With as big of a day as a wedding is, you want everything to be perfect and go smoothly! From the moment you get engaged your mind starts racing of how to plan a wedding: which venue, what food, what DJ, and the list goes on and on! As stressful as that may sound, Walter s Wedding Estates makes that stressful list into a much smoother process. All the nuances of planning, the wedding organizer helps by asking questions to help spur on the creativity! The sky is truly the limit and that is one of the many reasons we chose Chapel at Riverwalk and loved our wedding organizer Faith! Faith was incredibly detailed and responded promptly to any questions or updates we wanted to make. This early on showed us how professional, caring, and encouraging Faith was all while doing a job she loves! Chapel at Riverwalk was perfect for us because we were having a smaller intimate wedding, but still wanted the ease of having things come in packages. The venue was stunning and the showcases we got to go to were super fun date nights/plan nights for our big day! Overall, if we had to do everything over again we would pick Walters Wedding Estates in a heart beat! Highly recommend them and all the vendors you get to work with, and if you get Faith as a wedding organizer know that you are in great hands! Lastly know that all the vendors are fantastic with communication and want your special day to go as perfectly as you do. With everything being scheduled together through Walters Wedding Estates you have the peace of mind that everything is covered!

This was the third venue we checked out. It took us about 30 min to decide we wanted to get married here! Calla was amazing in creating a schedule on visiting 4 venues in the same day! She sat down with us and gave us the basic run down of everything without trying to upsell or pressure us. She s very good with communicating and it was super easy to put the deposit down and then immediately got all the planning stuff within a few hours.

Nick Gauthier is heaven sent. Very sweet and personable! He was very thorough in answering any of the questions that my fiancé and I had at the time of our visit. We felt that he was genuinely concerned about making our day special rather than coming across as a sales person. Update: My fiancé and I recently had our meeting with our wedding planner, Faith! She was sweet, organized, accommodating and very thorough! Having amazing staff has made wedding planning a lot easier. The Chapel at Riverwalk staff are truly a blessing.

She was very informative and took time out of her whole day to show us 4 venues and provide in depth tours. We are still deciding on venues, but with her help we would be delighted with any Walters Wedding location.

A Dream Come True at Chapel at Riverwalk Our wedding at Chapel at Riverwalk Walter Wedding Estates was nothing short of perfect! The venue itself is stunning, with a picturesque setting that provided the perfect backdrop for our special day. The staff was incredibly professional and attentive, ensuring that every detail was taken care of. Our DJ kept the dance floor packed all day, and our planner was organized and efficient. Even our photographer captured every moment beautifully. From start to finish, the entire process was stress-free and enjoyable. We couldnt be happier with how everything turned out. My fiance and I will be getting married at the Chapel at Riverwalk in October and we couldnt be more excited! From the first time we toured, we knew it was the place for us to get married. The chapel is so beautiful and was a huge selling point. I loved the natural light and wooden beams that are timelessly beautiful. We have been happy with all the services provided thus far by Walters and the planning meetings have been very helpful in getting us organized. We also enjoyed attending all the showcases at different Walters venues to try all the food and sample the different offerings.

My daughter just had her wedding this weekend and would have loved to have given 5 stars, but 4 dress jackets, a Fitbit watch, and envelopes probably with money were stolen? My nephew, who works for a law firm had to send a letter to have the venue produce video footage because when he informed that one of the missing jackets that was stolen was his, he was told by one of the staff members that they took all of the jackets and burned them and that the cameras did not work? My wife had also noticed that one of the staff members that were picking up the plates after we ate dinner had an envelope in between the plates and luckily she was able to retrieve the envelope, so we then decided to start putting all envelopes in a locked box. Such a shame that it led to this because this is a really nice area that I am VERY familiar with and I had all confidence in the world that this would NOT and should NOT have happened, especially in this location. And thankfully no one brought gifts as those probably would have been stolen as well. Already informed everyone who had items stolen from them to file a police report and I also mentioned to the staff that this would occur and to be prepared to answer to criminal charges. I attended a wedding here in July of last year, and it was absolutely beautiful! So much so that I asked my friends if my fiancé and I could get married at the same place. They could not recommend it enough! I love that it is all inclusive some people may not be a fan of having to use all of the venue s vendors, but for us it made choosing our package really easy. I chose to do choose my own flowers, cake, and photographer, but everything else was through the venue. The team at the Chapel at Riverwalk is amazing Priscilla gave us a tour, Kayla did our initial planning meeting, and Faith helped us work out all the little details so that everything was just the way we wanted, and answered every single one of my questions without hesitation. These girls rock! Great planning experience and I know the wedding will be wonderful! (Photos included are from our tour)

Still dreaming about our wonderful day! Faith, my planner, was wonderful, she truly made my day come together! She came in during my final meeting through the process and helped fix any inconsistencies with my vision and the plan. A little hiccup occurred on the day of the wedding out of anyone s control - but Faith made things right and went above and beyond to fix things and then some! My guests were raving about the venue, food, DJ, flowers all weekend long. I used everything in house and it made it all stress-free planning for me. Highly recommend this venue and Faith!!!

From the Father of the Bride: What a WONDERFUL experience - beginning to end! From our daughter s first meeting with Anna, to the initial planning with Amber, to the final planning stages with Newsha, to the rehearsal & wedding day with Abbey, to the venue management with Taylor, everything was super! Our daughter used all of the Walters vendors & had the best of everything: My daughter s flowers were perfect (and stunning), the wedding cake & groom s cake by Jenny Layne were exceptional (and Jenny is a very patient sweetheart of a lady that will let the father of the bride ramble on and on - haha), the BBQ buffet was great, the exceptional bartender took care of everyone all night, the DJ, Dani, absolutely knocked it out of the park and even had the grandmas killing it on the dance floor. Walters knew that we had bilingual needs for this event & made sure to have bilingual folks (English/Spanish) throughout the event - including the incredible DJ, Dani. All of our guests and family are texting us & posting on social media like crazy to let us know what a fantastic wedding this was!! And a special mention to Newsha & to Abbey: Newsha - you took great care, when meeting us at the tasting event, to make sure we felt special, had our questions answered, & got things squared away. Thank you also for answering me on a different day while you were actually out on PTO - you are the best person. Abbey, thank you so much for everything - especially my fatherly impatience that you settled with excellence. I hope the hug you got from Mom gave you a small piece of the huge appreciation that you deserve. All the little extras that you did for us didn t go unnoticed, You are amazing! The pictures, by Emily Chappell Photography are incredible. Every awesome moment & every feeling was captured beautifully, There s no way possible to tell you in a simple review how much it means to me as a father to see the look on our daughter s face & hear the words: I wouldn t have changed a thing . While I expected to have a few hiccups here or there (as with most events) this was 100% perfect all the way through. We had the best wedding day at the Chapel at the Riverwalk! Its a great location with close hotels and restaurants to entertain out of town guests. Sydnee C was a wonderful planning rep and I couldnt recommend her more! We utilized all vendors through the venue and our day went off perfectly with little need from myself on the actual day which is every brides goal! Thank you Riverwalk team! :)

11.12.2023 is our date. ***Horrible Music! Please read the DJ review. Would never hire him ever. He came included with the venue package*** The music is important in a wedding. for setting the tone and mood for the whole thing. Throwing down $15k plus, the music should be pretty easy to get set. Id separately give the DJ a solid 3. Heres why! **1. My entrance music, the most important music to me of all, the brides entrance, was completely wrong. I do mean 100% wrong. Wasnt in the same genre or playlist of my song. It was an upbeat lively tune that broke the mood entirely. I mean ENTIRELY broke the mood and tone. THEN HE SWITCHED BACK TO THE SEATING MUSIC after the coordinator told him it was wrong. THEN HE WENT RIGHT BACK TO THAT AWFUL JAZZY MUSIC, that Id never even heard of. Then back to the seating music! and then finally to my entrance song. The mood was already broken. My entrance. Broken. so disappointed. You cant put a price on the grooms first look at the bride. You cant. And to me, that was destroyed. It gets better, ---------------------------------------------- 2. The FIRST DANCE SONG. Another very important song/music. K-Ci & JoJo - All my life. How do you mess up K-Ci & JoJo. The song was uploaded and listed under couples first dance He had the wrong song. Again, some weird upbeat tune that no one has ever heard of....Ever...IT WASNT EVEN IN MY PLAY LIST Again, mood was broken and we stood there awkwardly and embarrassed waiting for him to select the song I uploaded into the playlist. Everything ELSE about the experience was grade A+. They made it easy and simple. I give it an overall 5 because it truly was an awesome venue. Amazing food, Amazing bartender, Amazing attention to detail. It was great. Using the venue again absolutely. And recommend. Make sure you dont get Amy and Denniss DJ tho when booking.

My SIL got married at the Riverwalk on 11.18.23. I was so impressed!! Raven was amazing and eased every ounce of anxiety our bride had. She & the staff were very attentive, checking on bride at every turn. The bridal suite was the most beautiful I d ever seen - it made for an awesome getting ready experience. We rented furniture for the cocktail area, and it was brilliant. It made the area so inviting; people hung out there all night. Highly recommend this venue for a central DFW wedding venue.

Looking for a beautiful venue that offers an all inclusive experience? Look no further! Chapel at Riverwalk with Walter Weddings is hands down the most intimate, luxurious, and affordable venue in my opinion. The scenery is breath taking. The chapel is newly updated and so beautiful. The reception space is also super spacious and just the right size for my 100 guest wedding. My planning rep Sydnee C made the process so easy that I m shocked she didn t get tired of me. I asked countless questions and she always answered them in a timely manner. Do your self a favor and ask for her cause you will not be disappointed. All in all, I stress you to just book. You won t be sorry!

We are so excited to host our wedding here at the Riverwalk Chapel in Flower Mound. Its a gorgeous venue and has recently been remodeled. Working with the staff here has also been a great experience. We recently have been working with Sydnee C as our Planning Representative and she has helped us stay on top of all the details leading up to the big day. Shes been professional, helpful, resourceful, and truly cares about helping us make this day special. Were having a smaller sized wedding and this is definitely one of the cutest spots to do it in DFW and for an affordable price.

May 27, 2023 We had a fabulous experience hosting a reception there. The surrounding area is beautiful. The interior is beautiful. The bride and friends took advantage of the bridal room. They showed their Hawaii wedding video on the big TV in the Grooms room. We were able to open doors to the outside patio. We paid for the bartender to stick around for a 4th hour. DJ kept the place hopping from 1st speach/toast, to 11:30pm when the couple left. Everyone from Walters Event staff was courteous and helpful. Highly recommend!

A quaint and beautiful chapel with access to a small event center right next to it. We attended a wedding here and it was the perfect size for the amount of guests (100 or so). The ambiance is peaceful and there is plenty of parking available, both outside and in the parking garage. The only downside was the acoustics. If you re planning a ceremony there, think about using mics!

First, this venue was recently bought out by Refined Hospitality. Second, I worked with two people Evan and unfortunately I forgot the ladies name but they were wonderful, responsive via phone, text and email. The best thing is exactly 5 days prior to my wedding we realized we needed a different venue. We contacted them either Thursday late evening or really early Friday morning, viewed the venue a few hours late, signed the contract that evening. FOUR days before the event which was TWO days before Christmas! The venue is beautiful, it is well kept and reasonably priced. The entire Riverwalk area is great for photos. Please do not let the negative reviews sway you it was the previous owners of the chapel and restaurant. This place is a gem and the staff is top notch.

Beautiful venue for our vow renewal and 25th anniversary celebration! Courtnay was easy to work with and made everything go so smoothly. We loved the personal tasting of our menu before the event. The food was delicious! The waitstaff were efficient and personable during our event. The room for getting ready is comfortable and well lit, although being a little older I did have some trouble sitting in the bar stool chair! All in all a lovely day for us and our guests. Thanks!
