This is a pretty nice park. Great for walking/running, riding bikes,taking your dog for a walk or letting the kiddos play in the playground. However some people go there to smoke marijuna in the parking spots and just watch people from their car. Makes you feel a bit uncomfortable

Go here to eat and relax very quiet location not very used why I dont know. Its clean and great view. Playground: For little kids age 3 to 8 very small not for all ages but its always usually empty so if private kid fun then this is the spot. No weirdos walking around. Dog-friendliness: Huge field for dogs to run and play Picnic area: Covered eating area with canapy and BBQ grills also trashcans everywhere very accessible so no need to worrie about clean up after a birthday party theres 4 or more tables good location for any event.

I stopped here for lunch today. There is a neighborhood patrol person that kept stopping by and parking behind me. I think he wrote down my tag numbers. Excuse me but this is a public park, open from 7 am to 10 pm. I am not above filing harassment charges.

Clean, large park. Benches but no barbecue available but there is nice large pavilion. Nice new playground. Trinity trails run through, so a great place to take a break. More renovations scheduled, including kayak launch, but no dates provided.

The parking area across from Jefferson River East needs trash receptacles or trash bins. Beverage containers and food containers left on the ground and on parking lot.

The park is still under construction but theres alot of animal dropping that needs to be cleaned up hopefully when the parks construction is completed they would clean it up aswell

The park is under construction. There is only one small parking area available. Its a nice park, but I am excited to see what they will do with it. Walking/biking trail looks to still be usable.

This park is setting great improvements. New trails are being paved. Unfortunately there is little cleanup and law enforcement presence. I went biking once and the trails are full of kids smoking weed on the trail and you have to walk past their smoke. Although theyve been paving the trails cleanup is minimal and you can find mud, trash, etc covering the trails occasionally. Grass isnt cut often and maintenance is neglected. I hope with the gentrification of the nearby areas the city will pay more attention to the park and make significant improvements to match it to the nearby parks such as gateway or the trinity River downtown.
