The Hyatt Place Fort Worth/TCU hotel is a great location for TCU-related stays in Fort Worth. It also has a great bar on top of the roof called Lot 12. It was at Lot 12 that we decided to host a graduation party for my daughter who graduated from TCU this past May. I just want to say how fantastic the party was. The venue itself is fabulous with great views. Its split between A/C space and outdoor space, both of which are nice to have depending on the weather. The party coordinator Reagan was the best. She made it easy to pull off the party even though we are from out-of-town. Reagan was flexible enough to accommodate our food choices, and the food itself was tasty and enjoyable. The beverage staff behind the bar was top shelf and smoothly kept the beverages flowing. All things considered, the party was a smashing event due in large part to the staff at Lot 12. We couldnt have been happier with the outcome. You dont necessarily need to throw a party at Lot 12, although if you did it will be a hoot. Its worth paying a visit there for a cocktail or two before you move on to your next stop. Thank you, Lot 12 for making a great memory for our daughters graduation, and thank you Regan for your help in pulling it off.

Having been here over nine times, at this point my experience has not changed one bit. The food is always excellent, the atmosphere is always excellent, and most importantly the staff is always excellent. I just want to deliver on how inviting this place is, there have been times where I have walked in to this place with straight up basketball shorts and a graphic tee and sitting next to a family with a suit and tie apparel and received the same service and attention that the other family has received. I dont know what it is about the staff here but they truly are some great people. Every single one of them having a great conversation and attitude. Even if the food wasnt great, the atmosphere wasnt excellent, your staff and how you treat people Is always going to be a driving force as to why people come back. However, the food is excellent, the atmosphere is excellent So this place is all around just the best place to be at. I have seen people of all types of background come to this venue and be treated equally. I truly feel that this place is never dismissive of anybody and makes it a point to let everybody know just relax and take it easy. Make no doubt about it. This is the premier spot to hang out and chill in Fort Worth, I hope this place remains as nice and inviting as it is for years to come. I will always be back here and make this my number one destination for sports viewing and just to hang out with friends. My only complaint is feeling bad for people who didnt get to experience this place prior to its opening. Fort Worth was in desperate need of a place like this. Shout Out TO THE BEST BAR STAFF OUT THERE!

Fantastic service, great food, wonderful staff, and excellent management! We held a 50th class reunion (Fort Worth Paschal) at Lot 12 in April 2024 for 235 classmates. The managers, Addison and Reagan, were wonderful to work with over the year leading up to the reunion, helping us walk through each step of the evening plans. We reserved the venue because of the beautiful outdoor patio and the fantastic views of our high school, TCU, and downtown Fort Worth. Unfortunately, it rained over 3 that day, but with the great help of the management and staff of Lot 12, the party was smoothly moved inside, and it couldnt have been better! We had two dinner buffet lines set up and we heard nothing but compliments on all the food items. The Purple Panther Margarita was well received as our specialty drink. Every single person working for Lot 12 was friendly and helpful. We would like to give shout outs to: Alex J, Alex H, Simon, and Cat for their hard work behind the bar making sure those margaritas kept flowing. And to Patrick and Steven for working the entire space to make sure the buffets were well stocked, and that whatever we needed was handled. We cannot give enough compliments to the staff and management of Lot 12 for helping us put on a memorable 50th reunion!

Had awesome interactions with everyone @ this bar. From the managers, to the bartenders to the kitchen staff. Everyone was upbeat and friendly, made the atmosphere reflect their attitudes. They make a frog 75 drink that s a must try! Nice place to hangout, have drinks and food or golf @ the golf suites, sit out on the patio, watch a game with friends. Our experience has been absolutely amazing, and it was all Alex H. and the team. Venue: Beautiful rooftop location! Its attached to a hotel so that threw us off initially cause of parking. Amazing view. Food: Absolutely PHENOMENAL! We got Brussel Sprouts (life changing with the sauce - definitely top), Rodeo burger barcoa (really good and filling), and the spicy BBQ wings ([she] loved them. They were sooo good. Drinks: Strong and affordable. The average specialty drink is $10-$16. However, you can get whatever you want. Customer Service: Alex H. was our bartender. Definitely ask for him, hes from Oregon. He was very relatable, had amazing suggestions, and made our first time visit amazing. Then on top of that, Patrick (Pat) was the all around handy man and had amazing customer service when setting up the heaters outside (not for us but for others but even seeing that interaction was amazing) and for taking our finished plates and food. Overall: this place is a place Id recommend people visit at least once in their life in theyre in the area. Will definitely become a regular spot for us. Just an amazing gem overall. Parking: Parking is the only downside. You can pay for valet $18 or street park. We street parked because were not paying for parking at a hotel. Thats the only major downside.

Atmosphere is great. Service is trash. Food is middle of the road. I came here early with my wife and kids before the TCU game. Got a great table. It wasnt busy. I stood at the bar 14 minutes before I was even acknowledged. The bar tenders move SO PAINFULLY SLOW its UNREAL. And if theyre busy with an order if takes 1 .2 seconds to look up and say I see ya, Ill be with ya as soon as I can. But they didnt. Youre ignored and get to live with it and maybe theyll get to you maybe they wont. Pretty sad in 2023 the bartenders are trained here to use the ol timey portray were a snooty upscale business by treating your customers that they should feel privileged to even be here- to attempt to look all exclusive its like bro, youre a bar on the top of a hotel, chill. A nice personality would change this 3 stars. But no. Just another bar with an attitude.

Meh. Nice views but very bright bar if they dimmed the lights a bit you could see the skyline better (it was 95 degrees so zero interest in going outside) And bizarrely a uniformed police officer was skulking around inside the bar. That s a buzz kill (and I m 50+ yrs old). Definitely not a college bar. Great potential but certainly more fun to be had elsewhere around TCU.

Enjoyable rooftop indoor/outdoor bar. The menu isnt particularly expensive but what they do have is competently executed. This isnt high dining, its a hotel-and-university place for a beer, a chat, or an informal date. In the spring or fall the rooftop outdoor space is a lot of fun and well appointed whether you have two for a romantic dinner or six buddies drinking a pint. The interior is tasteful with a dozen beers on tap and a basic selection of mixed drinks if thats more your style. The place is often quiet on weeknights, tucked away as it is on top of the Hyatt Place hotel near TCU. Parking: The lot 12 near TCU is mostly used as parking for the Hyatt hotel and will need to be paid for - either self pay or valet for a few dollars more.

Ive come twice and will probably be back again soon. There is a wide variety of seating options and a great for groups or a date spot. There are a few game options, tvs, and loud-ish music for entertainment. Food is limited- more fingerfood and snacks than an actual meal. I think the Chicken Quesadilla is the most hearty of the food options. Now the drinks- this is why I return. There are some great options and the bartenders are excellent.

Nice rooftop bar. In a hotel. Hard to say this is going to be a locals go to bar. The set up for the outside bar is awesome! Inside, small and less desirable. Bar service was TERRIBLE. I MEAN TERRIBLE. We were there for a birthday and had half of the inside bar roped off for us, but the bartenders BARELY came over. When we left, out bill was $150 for 2 double jack and cokes and 2 double Titos and sprite! Thats CRAZY! Wanted to double check the ticket, but.. you guessed it. Bartenders NEVER came back over. Wasnt worth waiting another hour for them to come back over. The service is a shame for this bar, because the outdoor rooftop is actually really cute and could be quite a nice experience.

This is nice rooftop bar. Great food, Needs more outdoor TV s. If anyone needs a Job please go help them out! The servers were great but the food delivery needed to be better. Mixed up orders and sent food to wrong tables. Again anyone needing a Job in Ft. Worth they need HELP!

Enjoyed a delicious cocktail tonight with my husband. It was too hot to sit outside but the inside of the bar was cool and the views were nice. Staff was very friendly and love that the bar was TCU themed and so we re the drinks .

A friend passed away and a celebration of life get together with friends and family was held here. The sunset views were beautiful. There was plenty of seating for about one hundred people. Great heavy snacks of slider cheeseburgers, guacamole, chips, hot sauce, wings etc. Bar tenders were there to take care of your needs. It was a very nice experience.

Horrible, been there handful of times and always they have crazyyyyyy wait time after you order drink. No server comes to your table to take your order, and its every single time. Really disappointed. Even on weekdays when its dead slow too, lol.

Im always a fan of this place. Great vibe. Awesome service! I even saw a rainbow out the window last time I was there. The folks with me loved their drinks. Mine was ok but wasnt their fault. Im low carbing so I dont have many great tasting options since diet soda tastes yucky to me. I never pass up an invitation to do a happy hour here with folks. Beautiful location, great experience.

LOT 12 the new hot spot!! This roof top bar is the place to be and see. The spectacular view and new lounge furniture make this setting comfortable for all occasions Date Night (you can sit in one of the intimate corners) Fun with Friends (games -Foosball, corn hole) Happy Hour, any occasion really you cant go wrong. Drinks, food and waitstaff will not disappoint. Lets start with DRINKS, full bar so anything is possible including wine, beer and champagne. FOOD well I am extremely picky!! I have tried EVERYTHING on the menu and there is not one bad item. I do have three favorites, chicken sandwich, wedge salad and bread pudding bits!!! I think the most popular is the Tail Gate Fries. I wont lie they are pretty good. WAITSTAFF just when I thought customer service was DEAD, LOT 12 has done a phenomenal job of keeping it alive. The best customer service around!! Kianna Ray (Former TCU Womens Basketball) one of the original wait staff members. (Yes, I am giddy and starstruck every time see waits on me.) She is supper friendly and I never find my drink empty. You will also see other TCU students/former students on the wait staff. Bottom line, you cannot go wrong checking this place out. I am pretty sure you will keep coming back. Tell Kianna I said Hi.
