My son was facing a felony charge, and I ended up hiring Brandon Barnett due to the excellent reviews (and strong word of mouth recommendations) of his and his firms work. I am so thankful that we decided to work with Mr. Barnett! He is very smart, experienced and extremely professional. The support staff at Barnett Howard & Williams is fantastic, especially Sylvia! Brandon did a great job of setting our expectations and keeping us updated on my sons case. He was successful in getting my sons bail reduced and the charges significantly reduced. My autistic son got in trouble for downloading two underage photos that someone had talked him into doing he had a traumatic braininjury at the time that the incident occurred the attorneys at this firm refused to leave the area where they are located at even though it says on their website that they defend clients all across the state of Texas my son was eventually convicted and sentenced to 10 years in prison I hope you f a r e better than I did with these Jokers good luck to you and have a nice day

I cant speak enough good about this firm. I had accidentally taken a weapon through TSA and was jailed. Brandon Barnett at BHW helped me get out of jail with a WRIT that next morning, helped me gather items for the grand jury, kept me out of court, and my case was a no bill or dismissed which is perfect. Brandon Barnett was a great lawyer for me and took care of getting my weapon back as well. They said they would reach out in the future so we can expunge the incident which is awesome. It has taken me so long to write this review because I always become so emotional. Mr. Barnett and his associates are literally heaven sent. From the time we called him with our situation he was fast and quick moving. We spoke with his receptionist Ms. Sylvia and she had the most pleasant and clam voice ever. It s a hard situation when you need a lawyer. Who do you trust when you locked up in jail. Especially when you have made a an honest mistaken. My review of BARNETT, HOWARD & WILLIAMS, PLLC is a little bit lengthy but please read this, do not let the length deter you from reading my review, especially if youve been falsely accused of ANYTHING! When youve been falsely accused of something, you MUST ACT FAST (especially in Tarrant County). You MUST BE SMART about the choice you make when it comes to hiring an Attorney to represent you and choosing ANYONE from BH&W PLLC could just save your life, no joke!! The situation that I was placed in started in December 2016 and lasted until August 24, 2017. For 266 days, I lived a daily nightmare that is just indescribable. During that time I lost my job, my family, my wife and my life was torn apart in ways that no innocent man, loving husband nor devoted father should ever have to endure. Let me tell you now, my case was no walk in the park by any means of imagination. Any other Attorney would have been scared to death to take such a difficult case...Not Luke Williams. He and the other Attorneys were positively proactive, not to just hurry up through my case either but find the truthful resolution so that I may one day begin the rest of my life, treating my case (and me) with delicate respect. Whether a judge or jury, your attorney s diligence WILL dictate & influence them where it matters the most. Their decision! My nightmare began when I was notified by the DA that my ex-wife s fiancé assault allegation turned into assault charge. I knew that I needed to hire an attorney in short notice and more importantly one I could trust. After going through a 4 year long custody battle, the weight of a guilty verdict would of poisoned my case which was a risk I was not willing to take. Being a Marine combat veteran myself, I ve been under stellar leadership both times I ve been overseas & can spot it a mile away. I found Brandon Barnett after Google-ing a search for a criminal defense attorney, particularly one with military expertise. He ended up being the best Google search I have ever made! I received a notice to appear far later than anticipated with a date too close for comfort. Mr. Barnett advocated for a postpone --with success! My case involved a mistake on my behalf, which resulted in potential criminal charges. Although my actions could easily have been classified as a common mistake in the state of Texas, Mr. Barnett did not sugarcoat the seriousness of a potential guilty verdict. His openess was very important to me as I get turned off from the sense of dishonesty. Upon entering for my first sit-down with Mr. Barnett, the ambience and warm greetings I received continued to keep me calm and confident in my decision to be represented from here. I gave Mr. Barnett all the information he requested to build my defense (it is important to be honest with him as well). Case Dismissed. I had a case that needed a good attorney to handle. After some research I came across the Barnett, Howard, & Williams website. From the onset, I was impressed with their overall feel so made the decision to contact them. From the moment I contacted them, Brandon Barnett was easy to work with and communicate with. I was able to meet in either the downtown or Keller office depending on what was convenient for me and he was flexible on times. Brandons professionalism and initial concern about my case were genuine and took the time to assess and understand the situation that had taken place. He gave me a game plan on how we would approach the case and told me that our ultimate goal would be for dismissal but was up front in saying that there could be minor charges. He never misled me about what we were up against, but was extremely optimistic from day one. After a few court appearances, the ADA agreed to terms set forth after I completed the program that Brandon Barnett had put into place. On our final appearance they reviewed the efforts put forth and agreed for dismissal of my case. All of the staff with BHW Lawfirm were professional and courteous. The customer service factor overall was superb and very welcoming. Every phone call had a friendly tone and voice and every staff member that traveled with Brandon Barnett to court was warm and friendly.
