I have been under the wonderful care of doctor German Hernandez for the past 16 years. After my first visit with him I knew I was no longer going to be just another number just another patient. At each appointment he is thorough in his review of labwork and closely monitors even the slightest of changes. He explains what s going on with my care and what s needed to remedy whatever the case may be. He makes himself available to other physicians to ensure they are not prescribing me something that will harm my kidney. He has the best bedside manner and I fully trust him with my care; so much that I recently recommended him to my dad and mother-in-law.

Dr. Hernandez is one of the best nephrologist in El Paso. The level of care he provided at the beginning of my illness saved my life. He is extremely knowledgeable in his field. Dr. Hernandez is compassionate and very approachable. His accessibility has positively impacted my overall health. During office visits, he is available to answer any questions one has regarding care. I highly recommend Dr. Hernandez as a nephrologist.

Dr. Hernandez has been my Nephrologist for over 10 years. When I needed to be on dialysis, he helped me find the best center and treatment type to fit my needs, allowing me to continue to work, go to school, and be independent. During these years, Dr. Hernandez has also helped me receive 2 Kidney Transplants. He is an exceptional doctor who kind, compassionate, and who cares deeply for his patients and their families. Ive had experience with many good nephrologists in town, but Dr. Hernandez goes above and beyond and I am extremely grateful to him. I would highly recommend him to anyone seeking a Nephrologist.

Dr.Hernandez has been my nephrologist for several years now . My disease is rare and he has consistently helped me maintain a high quality of life by providing the best care for me, as well as members of my family . He always answers any questions that I have and makes sure to be available to consult when I have to address non-kidney health issues . He is thorough and patient , and I would highly recommend him to anyone seeking a nephrologist.

I am so grateful to Dr. Hernandez for the excellent care that I have received since 2007. My family has a history of kidney disease that has been misdiagnosed for more than 50 years. Doctor Hernandez researched and had a family member do a kidney biopsy. He found the name of the rare disease and contacted the Doctor who was looking for the cure. His care and dedication to his patients goes over and beyond what is required!

My parents just experienced the most horrible doctor-patient/responsibility and etiquette possible! It s sad how doctor s don t care about their patients true well being anymore, but just about making sure they get paid by the insurances . Although my father had an appointment the doctor refused to see him because he didn t receive some lab results, so he d be wasting his time. My father is currently very ill and lethargic, so we begged them to check him anyway, especially since his primary doctor gives him medication that aren t good for his kidneys, and they said it wasn t their problem!
