This park is weird. I got attacked by a zombie kid at the playground. Cant go anywhere to enjoy the park anymore. Bunch of weirdos that cant control their kids.

If the lake from the Simpsons was a real place this would be it. Trash lines the lake and the neighborhood is sketchy. Never been here and dont plan on coming back. Came here for fishing but there is a sign that fish are not edible. I wouldnt be surprised if there werent any fish because of the polution. Random packs of dogs roaming through and 1 bench to sit at in the whole lake.

Theyve taken a lot of things out of the park but havent added anything to it. They just do the mowing. Playground: Is up on the hill away from the lake. Picnic area: They are up on the hill too.

This is an area that is frequented by graffiti artists, photographers and models, and the curious. Some have said the area isnt that safe, but didnt have any problems and we saw some families exploring the abandoned incinerator.

The Glory days of this lake is long gone! Its just a burn out spot where they come and destroy the rubber on their tires. Throw beer bottles on the ground disregarding safety and damages done to other peoples tires. The point in that stuff is beyond me. But thats what it has come to around there. Nothing like the 80s when ppl went there to actually have fun, shoot hoops, Have family gatherings under the picnic hut thats no longer there, safe fish to eat if you caught them etc. Smh its just a shell of the past just like the rest of Ft Worth..

Echo Lake is played out for me, the railroad crossing near the park only works half the time. The water in the lake always looms dirty. I wouldnt fish or swim there. The city should be ashamed of themselves. The only thing interesting happening at Echo Lake is what could be happening in your personal vehicle.

It is a decent place to walk your dog during the day. Its a small pond that lots of people come to fish on. Im not sure they catch anything but I have heard there is some good size bass fish. Definitely suggest going home before dark. The city cleaned all the trash at one point but it is starting to build back up.

Four wheelers should not be allowed to ride around the park racing with children not strapped in.. . With no lights or license plates if accident occur whos at fault they should be ticket plus I experienced this in my own neighborhood does anyone care about the safety of the children anymore
