It s hard to get across how amazing someone is when they worked so tirelessly and selflessly to get my young family into our first home in a Google review, but I will certainly try. Crystal and Jay were absolutely amazing. This was our first time purchasing a home, so we needed to be educated, guided, coached, and encouraged. They were patient when it was probably hard to be (buying a home is hard stuff ), they connected us with ONLY the best people (lender, warranty, insurance, movers, etc.), they advocated for us when they thought something should be done a certain way, and they made us feel valued and cared for while we traversed the scary terrain that is first-time-home-buying. Need an example? I have many, but here are just two: 1) Crystal went out of her way (and it was a long way), MULTIPLE times to show us homes quickly, even coming out just to let our family see homes my wife and I had already viewed with her. Not to mention she so kindly pushed us to reconsider homes that we may have been too quick to turn away from. We ended up purchasing one of those very homes, and we couldn t be more pleased. We loved her energy and excitement on closing day 2) Jay knew that our future yard needed work, so he donated hoses and timers and got it approved with the previous owners to water twice per day until we took over ownership of the home. Even today, he asked me how our yard was doing, and he offered MORE help to get it where it needs to be. Talk about caring for the customer with a servant s heart. They were our best cheerleaders, and I would work with them over and over and over again. Someday when we need to upsize, Crystal and Jay will be the first people I call. Our experience working with Jay to sell our home was definitely an experience. I ve never worked with someone that s gone so above and beyond to make sure that every little detail was taken care of! Helping us with projects that needed to be done, repair references, organizing, cleaning crews, even getting the mail! His concierge approach to selling homes is tremendous. Not only was he always respectful of our privacy he made sure that we were very well taken care of and listened to our needs, he really knows what he s talking about and with his guidance got us exactly what we wanted! The Right Agent Really Does Make a Difference I used to think that real estate agents were all the same and all they really did was put your home on MLS. Well that is until something goes sideways. We want to compliment Jay Marks for making the sale of our house easy and stress free. His professional approach to selling our house began before we signed the contract when he first presented the contract and gave us as much time as we needed to feel comfortable signing the contract. After the contract was signed, the auxiliary professionals began rolling in. We had a phenomenal team of stagers who came in and help us make the house look beautiful. Then we had a photographer and videographer who took great pictures and made a video that reflected a bit of our personalities while also making the house look attractive to potential buyers. Both the photos and video were done very professionally. Fortunately with all the advertising that was done on social media and word of mouth, we received multiple offers. Jay very objectively laid out all the offers to us with clear details which made it easy to choose who the future buyer would be. Jay consistently communicated with all parties involved in the sale of our house which allowed for the closing to take place on time. My wife and I started looking for a home about 7 months ago in the Flower Mound/ Lewisville area.This was to be our first home after renting for the last 5 years with our 2 boys and didnt want to be light-years away from their friends. We found it tough as everyone else is right now. Houses are being bought up left and right in the DFW area and its a huge challenge to get selected for a home with 20+ offers on every home for sale. Our friends had bought a home through Jay and his amazing realtor Nina as did their parents so they came highly recommended. We started the process of being approved and getting all sorts of paperwork for them. Nina made this so easy for us. She was constantly in contact with us via text or emails about what we were looking for and also to get to know us a bit better. After doing the initial stuff we were ready to start looking at homes with a price range set. Nina prepped us for what was to come. How many offers homes would be getting and the frustration that could follow. She was honest and forth coming which I loved about her. And boy was she right. First offer, no chance. Huge amount over asking price offered. It was a big eye opener. We now knew we were in for a wild ride trying to find a home. During the next few months Nina met every request we had. Every home we wanted to see Nina made it happen as soon as possible. We have some crazy schedules but she was always going the extra mile to meet us. We would walk into some homes and basically be ready to walk right out but she always had something else to follow up with and every home got better and better. After many offers and many frustrated nights we finally came across a home that we really wanted. Same school district, same distance to work, amazing area. Nina said lets go all in. And as of today, my wife and I signed our final papers at the closing for that house and we cannot thank Nina, Jay and the entire team at Jay Marks Real Estate for everything they did a above and beyond what we expected. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a truly amazing company with even more amazing staff. I recommend them not only for the entire home buying process but also the other things that happened along the way. From Jay going into my wifes work weekly to have lunch and talk her, to the JM inviting us to a private movie along with all their other clients families. Even today at the closing, Jay took our boys, loaded them up with soda and candy while we were busy finalizing everything. They truly connect with their clients go the extra mile. Ive bought many homes and sold many homes during that time and only with Jay Marks Real Estate. Ive been a home remodeler for many years and Jay has helped me find all my homes at fantastic prices. I wish there were an option to leave more stars and even still, it wouldn t be enough I had the pleasure of working with Jay and Steve and I could not be more satisfied with how much care and attention they both gave me throughout the entire process. I was completely overwhelmed and intimidated by the fact that not only was this my first time selling a home, but there were lots of repairs that needed to be done and I was in the thick of my divorce. We bought our second home with Jay and opted to use his property management services to rent out the first house we bought with him in 2016. My wife and I have nothing but great things to say about Jay and his real estate agents and could probably write a few pages describing situations that Jay has gone above and beyond. I will sum things up here in a few sentences. Jay will fight for you to get the best, fair deal and doesnt put up with any BS from the sellers agent. He makes sure you make smart buying decisions and calls them like he sees them during the entire process, but still respects your final decision. Jay is much more interested in happy customers than closing deals. I wouldnt want anyone else on my side of the table during closing. We will not use another agent as long as Jay is still working.

Jay personally went above and beyond the call as a real estate agent and rental manager, to become a personal friend. I have to say, I have Never had a better realtor!!!! In 2018 we discovered that my husbands cancer treatments were no longer working. We decided that we needed to start getting things in order. One of those things we needed to do was sell our home. My husband did some research on realtors in the Flower Mound area and came to the conclusion that we had to call Jay Marks. I will NEVER forget meeting Jay for the first time. He came to our home, I opened the front door and he said, Hi Im Jay Marks and Im going to sell your house! We both immediately felt a connection with Jay. We told him what was happening in our lives. He was genuinely concerned. After we talked for a bit on Wednesday afternoon, he looked at my husband and said, Not only am I going to sell your house, but I will sell it this week end! Guess what!!!!!!! Not only did he sell our house for way more than we were asking, but he put the house on the market late Friday night and he had 6 bids by noon Saturday. We took an offer on Saturday evening. I could end it all here, however, Jay stayed connected with us even to the point of coming to Longview to visit when my husbands time was short. And... he got us in touch with the realtor who helped us find a home in Longview the Saturday he sold ours. After my husbands death, I decided to come back to Flower Mound and Jay was kind enough to get me in touch with a realtor that sold my home in Longview in a week end. When we were looking to buy our home in the Salt Lake City Utah area he put me in contact with an excellent realtor who found us a perfect home 5 years ago. We are moving to the Price, UT area and had a referral from our agent in SLC but were not thrilled initially with her efforts. One call to Jay and 15 minutes later he had interviewed another local real estate agent there to ensure she would take care of us. Shes been a real go getter and has found us exactly what we needed.
