Tina Ma offers children TRUE art classes that teach technique that far surpass any art class/camp we ve attempted outside of a school setting. Our children came home with works of art that truly amazed us. She also takes time to educate parents about each lesson. Ms. Ma, THANK YOU for sharing your passion and expertise! Izzy and Aria LOVED your camp and enjoyed YOU so much! Both are asking to take regular lessons! What a gem you are!

My daughters have been taking classes with Tina for two years now and we are so glad we found her! They look forward to art class and have grown so much under her guidance. Tina is a very gifted teacher and a lovely person. I appreciate that she sees each student individually, teaches principles of art, and doesnt jump in to do the work for them but guides them so theyre gaining experience. She makes her studio a happy and inviting space!

I signed my daughter up for an art camp at MYT Art Studio and she absolutely loved it! It was a small class with a great teacher. She learned sketching, oil pastels, made a clay pot and plate, printmaking, and painting with acrylics. If your child has any artistic interest, I highly recommend this art studio for classes!

This is the best art studio! Tina teaches detailed technique, went through a variety of materials for just one week of camp. Great camp for my middle schooler to go through. She loved it and the art she made was amazing! Would come here again!

We travelled from out of town to attend the one-week summer camp at MYT Art Studio Gallery. Our girls loved it. They learned a lot techniques in various art materials and had a lot of fun as well. Tina is super passionate about art, experienced in teaching art classes and very patient with kids. We were so fortunately to have a great week at the MYT Art Studio & Gallery.

Tina is a gem of a person and such an amazing art teacher. My child has been learning the fundamentals of art. She has practiced everything from understanding the levels of graphite pencils, to thinking about line, shape, form, and shadows, to practicing different painting techniques. Tina builds the skill set week after week. This class is tons of fun, and is so much more than your normal art/crafting class. If your child (or yourself) is interested in art, this is your place and Tina is your teacher!

Well appointed, bright, and inviting studio. Bonafide art teacher with a curriculum that insures strong student outcomes. Small classes with opportunities for personal and respectful criticism. Best of all - Tina has a warm and cheerful heart for people and a passion for art. This is my fourth and only successful search for a qualified and worthwhile intro course for multimedia for adults.

Tina Ma caters to students of all ages. I wanted to take an art class with my 6-year old son, and she accommodated both our WIDE age gap as well as our busy summer schedule. Ms. Tina introduces and demonstrates every step, using high quality materials each week: pencil shading and coloring, oil pastels, charcoal, acrylic, watercolor, and mixed media. She takes time to individually meet each student at their level, both encouraging and challenging us to make improvements. We look forward to our 2-hour Saturdays to connect with our work and each other. BONUS: She speaks Mandarin Chinese with us, so my son learns beyond art skills! Thank you, Ms. Tina for your experience, patience, kindness, and calm music every week. We look forward to continuing in the fall. My son reviewed with, I JUST LOVE IT! I love MYT Art Studio & Gallery. Yeh-Ting (Tina) Ma is not only an amazing and talented artist in her own right, she is the rare artist who understands how to teach the fundamentals of art to novices like myself. During the pandemic I began painting, but lacked any formal training of drawing and the various mediums and styles. I found MYT Art Studios and went to meet Tina. I was impressed with her studio and her body of work, I was also encouraged by her charm, humor and talent. My Tuesday class from 2-4 pm is one of the highlights of my week. Tina plans each class to help us to slowly build our confidence and skill. The small classes and individual attention makes for a joyous art experience. I highly recommend MYT Art Studio & Gallery to anyone looking to learn drawing, painting, creating beauty and knowing the pleasure of expression in art and life. Tinas patience, skill, talent and kindness make the class an absolute joy. I will be signing up for another class and hope to continue to learn from Tina and grow as an artist. My daughter has been studying under Ms. Tina for two years. She has loved participating in summer camps and after school classes. As a parent, I love that Ms. Tina works with the ability of the artist and teaches in a way so as to grow their talent, taking them to the next level in their individual ability. My daughter has grown her talents in drawing/sketching/painting and has learned several other skills, as well! Her art has been entered in various contests and has won several awards - all pieces created under the tutelage of Ms. Tina. It is exciting to see our childs talents being taken to a new level. It is exciting being able to see her portfolio grow as her dream of a future in art is nurtured.

This has been one of the best decisions we have made as parents for our 14 year old daughter. First I will say that MYT Art Studio is personally staffed by its owner, Tina, and she is exceptional as an art teacher. Tina spends her time personally with each of her students. Their patience and kindness makes the student feel comfortable in their art learning process. The classes are in small groups but Tina attends to each child, young person or adult according to their level. My daughter has been there for a year now and we will continue.

My tween daughter attended two weeks of camp during the summer of 2021 at MYT studio. First off, the owner, Tina, is super friendly and professional. She invited us to tour the studio prior to enrolling in camp. The studio is clean and neat, despite the use of paint and art materials. It is a great environment for small, personal classes. Each day, Tina guided the students through various styles of art, the use of a variety of mediums and techniques, and the creation of their own unique piece. I was repeatedly blown away at the art work my daughter produced during her days at camp. Tina facilitated the understanding and mastery of the mediums and techniques, and encouraged the students to express their own unique creativity. My daughter had a fantastic experience and I look forward to her learning more from Tina. I completely recommend MYT Art for classes!

My 7 year old daughter had the pleasure of taking 3 weeks of art camp with owner Ms. Tina Ma in June. I can not say enough about how wonderful the experience was. My daughter learned something new every day and had a ball playing with professional quality art supplies and creating many new pieces each week. Ms. Ma kept all the classes small and intimate- allowing for a lot of individual help with art pieces. My daughter learned many different techniques from watercolor, negative space, working with modeling clay, line drawings, still life, acrylic paints, and much more. Ms. Ma even took them on a field trip to the Modern Museum! We will definitely be registering for after school classes this fall. Ms. Ma is so patient, kind, and knowledgeable. We appreciate Ms. Ma sharing her love of art!

I found MYT Art Studio and started taking classes with Tina. I have really enjoyed the classes. With Covid, we always wear masks and practice distancing. I am a beginner art student and I have been experimenting with different mediums. I would highly recommend this studio for a beginner or for a growing artist. Very talented and a good teacher!

Definitely a place to learn, practice, and explore new or old techniques and habits regardless of your age. Personally, its a great afterschool class for my kid to build artistic technique and explore art culture. Its located in a great area! Close to restaurants, parks, museum, zoo etc. And for the price, you really cant beat private tutoring...
