Stopped in the Amber room with 2 friends. We were sitting at the end of the bar closest to the restaurant when a young lady walks to my left and asked the bartender about drinks. I said to her the wine I had was quite nice. She pops off to me about my toxic masculinity and gets nasty! I ask for management to do something about it. Nothing! Both my friends which were both female were appalled! NEVER going back!

We wanted to try this place for my sister s birthday. The staff was extremely rude to my family members when asked if they could make a particular mixed drink. The woman bartender made no eye contact with my step-father and blatantly said I can tell you right now we don t have ANY type of ingredients to make that. She didn t even attempt to make the drink or even ask what ingredients it required so how would she have known she didn t have the ingredients??? The environment was nice but we won t be returning because of the staff.

If I had made this review any time before about a week ago, everything would have been 5 stars. This was my husband and my favorite bar, with both of our favorite drinks, and one of the only places we would return to repeatedly, albeit not super often. Wishbone and flynt, the restaurant next door, has now I suppose taken over amber room, as they are the name listed on the charge from our visit to amber room (which we actually visited just prior to going this most recent time, and were also very unimpressed, already having planned not to return to wishbone and flynt). Amber Room has drastically changed its menu as far as I can tell (going off those 2 drinks alone, because we loved them so much we never ordered anything different). We saw that the drinks were no longer on the menu, and when my husband asked if they were still able to make them or anything like them, he was responded to fairly rudely, by a staff member that has made them for us in the past. If the ingredients are no longer in stock, that is one thing, but the rude attitude about it is just even more disappointing. If you want a 10/10 atmosphere, go! Just don t get too attached to any menu items or dare ask about them when they re gone.

Beautiful hidden bar with amazing drinks. The manager was kind enough to let my fiancé and I take some beautiful engagement photos there. They came out stunning the beauty of this place with all color made the photos come out moody and dark just what I wanted. Thank you!

Don t go here if you look out of place or have an out of state ID they are the rudest speakeasy I ve ever been to and will never come back again. Do not waste your time here! The bartender didn t even say hello, say what and paid over 40 dollars for two drinks. Do not waste your time or money at this establishment.

I love this place for a variety of reasons. This is not a bro bar, there are no TVs playing sports, no underwear commemoratively hanging from the ceiling, the music and lights are turned down low. This is a place to come, sit, and enjoy a great drink and a conversation with a date or small group of friends. It does get busy at times, but just be patient. Drew and Derrick see you and will get to you.

The amber room is certainly worth checking out! A speakeasy style cocktail lounge, gives off a great calm and chill vibe. The manager, Homer (like the Iliad, not The Simpsons), stopped by to introduce himself and see how we were enjoying our evening and ended up chatting for a bit. Great service! The bartenders Derrick and Drew are top notch! They know there stuff and are great to sit and chat with while having a drink. I even learned about some drinks I had never had. This place just feels right, give it a try!

Me and my buddy found this place (it s a speakeasy so no clear signage) just to grab a few cocktails. This unique restaurant shares property with the Amber Room. The name of the restaurant is Wishbone & Flint. My wife and I had a great time. We order the same dish, a fantastic fillete mignon accompanied with a nice bottle of Pinot Noir from Williamette Valley branded Inscription. Mr Chad served our table with elega ce and good taste. We are glad we decided for this joint. I recommend it.

From the moment you step through the conspicuous wooden door labeled Seize the Night, to the dark ambiance, stone walls, and unique decorations, you feel transported to another era. Derrick (and Sean) went above and beyond in taking care of our group of 9 celebrating my brothers birthday. Their attention to detail and friendly service added to the overall enjoyment of the evening. We had whiskey and tequila cocktails, even managing to drain the bars supply of watermelon juice. The food was equally fantastic with steak skewers featuring chimichurri sauce and truffle fries with curry ketchup. A truly great experience!

The Amber Room was the most grounding, peaceful and intimate experience I ve ever had in a cocktail bar. We came on a very slow night but I had a wonderful time getting to know the bartenders and tasting the deliciously crafted cocktails. Derrick is such and entertainer and Dee is the bees knees! Fun speakeasy in Fort Worth. Having never been, getting inside was a novel thing. Once in youd be like, ok, its a bar. Its so much more. The bartenders are amazing. The work and care the put into their craft is easily noticeable. This isnt just cranking out drinks with better ingredients. Its not a painstaking art show either. Like all good cocktail bars, they have their menu, and then you can just trust the bartender with a general flavor profile and let them give you something amazing youd never thought of otherwise.

This is one of the best bars I have visited in DFW. The drinks are original, taste unique, and the atmosphere is a calming-vintage. Derek the bartender (hopefully correctly spelled) is very personable and made the experience that much better. Its not a rowdy bar. Its one where you want to take a date or discuss something beyond sports. I purposely left out how to find the door so you can explore for yourself. Youll know when you find it.

The Amber room has some of the most interesting cocktails in Ft Worth. The service can be a little slow if theyre busy but worth the wait. Nice little hole in the wall but my rating is based solely on the lamb shank. Cooked perfectly but Massively over seasoned to the point it was inedible. Next time try lemon or orange zest, salt and pepper, and let the lamb do the heavy lifting. The cease salad was a nice twist on a classic.

Took me entirely too long to check this place out! Nice speakeasy style bar attached to wishbone and flynt. Excellent adult vibe with classic decor and excellent friendly service. The space though small, is divided well to provide some privacy while still allowing multiple guests to enjoy, thoughtfully laid out. The drink choices feature a lot of whiskey based drinks which is a bonus for me and their small bites are suitable to pair. Theyre drinks are boozy so i forgot to take more photos after just one ;) but check out their Willy Nelson, summer special, and PLD. I didn t drink all those in one sitting BTW :p

The Amber Room is a speakeasy done right. Located in the Historic Southside neighborhood of Fort Worth, its a cozy spot hidden at the back of Wishbone & Flynt. Its a hidden gem that youll want to tell all your friends about. The ambiance is inviting and there is plenty of seating. There is seating outback as well for those wanting outdoor space. The decor is faux-Victorian/midcentury that feels otherwordly. No rock is left unturned as even the bathroom follows the general theme of gaslamp fantasy. Drinks are creative, innovative, and delicious. At a price point of ~$15 per drink that is quite reasonable for the work put in. One drink that stuck out to me was old-fashioned with a chocolate liqueur that I dont seem to remember the name to. Yet honestly, one can get almost anything off the menu and be impressed. Bartenders seem to know their regulars well and take time to talk to guests. The crowd is both sophisticated and refined. I cannot recommend this place enough. 5/5. Favorited for DFW area.

Amazing place with fantastic drinks. Christian knows what hes doing behind the bar for sure! They have some high end hard to find burbons and wiskeys! Love the speakeasy theme and all the details right down to the bathrooms! Awesome establishment with an amazing bartender! I will be back for sure!

Ok, this place is so cool! Its like the best kept secret but you want everyone to know about it. Its kind of like a speakeasy with intimate seating areas, low lights & soulful tunes. Service was spectacular & the drinks were fun & delicious. Highly recommend if youre looking for a refined atmosphere

We had our daughters engagement party here. From beginning to end Kyle and Chef were amazing and so easy to work. I have dealt with many venues in the past and have never had the outstanding service that was given. They were always about making us happy and didn t want us to worry about a thing, all they wanted was for us to enjoy the night. The selection of appetizers that Chef came up with was delicious! If you are looking for a unique venue , quality food and drinks you won t be disappointed!! And the service amazing !!!

Awesome lounge, with a great atmosphere. Cristian (the bartender) asked what I like to drink and made me a superb drink of his own creation. If you like mezcal, have him make you a spicy hummingbird, sooo good!! Looking forward to the next time I come back!

Had a little trouble finding the place but the hunt was WORTH it! Christian was behind the bar and took such great care of us. He made us an off the menu drink, and made sure our experience was extra special. Check it out!!! P.S. the bathrooms are tight.
