat your front line better. Host on the phone, people waiting- unacceptable. 1 star - is because you have preferential seating and your host is talking on the phone for 5 minutes and people are in line waiting.

We live in the neighborhood and we couldnt be more thrilled that this NEW place opened! Staff was super friendly (even though we were second to last seated before closing) and happily answered questions we had about the business. Cocktails were phenomenal (pic is raspberry basil mojito). Pizza was so fresh and delicious with a crust similar to Mellow Mushroom. The environment was beautifully decorated, romantic and cozy. We were asking about a glass wall at the back and they said theyre planning on adding a rooftop patio and we cant wait! EDITED after 2nd visit. Wait was long. Food was cold. Service was slow but well still go back.

We used to love this place. The last few times were extremely disappointing. Both of our drinks were small, the cocktail was about 90% ice and the wine mustve been a 4 oz pour. My entree came out 15 minutes after my husbands pizza, and was somehow cold and barely had any sauce on it. Server didnt refill drinks and just didnt seem to care about the bad service. Place was cold. Waste of money. Not coming back.

The food is amazing, no doubt. Drinks were great as well. The only downside we ran into was getting in on a very busy friday night, thankfully we found bar seating only to hear the bar staff complain about how busy it was and how they did not want to work on friday nights. Only other down side was secondary to how busy they were they lost our ticket and we didn t get our pizza until an hour later after asking, they brought it out only for it to be cold. Truly such a great vibe and atmosphere just very busy and caught them having a rough day!
