I am shopping around right now to hire a photographer for an event my company is hosting and I was hopeful with this company because of the reviews but my interaction with the gentleman who answered the phone was horrible. He cut me off at the beginning of the conversation and said he wasnt interested. He may have been confused at what I was asking but he was so rude at the way he handled it all. I kindly ended our conversation after he realized he messed up. My company will keep looking and will hope for a better first impression elsewhere.

What a great experience from beginning to end: from reaching out for a quote, scheduling, communications, execution, and final product. I worked with Godoy Shots on behalf of my executive for new headshots, as we were not pleased with what our companys internal photographer provided. My executive told me working with them onsite was such a pleasure and he was really happy with the results, that he already updated his internal headshot to what Godoy Shots provided. I had an awesome experience with Godoy Shots Photography for an executive headshot. Nabor Godoy was fantastic to work with throughout the whole process. Setting up an appointment online was a breeze. Their website is very clear with regards to what was to be expected per package. I dont consider myself to be photogenic but Nabor helped me find the best angles and the best expression. Nabor did an excellent job with my professional pictures. He was very communicative since the beginning, explained clearly all of the packages he had available. I sent some examples of pictures I wanted as an example, and he came prepared with a collage of pictures we would do. He was very professional and has a great eye for photo composition. I did the Studio premium package for 6 edited photos. We took over 200 pictures. I took the pictures a Saturday morning and had the edited pictures that same day, which was very impressive. Nabor was absolutely wonderful to work with and I would recommend him to everyone! The studio was perfectly setup and allowed for different color backdrops to be selected depending on clothing color and preferences. Nabor coached me and got the best pictures! You can really see the difference in the first photo that I took and then just a few shots later after Nabors advice, the confidence and professionalism of the later photos was so much better thanks to his coaching! We were able to look at the photos after each outfit to see which one we liked the best and to best understand which angle and poses worked best for me. For final product, Nabor emailed the gallery to me the very next day. This included retouched photos on my favorite photos, as well as the full gallery that we took during my session. The retouching is just the right amount to smooth out flyaway hairs and wrinkles. It is the perfect amount to just enhance the photo, not alter it. Seriously, go to Godoy Shots and you will not be disappointed!

We talked about the look I was seeking in my photos, and we discussed my clothing and background options to find the best fit. Truly exceptional experience end to end. But the main thing was that my headshots came out way better than I ever imagined. Nabor has a dedicated studio (unlike some others who have a make shift studio in their homes). The studio overall is very clean and organized and Nabor has all the basic essentials you need. Nabor is excellent in his communication before, during, and after the shoot. He scheduled a 30 min pre-session consultation with me about a month before my shoot and gave me some excellent tips in terms of what to wear and how to physically be in good shape for the shoot. When I arrived at the studio the day of Nabor had everything teed up already. He spent a few mins going through my wardrobe and made recommendations on the order of my outfit changes. The entire session was a very relaxed experience as well and that is mainly because Nabor is very organized and he is great at keeping the mood light. He has the camera tethered to his computer so you can essentially see the shot right after its taken. Towards the end of the session he very methodically goes through the pictures with you and helps you narrow down the best shot. I had my shoot on Saturday and had my pictures by Monday morning - including all the post processing / retouching. Overall, I was extremely pleased with my headshots and so was my wife (which says a lot). I am already recommending Nabor to all my friends and colleagues.

Ive been working with Nabor Godoy twice. First, he came to shoot the apparels and models for our startup. Second, I visited his studio to get professional photos for my Linkedin profile and the rest of websites. In both cases I really enjoyed the process and was very happy with the results of the work. Godoy is a clever highly intuitive photographer, which will successfully capture your personality. In my case, my pictures were taken in a challenging space, inside an office with low ceiling, lots of furniture and picture frames with glasses on the walls; however, despite this, I consider that he made an amazing selection for the scene, guiding me to have the best pose while taking advantage of any bit of light while minimizing reflection and unfavorable setting features. He is truly an artist who has a combination of technical skills plus gut instinct that enables him to honestly express the moments that he captures through his camera lenses in genuine and spectacular images. I retained Nabor to take some photos for a special occasion and he did a superb job. He was extremely accommodating and had great ideas and direction throughout the entire shoot. What s really amazing is that he got our photos to us the next day. I was really impressed by his professionalism and his knowledge of the venue. Nabor is truly great to work with.
