Mr. St. John is without a doubt the best criminal defense attorney. He worked diligently on my case and was always very professional. If you are looking for an attorney who cares about you, communicates well, and fights for you look no further! HIGHLY recommend!

Not Very professional never called back never got in contact with me was not good with my son on his case never see him till you go to court never in his office always gone did not have his best interest at heart he would not remove himself off my son case we didnt even want him the judge said no I think thats why he didnt work for him

Paid him thousands of dollars and he did nothing for my loved one. He sat in jail over 6months and St. John never went to see him ..St John missed a court date and pissed the judge off he lied about what would happen and is impossible to get a hold of.if you call his office from a number they don t recognize you maybe lucky enough for them to answer but if they know your number they never answer!!He told my loved one to sign what the DA offered without explaining anything to my loved one and did not even give correct info as to what the next steps in this awful journey were going to be. Said he would do a parole packet and failed to advise it would be another $4000 there were several mistakes in the paper work St John presented to the courts. Overall horrible experience and would not recommend him to do anything for any one ever. We threw thousands of dollars away wasted it on hiring St John who never looked at the court file until the morning of court. DONT USE HIM you would be better off to represent yourself he is a worthless excuse of an attorney read his other reviews you will find a lot of bad ones. Karma will eventually get him!

I wouldn t recommend him to NOBODY especially if African American he definitely not for our people. My Dad hired him When I was ask my dad to hire Ed Jones or Mark Scott The only way you can talk to him or his assistant is if you re making a payment which is $1000 for him to even pick up the phone and listen to you my father paid him $4000 within a month only speaking with him four times over the phone promising my family i while receive time serve on my case, but he never came to see me never spoke to or anyone they tried to reach out and ask questions or update on my case when I went to court, he recommended I bond out after briefing my dad out his money then walk away !! He is definitely The Jail House Grinch

Mr St John was assigned to my sons case as a public defender....this man is extremely busy but when an issue came up he immediately made himself available the very next morning in court. He believed in my son and knows the system very well. He was able to lower his charges and get things dismissed , therefore allowing my son to eventually put this behind him and move on with his life. Also his assistant is extremely knowledgeable....she herself is very busy but she will make the time to help answer every question you may have. Thank you both for helping us through a tough situation.

This legal team is the best in Tarrant county, After my case and during my probation, I came across serious issues with my probation contract, his professional team, took it back to court and contested it on my behalf, they are very understanding and caring, saint johns receptionist, is extremely knowledgeable and caring, when you speak to her, she I almost as knowledgeable as an attorney herself. The best part is she cares, sometimes I will call just to check on update on case and vent, and she gives me a listening ear, although they are busy.

Although warren saint john was assigned as my public defender, his quality of work compared to a private attorney, during the time of my trails, it was from my understanding he was in the middle of a very rough case, I believed it was murder, I could be wrong, the point was that his workload was heavy, however his time management skills were precise and reputable. He gave me a great plea deal which dismissed 2 big charges of me accepting a single misdemeanor that will be removed upon completion of probation. He is fair, if you committed the crime, he is not stupid and will not sugar coat it, however he won t let you be charged with an unreasonable sentence because he understands we are humans, and he knows the courts tend to intensify everything about your charge, he will fight you a fair trial. If you are innocent, and he knows it, be prepared to have the best legal team in Tarrant County.

PLEASE don t hire him. Humans his secretary is bias among other things. He has left my love one in jail for over a month without posting his bond. He has NOT even been down to visit him. He ignores my emails and phone call. His secretary talked about him and his case without even asking or knowing the truth. The alleged victim has dropped the charges against him. Some people like to give make false accusations and phone calls to police. My love one gets taking advantage of because he s black and has a mental illness. Worst and sad experience of our lives. Why would he let a client suffer. I will NOT give him my fight to help him win this case. It should be DISMISSED

Hes definitely the worse attorney ever, he took my money and never did anything for my son, he lied to me about my son being in court on a Friday he told me he was going to find out when and call me. He didnt call me back so I called his office and hes assistant told me that court was already that Friday, he told my son that if he didnt take a deal of 10 years and sign that day they might give him lots of years so my son got scare and signed, that was so unjust and preposterous. He took 15k from me with no results I dont even think he tried. If I could, Id give him -5 stars. This happened 6 years ago. Theres God as our witness. Karma May the Lord forgive you.

Mr St. John was not only the most kindhearted attorney I have ever dealt with he is HANDS DOWN one of the most hardworking attorneys that I know of! He didn t let something like a broken tibial plateau hold him back whatsoever. Wheelchair and all he still managed to get in front of everyone that he needed to, in order to keep me free and headed in the right direction! His legal assistant Holly was upbeat and welcoming every time we spoke in person and over the phone. Despite the short amount of time they had to work with, I was never brushed aside or made feel as if my case was any less important than any other. If you want an honest, hardworking attorney who will be completely transparent with you, LOOK NO FURTHER! I would first start by saying, I was very grateful, I was to have Mr Saint John, and Holly his assistant to work with. They were very respectful, professional, and hard-working, on my case. They also gave me education, and guidance to be able to figure out what was best with what I was working with. I was very appreciative. If I had any questions if I couldnt get a hold of them directly, I was quickly met with a message once Holly returned to the office. I was very glad to work with them. This attorney will take clients money and forget they even exist. My brother-in-law has sat in Tarrant County for nearly a year and NOT ONE TIME has his attorney been to see him. Attorneys were visiting the jail during covid , our friends attorney came four times in a two month period. He has done nothing on his case. He is a horrible attorney and is more concerned about what people think of his accomplishments than accomplishing anything on behalf of his clients. Research before you spend your money.

Where is the negative 5 star????? This guy took 15k of my money he did an appeal for a family member of mine and the appeal was denied because he copied and pasted from another one of his clients appeals and Forgot to remove that clients name in the actual appeal he submitted to the appeals court. I had to call the court to find out the decision, he still has yet to call me and let me know the results of the appeal. clearly his work ethic Is horrible and he is lazy or he s just greedy and takes peoples money And not actually do the work Or maybe he felt it was just another black guy sentenced to life in prison so no work needed... I m thankful for Karma tho. It s coming back.

Impossible to get a call back from this attorney! They were quick to take our payment but when we needed to get information pertaining to our family members case we were told we weren t his client. The clerk who answers the phone also loves to give you the run around. If you re too busy to take on the work load then you should have said so from the beginning!
