Great little joint on the lake! Cold beers, tasty burgers, and killer onion rings. Always a fun spot to land after riding the motorcycles through the winding backroads. Vegetarian options: Not a great place for vegetarians unless you are cool with side salads and deep fried items.

Would love to come here while the suns up since its off the lake. They were closing in about an hour or so, played corn hole, and went inside. The atmosphere was clean, and they have live bands perform on certain evenings. I was a little underwhelmed with the food. Everything is fried, even the sides, which I didnt like, not many options.

I go on Saturday evening and occasionally on Sundays to listen to live music. While there I usually eat dinner. Fried Catfish you can t go wrong. Fried cheese curds rock when sharing with friends. I ve had a BLT that was delicious and their fried pickles. It s an easy going place with bartenders that make great drinks and more than adequate quality food. Go and enjoy on a Saturday night!

Such a beautiful place. Our waitress was amazing! The food was great. We also go the watermelon margaritas and the key lime Hawaiian. Everything was delicious! Highly recommend this place. Kid-friendliness: My daughter loved how cheesy the grilled cheese was and my son love the appetizer wings. He ended up just eating them as his entree.

The Point has a wonderful view of the Lake Worth. There is indoor & outdoor eating. The menu is primarily fried foods (chicken & catfish) & salad. I ordered the chicken strip combo. Cant say I was impressed. Chicken strips, French fries, cole slau. Also ordered fried mushrooms & cheese sticks. Another member of our party ordered the fried catfish. I know fried foods are fried but these seemed a little too greasy for my taste. Perhaps the grease needed to be changed. There is also a bar. Im not sure how long the business has been open. It just lacked a personality. The food was adequate. I wish things had been better. I remember 48 years ago when it was Jobis El Campo. It had a little more class (tables with tablecloths, carpet, full meals, really good rolls). I know this is not the same place & I wasnt expecting it to be the same, but I was expecting a little more.

Ill preface this with we are visiting the area and have been pretty disappointed by most of the restaurants that we have tried. We gave this place a try, mainly because being from Florida, we wanted the water view. While certainly not an upscale place, we felt right at home here. Wait staff is friendly, prices are reasonable for what you get, the food is well prepared and you get a nice view of the lake. We visit this area once or twice a year, so we will return here on our next trip to the area.

Hosted my husband s surprise party. Had about 20 people. Garrett went above and beyond and managed our very chaotic and disorganized group with ease. He didn t write a single thing down, and didn t make a single mistake. He was very attentive, even though he had multiple other tables AND I think he was the only server. He remained professional but the conversation wasn t stiff and awkward, like many servers. He 100% added to the atmosphere while still completing his job perfectly. The drinks were lacking. My husband s friend ordered Vegas Bombs for the two of them. One tasted like straight vodka, the other tasted like flavored Red Bull, with no alcohol. I had a drink that tasted very watered down, and another that tasted like 80% tequila. The bartender needs some serious retraining. I m also pretty sure she s the one that lost my reservation to begin with. The food is good. I love their BLTs. It s all reasonably priced. The pickles are good and crispy, but way too salty. They d be so perfect with just a bit less salt. Altogether, a great experience. Great view. Hoping to make this a somewhat regular hangout, as long as Garret is serving. Kid-friendliness: We sat outside. Tons of room for kids to run and be kids without disrupting other guests. Just keep an eye on them, as the lake is nearby, and it s outdoors so bugs are present.

Amazing view of the most default for ever chemical cant eat out of it lake. Food was great. Get the bacon cheese burger or the BLT. However the location is nothing with out GARRETT. Garrett is the server you need, hands down. Why write your order down when he has impeccable memory. My party of like 13 adults, 6 kids was handled beautifully by Garrett. He didnt wary from professional conversation as if he came to dinner with you and then flip it back to getting new drinks and running his food. Top tier, God tier. Side note, please stop salting the fried pickles like youre preserving them for a long winter. Kid-friendliness: Please watch your kids on the back porch area. The view does come with a risk. Its not the responsibility of the staff to ensure your toddler dolphin dives into the lake from the cliff at the bottom of the hill.

The name says it. SERVICE WAS ON POINT, FOOD IS MADE TO ORDER. The Onion rings are hand cut and breaded with the chefs own blend, the Fried Pickles were crispy and crunchy, can honestly say no other Chain restraunt can match that. Ordering the catfish, the waiter sat the expectation it was cooked to order so the serving time was longer. We had no problem with the wait, atmosphere was relaxing, when the plates were brought out the presentation of the food, ON POINT. HOT CRISPY CATFISH, flavor was so wonderfully blended no lemon or tartar sauce needed . I will say, the tarter sauce is fresh made with a hint of dill. Over all, this is the place to go enjoy and get the best fried catfish in Fort Worth.

Something must have happened to this place since April 2023. The roof is destroyed and leaking BADLY. The restaurant smelled musty. Many said the leaking had been going on for months . A small staff worked tirelessly to move tables so the water did not drip on our table. Our young sweet waiter also worked hard to keep cups and glasses full. We were there 12/15/23 during happy hour Happy hour has no food on a happy hour menu, only drinks. I loved the beer on keg selections. The onion rings were great. BUT our table agreed the food we ordered off the main menu was bland. The table plastic cloths were dingy and the staff had to get napkins from the bar. Silverware was wrapped in a paper that was stiff from having been in contact with water. It was a dive dining experience and that s a shame with such a lovely view of the lake!!!

Whether a spot to get together with friends, a date or a multi-generational gathering with small children (we had 9 folks and three four year olds for a birthday party), you absolutely can t beat the sunsets (see pic) on the water. The colors are magical! You can even eat outdoors, includes a bar in the back. Extra friendly service with cocktails and beers on the menu. Come here when you are craving a burger, chicken tenders or catfish (healthy salad options available too). Lots of appetizing starters. This is the place to come to appreciate life, food, and people with nature s perfect backdrop (restaurant lined with windows). There is a stage in the dining room too! This place should be condemned. It looks like it s falling apart . The food choices are limited and over cooked . The employees (cooks and another waitress who had a hat on ) smelled of marijuana and walking through smoking on their vapes . Our waitress was amazing she was friendly and super attentive . I forget her name she is a short,dark long brown hair girl who had arrow tattoo on her arm. She was super friendly with everyone and made sure our drinks were filled . That was our first visit we have since been back and I m sad to say it will be our last . The same said waitress and looked to be cook white mail who looked like he was on drugs were coming from behind the trash dumpster and the smell of weed almost knocked us down . We will not be bringing our family back here .

Close to the lake and offers great pricing on draft beers, but everything needs to be cleaned. The tables are all full of dust and dirt, which has me worried how the kitchen is kept if the dining area is presented that way. A couple of years ago this was one of my favorite places to unwind. In the last year I have been here 3 times. Mothers Day Eve 2022 a horrible experience, waitresss was having a bad day and decided our table would get her bad side. Once the manager got involved she walked out and quit. 2nd time kitchen was down so could only order fried food, and 3rd time was on Wednesday 7/5. We Googled before driving there. Walked in to eat at bar at 7:30. Googled had on website closes at 9. Bartender said its been a slow day we are closing early today 8 oclock. Drunk manager argued with paying customer why he could not turn up volume on jukebox. Why doesnt he fix it? Have been going to this bar/ restaurant since I was 16 years old. Now 74.5 years old. My first time here I was very disappointed. The food was not good, very bland and basic. Over priced. The thing that upset me the most was a lady from the bar inside came outside to where my boyfriend and I were sitting and said can I see your ID? My boss at the bar seems to think you re 12. It was extremely rude and he was the only black person there at the time which made things even more negative. The margaritas tasted like just mixer and the chips that came with the cold queso were stale. Our salads were awful and not worth $13. I wish a manager would contact me and make things right. This place is pretty cool. Great view of the lake with live music and karaoke sometimes. The food is great and at a good price. They are short staffed and we often have to wait a long time for our drinks and food. Go check this place out!

Made it back out last weekend! Service was good and the catfish was as amazing as ever!. It is a great location and excellent for food and drink after a day out on the lake. They have several slips where you can pull in with the boat. They have some of the best fried catfish around and the filets are large. Parking: Four slips to park your boat.

Great place for a beer, very laid back atmosphere. Sit by the lake or inside. Our food was good, not great. Portions are enormous. We ordered cajun style shrimp and it was slightly seasoned. It could have used a lot more cajun seasoning. You get 9 decent sized shrimp and 2 sides. The other diner in our party got the fish tacos, these are fried catfish also with 2 sides. The catfish was also quite bland. I should have asked for hot sauce, but made do with salt and pepper. For our sides, we tried beans, green beans, fries, and fried okra. Okra was good, green beans good but basic, fries were fine and beans very good.

This place is very negative .just awful. Almost to the point I nearly flipped out. The attitudes were off the roof and they got smart with me. I ordered through DoorDash and my order was not ready. They told me not to ever come back again. Will do! Negative atmosphere. They deserve ZERO stars

Absolutely love the band that was there tonight. Nö Plans...The hostess was amazing. Really kind young blond I didnt get her name. The bartender was a little grumpy and slow, and inaccurate she kept forgetting to give me the lime I asked for for a friend. But maybe she was new, or busy with the other four people that were sitting in that area. I dont think she liked the music to much. The service was not bad enough that I wouldnt go back there. I will indeed go back there if Nö Plans is there definitely. But even if they are not. I used to be a waitress. and I know not all days can be perfect.

Super disappointed. Catfish was great, but service was horrible. Our waitress didnt want to wait on us. Left us, a party of 4, waiting for 15 minutes just to bring our 4 drinks and 30 minutes to bring our appetizer of onion rings. When we finally got the onion rings, they were cold and the waitress assumed we were done ordering and immediately started walking away. We called after her to say we actually wanted to order dinner too, and she reluctantly took our order. The manager was kind enough to remove the onion rings from our ticket, but as we were leaving and walking through the parking lot, some employees including our waitress, 2 other women and a man, were staring us down angrily and the man flipped us off with his middle finger. Who in the world would treat paying customers like that? So sad.

So I took my friends to this place randomly after I found it on Google maps. The lake view is really nice during sunset.10 out of 10. The food was a 8 out of 10. The service was 9 out of 10. The only reason it wasnt 10 was because they got part of our order wrong but they made up for it by giving us half off our whole order! Definitely worth the trip. Will be coming back often.

Entering the restaurant the vibe was really off. No one was welcoming at all. All the employees kind of looked over you and I was the one who had to approach and ask questions if I seat myself or do I wait to get sat. I sat at the outside patio there was no clean tables and had to wait for someone to clean up the mess which took them awhile to do .And for some reason I felt like it was forced and they didnt want to clean it up anyway. The view of the lake was beautiful to look at though. The server we had was okay she did her job like she was suppose to but nothing above and beyond not that I was expecting her to but you can definitely feel when someone wants to be there and when someone doesnt ....she did what she had to do because her tip was depending on it I felt like. The food was great but overall the the first impression and the vibe of this place from everyone was trash.

This place is GREAT at ignoring customers what a wast of wonderful space I m not sure what has happened over the years, but we keep giving it one last try . LOVE view of the lake, but that s about it Monday night 7pm two employees (?) live music nice weather (67 degrees), so we sat on outside, but not before we knew to grab a brew. We decided to time it. Arrived at 710pm. As of now it s 745, and NOT ONE PERSON came to see if we wanted ANYTHING. (Prices have gone up, quality has not-from the last time we were here) We ll be spending our money at another restaurant. Don t get me wrong: GREAT place to sit and drink, but be prepared to get your own drinks & not eat anything I would post pics of food, but no one ever came to take our order! This place is not near as good as it use to be a few years ago. Not sure what s happened but just not as good. I d say it s good for a drink and appetizer but not a meal. I got the cheese burger with fries. It was ok, nothing special. The fries were pretty good though. The price was way high for what you get. My mom got the catfish. It had a very strong smell. Catfish does not usually smell like that. Either way she could not finish. She got the pinto beans with it and they were inedible to us. Just not good. Can t quite put my finger on it. Then the salt and pepper shakers were nasty. They had someone s crusty old dirty grim on them and need to be cleaned. The final straw was the excessive loud music coming from the kitchen. It did not fit the restaurant atmosphere and it was the cooks music. I didn t go there to hear their music. I ll come back for a drink and see the nice view of the lake but not to sit and eat like a restaurant. I think they have live music that might be cool to see.

I ordered the grilled shrimp, with black eyed peas and mashed taters, everything was good but the black-eyed peas, they were flavorless. My gf ordered the fried catfish with fried okra and coleslaw, the fried cat fish was overbattered and severely undercooked, with my gfs medical issues, that could of taken her out, but the waitress was great she was very attentive and nice, she even took off the undercooked catfish off our ticket. The food is over priced, will not return.

Oct 2022 update: Increasing from 1 to 3 stars. We went on a Monday evening in Oct and the service was super fast. We ordered the fried seafood combo and it was delicious. Im happy to see this place getting better. There was live music inside, but we sat outside to enjoy the weather and views. We took our boat there & the cleats that you tie up to need reenforced. Would also help if there was lighting on the walking path from the dock. We will be back again soon to support this cool local business. 2021- summer 2022 review: Dont come here hungry or thirsty. Weve been here 3 times over the last 4 months and every single time the service is the worst Ive ever experienced. It took 2+ hours for 4 people to get seated, have dinner, and receive the check. Drink refills are completely ignored. Food is pretty good. Food takes an hour to come out. They make their frozen drinks in a blender that doesnt crush ice small enough to fit through a straw. The check takes about 30 minutes to be run and returned. They do have great views. They are not consistent with their hours of operation and are severely under staffed. The steps to get from the boat dock to the restaurant are scary, steep, and there is no railing. I hope this place gets better soon. Has a ton of potential. Parking: There is boat parking on a dock down below for ~4 boats.
