Easy Access Free Parking Beautiful Scenic Views Hiking trails from easy to difficult(best to wear hiking/workout shoes) Bird watching Butterfly catching Fishing Dog Friendly Family friendly Port-a-potties Trails are clean Best time to visit is April-early June. My husband and I really enjoyed ourselves on this nature walk Dog-friendliness: Didn t see many signs about dogs being on leash.Would recommend to have them on one at all times can easily get lost.

A lovely pre-WW2 national civic works project that overlooks the lake, yet has well-built trails that go all the way down to the lake for a decent fishing adventure.

You can definitely get a good hike in this park. The waterfalls are a really nice view. However, the park is full of trash.

Love the diversity of this park because you have two options - you can take the paved sidewalk for a more casual walk, OR you can take the path behind the pavilion towards the water - it is actually a pretty steep and decent hike! I was pleasantly surprised by the lovely views and how clean the park and path was.
