I had to stand there and look stupid and confused for like 5 mins and ask how they sell their cider before the cashier lady felt like giving me a little more information. A guy working the taps finally stepped in and was friendly and informative and told us about the mixed flights. They were good. Cashier was stand off ish and I can t think why. I was disappointed given the positive reviews.

The bartender was friendly and welcoming and they have GF Cider! I got the peach and Im so happy! I miss beer and most of the cider at the store is either not GF, or is overly bitter or sour, but this is well balanced and refreshing! This is my new hang out spot for sure! The atmosphere is fun too, I say outside but they had throwback tracks on from the early 200s! Very fun!

I stopped in here quickly as I am a huge fan of cider after traveling to the UK. seeing this place which makes many of their cider locally in house was great. The bartender there not only gave me great suggestions but let me sample. I ended up walking out with Manny of them as they can them also. They also have board games but I was unable to look into that as everything I did was to-go. If you like cider, this would be a great place to pay a visit to.

If you like apple cider, you have to try Locust Cider on draft! They have 6+ cider choices on draft, with some rotating. The vanilla bean is my personal favorite. Their cold pressed apple tastes just like apples and is crisply refreshing too. They also have classic SNES and NES video games. Overall these is a great relaxed area to chill out and enjoy a laid back atmosphere. Last I checked, they do validate parking.

Fun Cider place. Split two flights with two other people, in order to try everything. Some were a little too sweet for me, but there were several drier ones, that I really enjoyed. The vibe is great too. If you like cider, this is definitely a place to check out. Parking: Its a popular area, but was able to find some street parking about a block away.

Stopped by Locust the other day looking for a reprieve from heavy cocktails. Been here plenty of times before with no issue. But this time will be the last time I go. Immediately after walking in, the bartender told us they were closing soon. It was maybe 9:20ish. She let us try a couple things but based on her body language, it was clear to me she was not happy that we came in to the bar. Like we just ruined her chance to close up early or something. When I asked about the reserve ciders, she explained to me well, but it was a bit unsettling how unenthusiastic and indifferent she was. The vibe was totally off. We tried to go sit outside to escape this soul-sucking vacuum of a cidery, but the bartender chased after us saying she already closed down the outdoor seating and we will have to drink indoors. I m not sure how you close a picnic table but whatever. Sitting inside, the bartender gave us the side eye the entire time and I really felt uncomfortable there. Need I say we were the only ones there too? I even bought a smaller pour just so I could get in and out of this place faster, which is a shame because I actually enjoy Locust ciders. I like chill bars but feeling like the rude bartender could hear everything we were saying was not great either. Disappointing experience as I really enjoyed coming to Locust. Be better.

Had the spiced rum draft. So delicious! Went on a Tuesday night with a friend and we had the whole place to ourselves. They had a wide assortment of games to play, so we will be going back to try more ciders and different games. Only thing is that the beer was $10 which seems super steep to me, but I just moved back from living abroad and everything is crazy expensive now anyway :(

Surprising find recommended in a recent book purchase of what to do in Fort Worth. Healthy list of different ciders. Of note from some standard offerings - try the Chai! We were on a low level pub and dining crawl around downtown. We only had cider here but there is food available across the street to bring in. If you like a taste adventure this should be on your stop list. We had several breweries and cocktail speakeasies on the list. Great find.

Locust Cidar is a lifesaver. I hosted an event for a big online gaming community in Sept at Game Theory across the street. They were pretty unfriendly to us so we decided to move the event here. The servers ARE SO KIND. On top of that, the appetizers were delicious and the cidars were incredibly tasty. The gaming community I am part of spans all of DFW and we have 1.4k people currently, I will be hosting more events here. Thank you guys for your kindness. Really.

You can tell this business is based out of Washington and I love it. Very laid back, the ciders are light and refreshing but still full of flavor, and they creep up on you . What makes me want to come back though are Kate and Sianna. These two bartenders are so freaking cool. I was going on a first date, got there early, and we started talking and swapping music like we had known each other for months, if not longer. They were having me try cider mixtures and profile the flavors, which took me back to my tea barista and bartending days. Then my date showed up, but I really just wanted to keep kicking it with these two. I will be trying to come back when theyre there!

Locust Cider is definitely a Fort Worth staple in my book. Austin has Austin Cider, Dallas has Bishop Cider, and we have Locust Cider. (This rating is off the cider alone) The cider was bland and the dry cider tasted more like store bought apple juice than cider. There was no dryness to it and it tasted like they just used frozen concentrate and WLP001, US-05, or 1056. There was no additional flavor from the yeast and the cider had no discernible featured to warrant the price. I was very disappointed.

10 different flavors of cider on tap. 5 of the flavors change frequently. Create a flight of different flavors or get a pint of your favorite. Friendly atmosphere. Tables to hang out. Board and video games available. If you like it, theres a Swarm Club to join. They are big supporters of the Hydrocephalus Association.

I love Locust Cidery so very much. All you beer people have had your breweries for years and years. Well, this cider girl finally got her cidery! And their cider is fantastic! Have you tried their vanilla bean? Holy moly, it s amazingly fantastic! Their dark cherry cider is great too! They have like 12 different flavors on tap! You can get a pint there or even get a grunt or growler to go! On top of that, the place is dog friendly! They also schedule food trucks to come by and also have little craft markets too. Did I tell you about their games? Video games, board games, card games! They have stuff the draw and color with as well!!! I freakin love this place.

Sitting here chillin with my cider and my book with some light rock music playing in the background. I love the atmosphere of Locust cider--very relaxing. I love that I was able to take my time and just sip with no pressure to buy additional drinks--I did though--smile. My first cider was their lavendar which had just a hint of lavendar flower flavor and was super smooth and just easy to sip. I sipped it down very quickly so I am so glad I had some food with me. After finishing that cider I tried the mojito, which was super refreshing and just had a nice hint of mint. I decided to take a four pack of this home. Before going home I had to hit their game area, which not only had board games, but had Nintendo as well! My eyes teared up as I played Mario Brothers 1, 2, and 3. I definitely want to come back here and bring my friends!

I dont live in the FTW area, my boyfriend and I stay in Dallas where I was introduced to and usually always drink Bishop cider. However, I was in town visiting some friends and we decided to check this new cider place out. First, I love the activity, it makes you feel like youre in a fun atmosphere without your voices being drowned out. Secondly, but most importantly the cider at Locust is AMAZING, my favorite was the lavender!! After trying a few I could tell the difference in how much they care about their cider and want it to be the best quality, theyve nailed it. Thirdly, the best part of our experience was the bartender Lou, she was so knowledgeable and passionate about the cider. You can just tell she loves her job and mannnn she was funny. The rush ended so we started up a conversation with her, she had us in stitches. She made our whole night! We planned to bar hop but ended up staying with Lou after everyone left. She was worth the whole experience alone. Everyone go to Locust Cider in Fort Worth! You will get the best cider, youll enjoy the layout, love all the fun options, and youll feel like family once you leave. I will be coming back and bringing other with me, if not with friends then solo for more jokes and delicious cider. Parking was convenient and you can purchase canned cider to enjoy at home or gift to friends. I strongly suggest you do make your way to Locust!!
