I called in about an ex-employer and trying to get information on if I was wrongfully terminated other than because they just didnt like me and he gave me a lot of good information and also answered some question about another ordeal in regards to suing another business for damages to my vehicle. While they couldnt take my case because of Tort reform, they spent a lot of time with me explaining things and why and what needs to happen in Texas to reform horrible laws that permit medical malpractice to occur with little fear of penalty or reprisal. Our State Representatives shamefully take lobbyist money without regard to the well being of the citizens they represent, and this is another example of that. A dear friend recommended Jims firm after an accident with an underinsured driver. Up until that point, I had never had to navigate the bureaucratic minefield of the insurance, medical, and legal industries. It was overwhelming and upsetting. I am a small business owner and needed some quick advice on a statement of work and terms and agreements contract for a large customer. This was my largest contract to date and the client corporation had some very hefty asks in their legal contract. I did not feel confident about signing it and Jim Zadeh helped me review the contract and he found areas where I was able to push back and request clause removals. I didnt think the large corporation would flex on anything, but I followed Jims advice and it was a huge success. The large global company removed the clauses and modified to the terms Jim suggested/recommended. His advice, knowledge and recommendations saved me THOUSANDS of dollars in new insurance that I would have needed to purchase and one particular clause he was able to get removed actually reduced my potential exposure by MILLIONS! I contacted Mr. Zadeh after nearly giving up on a successful result in my case. I first talked to his paralegal, who was patient, honest, friendly, and took his time listening carefully to my story. I was very hesitant to give too much information after bad experiences with several other lawyers, but he was so empathetic and interested in my situation that I was ready to schedule a consultation immediately. I now realize that Mr. Zadeh must have taken great care in selecting his staff. Every person in his office is professional, helpful, and empathetic. My consultation with Mr. Zadeh was completely unlike any meeting I had had with any other attorney. He asked thoughtful and relevant questions that made me feel like my situation was important. He took his time listening to every detail and then we established goals. For the first time, I was able to see a light at the end of the tunnel. During negotiations, he was always available, constantly making sure that we were on the same page. In the end, Mr. Zadeh was able to ensure all of the goals we set in our consultation had been achieved or exceeded. Now that Im on the other side of my situation, I cant imagine having moved forward with anybody else. It might be uncouth of me to mention this, but I went back and added up the time he must have spent on my case and realized that I was severely undercharged. I was actually concerned that there had been a mistake because my bill wouldnt have even covered the time he spent talking to me, much less time spent preparing documents and conducting negotiations on my behalf. When I approached him about this, he just brushed it off. I couldnt believe it. Anyway, hes a great advocate and fought to make sure I walked away with more than I thought was possible.
