The food was fantastic! Very well crafted and thought out. The atmosphere and decor of the restaurant was very relaxed. Our server Chelsie was phenomenal! They were super friendly, very knowledgeable on the dishes and wine being served and actually recommended some places to visit in Fort Worth after our meal! We will definitely be coming back for the 8 course or Summer tasting menu. Thank you for the great experience!!

My husband and I experienced Maiden for the first time a couple of weeks ago and it was an awesome experience. Food was amazing, creative, flavorful, thoughtful, and very filling. I loved the detailed descriptions before each course. We went to celebrate my birthday and all the staff signed a birthday card for me which was a nice touch. Looking forward to dining here again in the future. Amazing to have an elevated vegan option for those special occasions. Dietary restrictions: Vegan

I took my boyfriend to Maiden for a four course meal with zero proof drink pairings for his birthday and it was a wonderful experience! It s of course a bit expensive but it was definitely worth it! My boyfriend and I usually never go out to nice dinners but our wonderful server Chuck took great care of us and really made our night. Im just going to add a few notes that may seem obvious to some but I think are helpful if you re not sure what to expect: 1. It is ALL 100% Vegan 2. The portions are small! It s not about eating as much as it is about tasting 3. The drink pairings are (in my opinion) a must for the complete experience 4. With the 4 course meal you are still given an a la carte menu with other food and drinks you can order in addition to your meal 5. Dress semi formal to formal. I don t think they enforce a strict dress code or anything, but honestly I had more fun dressing the part! 6. For price reference we got a 4 course meal and zero proof pairings for two, with tip it ended up being $300 And that s it! Great experience, it s something I think everyone should do at least once. Dietary restrictions: All vegan!

This restaurant was fantastic. The food was delicious. The experience was whimsical and thoughtful with moments of humor. I did the 8 course meal with the wine pairing. I was impressed with the Chefs level of technique and flavor profile. The meal is expensive, but I cant decide if it feels more expensive because I dont spend that much money on a restaurant meal in Fort Worth, or because I want to go again and again. The towels at the beginning and end could be updated. Overall, the experience was great and it is the perfect place to celebrate a special ocassion.

I went for my birthday after reading a lot of good reviews. I like the concept and enjoyed my dinner, but I dont think the food justified the price. It was all good, but the only standout dish for me was the dessert and since my girlfriend doesnt eat sweets, I got two of them to help fill the spaces in my stomach the vegetables left. Staff was attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was kind of odd, almost like we were in a diner that was fancy. I love that they have zero proof options to pair with their food, but I tried one and couldnt drink it because it tasted like medicine. They were nice enough not to charge us for it though. Overall, I enjoyed visiting and would go back at a lower price point option.

And I love that as someone who is gluten and dairy free, I can still have the full experience of the menu. So thankful for this place! It was a perfect location both to take my staff to reward them for their hard effort, as well as later to celebrate my anniversary!

What a lovely little restaurant! I recently met my girlfriends here for cocktails paired with their a la carte bar food menu. It was divine! Maiden has such interesting cocktails, which were expertly crafted for us by Rosae. She was so welcoming and knowledgeable. For food we ordered the cheese plate and the pimento cheese. Every bite was delectable. In particular, the Rebel cheeses from Austin were incredible! The design of the restaurant is definitely luxurious, but also comfortable and soothing. Amazing food! The 8 course menu is not 2-3 hours! It was 5 hours. Every time we finished our food we had to wait around 15 minutes before they took our plates, then another 15 to get our complementary drinks, then another 15 minutes to get our next course. The experience would have been way better if they actually had the timing down to 2.5-3 hours. Sitting for 5 hours was pretty difficult. Vegetarian options: All vegan

Nestled in the heart of DFW, Maiden Plants and Spirits offers a transcendent experience in vegan fine dining that left us utterly captivated from start to finish. Our inaugural foray into the realm of plant-based gastronomy was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we stepped through the doors, we were enveloped in an atmosphere of sophistication and warmth. The cocktail program, reminiscent of those found in esteemed cocktail bars, set the stage for an evening of culinary exploration. What truly set Maiden apart was the unparalleled expertise and passion exhibited by the staff. Each member demonstrated an encyclopedic knowledge of the restaurants history and concept, enriching our dining experience with anecdotes and insights. Their genuine enthusiasm for the dishes they served was palpable, as they meticulously explained each course with reverence and pride. And then, there was the food an unparalleled symphony of flavors and textures crafted from the freshest, plant-based ingredients. With each bite, we embarked on a journey of discovery, marveling at the ingenuity and artistry behind each dish. From delicate appetizers to decadent mains, every offering showcased the culinary prowess of the chefs at Maiden. What truly stood out was the attention to detail evident in every aspect of our experience. From the presentation of the dishes to the seamless service, Maiden exemplified excellence in every sense. Its a standard that many other establishments in the DFW area would do well to emulate. In conclusion, our evening at Maiden was nothing short of magical a testament to the endless possibilities of vegan cuisine when executed with passion and precision. Whether youre a devoted vegan or simply curious to explore a new culinary frontier, Maiden promises an unforgettable dining experience that transcends expectations.

(As an extra bonus, I am currently involved with the online course, Zen and the Art of Saving the Planet, and the thoughtful preparation of everything at Maiden, shared by our wonderful waiter, Warren, fit perfectly with the week I am currently working on, Week 4, Learning to Rest.) My husband and I visited Maiden for the first time this past weekend as a special treat. As soon as we walked in, it felt like a high-end experience. The ambiance felt very intimate, clean, modern, and cozy at the same time. We each got the 8-course tasting with the non-alcoholic drink pairings. Each course was a delightful, beautiful, delicious surprise. The drinks on their own were amazing and diverse, and each paired so well with its dish. There were no lows, but several very high highs. The way Chef Amy made each course tie so well together while being so different from one another was very impressive. Our waiter, Tony, was very knowledgeable and friendly, and really added to the experience. Every dish was very plant-forward (on top of being vegan), and it really felt like a fabulous celebration of life. Food from the Earth, made even more beautiful by the talented chefs. I was totally inspired, and will continue to visit Maiden as often as I can afford.

I am not a vegan. Heck, Im not even a vegetarian, but I do love great food and I really love a great dining experience. That is exactly what I got last night at Maiden. This place opened with a lot of buzz and it took me a while to finally try it. I regret my delay. The experience starts when you approach the restaurant. The architecture is funky, fresh, amd modern. That vibe continues as you enter. The space is open and airy with a beautiful bar and really cool and comfy velvety booths. We sat in a small booth, but there are larger curved booths that can seat 8 that made me picture Sinatra and the Rat Pack enjoying a night out in Palm Springs. Ordering is easy. Its a tasting menu which basically means items are pre-selected. You just choose between the 4 course or the 8 course. As a first timer, I went 4 course. Each course can be paired with drinks, which we did (go Wednesday for 1/2 off pairings). Our pairings included 3 different wines and one plain vermouth which was really fun and botanical. Each course (soup, veggie/salad, main and dessert) was fantastic and focused solely on quality and not quantity. As a notoriously big eater, I worried a bit with each course arrival, but at the end of the meal my appetite was satisfied and it dawned on me that perhaps these portions were more in line with how we should be eating. This place is special and unique and is needed in Fort Worth. Its not cheap (the 4 course is $90) but is worth every penny and I will be back. I cant sign off without raving about our server, Bird. The experience was made possible through Birds overall excellence. Knowledgeable, professional, engaging, and magnetic, Bird has it all. Id put Bird in the class of one of the best in Fort Worth. Go to Maiden and ask for Bird. Youll be glad you did. I loved Maiden and encourage you to get there soon. Ill be back.

Coming from LA and having traveled extensively and visited many plant-based fine dining restaurants across the US, I must say that Maiden truly outdoes itself. We were in town visiting family and couldnt pass up an opportunity to try North Texass only fine-dining vegan spot. I dined with my husband and a friend for the ten-course dinner with drink pairing. Every single dish was thoughtful, creative, and delicious. I keep going back and forth between my favorites! But I have to say the gyoza, the cheese course, and the creme brulee were just incredible. We loved it so much that we brought our children back for tea time the following weekend, and everything was incredible. Our kids were so welcomed and loved feeling fancy having tea and eating vegan sandwiches and sweets. In North Texas and Fort Worth especially, theres just not as much creativity in the dining scene. Maiden brings a much needed breath of freshness and deliciousness. We will visit every time we are in the area.

I would say the food is mediocre. However, the service is spectacular. The vibes of the restaurant isn t too bad however, it seems a little too casual for the price you re paying for the food. The restaurant looks like a diner, which I don t think plays in its favor. When a meal is $150 per person I d expect a little bit more atmosphere. I ve been eating vegan food for the past five years and the food here was just underwhelming. I had actually watched a video of a YouTuber going to a restaurant that does a course meals and they had such a good time eating food that literally blew their minds. I guess I was hoping for something like that, but for vegan food I wouldn t say the food was terrible. Just if you compare what you re getting to the price it s underwhelming. I did tell them that it was my birthday and they did a spectacular job making me feel very special on a day that not many people did. I ll be forever grateful however, I do have to tell the truth on how I felt about the whole experience.

Everyones palate is different) Soup course - 3 - just okay, oddly sweet, a cup of broth I would not consider a valid course. Appetizer - 6 - roasted parsnip with a seed based confite and a tomato jam - interesting flavors, but parsnip a little hard to get through without more confite. Salad- 10 - asparagus and mango salad - amazing and perfectly cooked Potato dish - 6 - not as flavorful as I was expecting. Smelled great tasted just okay. Entree - 5 - something bitter in the pasta dish really put me off. Flavoring was good outside of that, needed some salt. Palate cleanser course??? 3 - about a tablespoon and a half of watermelon flavored ice shavings. That was considered a course, not worth it. Cheese plate - 10 - great flavors and pairings with vegan cheeses by Rebel cheese. Dessert - 10 - creme brulee with sticky rice - lovely ,sweet and creamy Drinks - nice and priced what I expected. Overall? I spent $430 for dinner with drinks and tip. Cute idea, absolutely not worth going back. Way too expensive.

The Maiden voyage is lovely. It achieves the ultimate in vegan dining: it is excellent- not just excellent vegan, but excellent, period. It is a fresh dining experience from the decor to the great, knowledgeable staff. All the offerings were unique and flavorful and the drink pairings were exciting. Everything was first-class. Looking forward to the next season.

My experience at Maiden was perfect. I could not have asked for anything to be better. We did the 8 course tasting and I am so glad we did. Each one was better than the last. All of the flavors played well with each other and progressed beautifully. Some of the courses were elevated takes on familiar flavors, and some were creative, new, and unique. I appreciate the craft behind the dishes- nothing was trying to imitate a meat based meal, the flavors were all very complex and used plant based ingredients in beautiful ways. I especially appreciated the plating, again very well designed, beautiful, and added to the flavor experience. The cadence was perfect- I did not feel rushed nor did I feel I was waiting for my next plate at any time. The few hours we dedicated to enjoying the experience were well-spent. We weren t bored at any point and had such a great time learning about each plate and taking our time enjoying it. On top of that, the experience was very well-thought. The plates and drinks were carefully explained by our server, he shared details from each plate and highlighted the thoughts behind the creation of the dish. Everyone was so welcoming and made our experience special by celebrating our anniversary with us. They even provided special touches like a signed card congratulating us on our occasion, as well as a celebration garnished on our dessert plate. I felt very comfortable with the ambience and enjoyed the atmosphere and service. The design of the restaurant makes the experience even more magical, it feels so luxurious and unique. The zero-proof cocktails are a nice touch for those that don t drink. I will definitely be coming back regularly for small plates and alcohol free drinks as well as reserving an 8 course tasting every season as the menu revolves. Thank you Amy for yet another vegan heaven in the DFW area!

It s a lot of money for a lacking execution of a high end restaurant. Some of the food is great but some of it just makes no sense. The broth at the beginning was far from satisfying and the tiny sliver of Rebel Cheese at the end was hardly worth mentioning that it came from Rebel Cheese . The entire experience is missing a main protein that one would expect in a restaurant like this. The alcoholic beverages were decent. The server raved about this strawberry beverage (I forget the name) but it just a tastes like Tums in liquid form. The service was average but takes forever and I mean forever! It took almost 3 hours and most of it is waiting for the food. It only takes 2-3 minutes to eat each course. There needs to be a better balance there. The atmosphere is great! Feels very mid century! They just opened and will definitely try again to see if things get better, but all in all the concept comes across as trying to be a 4-5 star Dallas Restaurant Experience and it s just not there yet. I can go to Perry s Steakhouse in Uptown Dallas and have a much nicer vegan meal for half the price, with better service and similar aesthetics. Hoping the experience gets better because I think the demand is definitely there. The staff s uniform also just doesn t work with the vibe. Ha

We had the pleasure of dining at Maiden for a much-needed date night away from the kiddos, and it is no exaggeration to describe our experience there as absolutely exquisite. From the gorgeous space to the friendly and attentive service to the beautiful and surprising tasting menu, it was a complete knock out! (Side note: we opted for the wine pairing, which I also thought was perfectly curated.) Magical night! Highly recommended!

I really wanted to love this place. I am a vegan from Dallas and I love seeing new vegan places popping up, especially a fully vegan fine dining experience near Dallas. But I was not a fan of the food, and the service was not the best. My dessert was still partially frozen when I ate it, the food that was supposed to be hot was lukewarm, and some people that came after us got the last few courses before us. Overall, not bad. If they modified the menu a bit to have a little more of a variety, it could work.

We had a great experience here celebrating our anniversary! Drove here from Dallas and it was worth the trip. Warren, our server, was thoughtful and very knowledgeable about each course and answered all of our questions. The food was fantastic! Love that this kind of experience is available in a plant-based way. We will definitely be back. Vegetarian options: Menu is 100% vegan Dietary restrictions: Menu is 100% vegan. Our first experience at Maiden was amazing! The food was incredible, and we really enjoyed the intimate atmosphere. Adam, our server, was so friendly and welcoming and we even got to meet the head chef and tell her how much we were enjoying her work. This is for sure my new special occasion spot and I hope to drop in and have a cocktail at their bar sometime soon.
