Its a place that I have been going to for many years off and on. I have gone with family and friends and all have enjoyed the food and service. We had an incident once that was handled in a professional manner and with that being said it has kept me to be a loyal customer. The service has been excellent every time I have gone. If you happen to get bad service it may be because its an off day for someone. Go for the nachos they are worth ordering as well as the hamburger. I will say that you must at least visit once if you have not gone.

Stopped in here looking for a quick breakfast. The food here was great. Highly recommend the Chiliqueles with Carnitas. The only part was the service was a little slow but they were relatively busy in a Sunday morning. Would come back if I am on the area in the future.

Lucys sampler plate with their chocolate mole was tasty for sure. However, the service is almost non existent as far as getting your drinks filled or extras with the meal. The ambiance is puzzling to say the least. No pictures, paintings or Hispanic cultural items anywhere to gaze at. A Bland experience to the wondering eye and paying customer. Thankfully the food is above average or there would be no reason to come.

The food is usually good the service is never great nor good. The tables are wobbly and small, for some reason they dont clean or wipe the table when other customers leave you can see crumbs on the table. They take a while to take your order and ask if you need a refill. No matter what time I come service usually sucks but the food is really good. Ive been coming here for years and seen different employees but the service has not been good from any of them.

Had high expectations based on reviews. Thought the atmosphere was nice. Food came quickly and the Server/Hostess was really kind. Thats the only reason this has any stars at all. With all the amazing selections of food in El Paso, this one fell unbelievably short. The bean and cheese burrito had a shard of metal in in, the chorizo and egg had a hair. The tacos were burnt to a crisp, the tortillas tasted fake, and the mole tasted like lard and chicken. Their salsa was the only thing we enjoyed with its spiciness and flavor. I can only recommend that. If we ever go back, and thats a hard if, Ill stick to the tea and chips and salsa. Great for for anyone drinking though. Will help with the grease and heavy food. Parking: Lots of parking in rear.

Pretty good food and staff but, it s really aggravating that they don t post their actual operating hours nor even honor the ones they state verbally. Says they re open until 11 but not on Sundays, they close at 10 (even though Google says otherwise). Even then, I walked it at 9:40 and their kitchen was already closed . Yes I ve worked at a restaurant too, several, and for many years actually and we always honored our hours, even when the customer came in with a minute left until closing, but not here at Lucy s. Completely unprofessional to close early. Do you not know that you just made your patrons drive all the way to your location for nothing when you close early? So basically take their hours with a grain of salt, they may or may not actually honor them

Excellent place for home made kind of mexican food. The portions are great, and I love the flavor. My recommendation: Barbacoa Burrito. Its the best one I have tried here in El Paso. Everytime someone comes to visit I take them there as part of El Paso experience, and everybody have love it. The space is small, around eight tables, but if they are full you can always go to the bar next door Kings X, literally the other room, and they will attend you there. And the service is always good. Parking: At least 50 spots Wheelchair accessibility: The building has the main entrance as wheelchair accessible

I dont recommend the breakfast. I tried the Huevos Pasenos, my friend had the Huevos Nortenos. I received a bowl of what appeared to be canned grade F franks and beans, yes hot dogs and beans, with soggy chicharones thrown in. The menu states it comes with hash browns, but it didnt, so I asked for them. They were frozen shredded potatoes served as a greasy fried slab. The Nortenos had no seasoning on the hamburger, just sauteed burger, peppers and onions. The corn tortillas were decent, but the flour tortillas were thick and flaky American brand store bought style. I like mine homemade thin and stretchy. The service was good, and fast.

I love the main cook, she definitely knows what she s doing and the food is always so good . I ve gotten most items including breakfast (pancakes were amazing), some of my favorites are the tacos, picadillo burritos, and the Mexican breakfast. Whenever I m not able to make it to that particular location I go to the one located next to kings, and also really great food. I can t say enough about the quality of the food provided at such a great price.

This place says its open at 7 am. I showed up at that time where there was a human sign saying they open at 830. This is definitely false advertising. I mean even if the maps of Google say its open a 7 dont you think there supposed to follow their advertisements on other sites. Very unprofessional. And I didnt even want to try there mendo. But hey. Nice human sign. I wish that would have taken place in my marriage. Not my responsibility to do your job on time. How about you fix your boo boo Lucys restaurant. Cuz you got Google lying for you on a Saturday morning where Google says your open at 7 am. Thank you for an unwelcoming breakfast on May 14th 2022. No wonder you havent grown since opened. Now its 8:02. While trying to enjoy my breakfast at jack n the box, I saw two more customers leave for the false advertisement. They literally looked at the door as if it was magic keeping it closed. They must have been customers. Now Im contacting Google. I wonder where the the buck is gonna stop.

Ate at this location in 2021 and food was good. One year later we decided to order take out after a long day of driving. Food didnt have much flavor and to top it off you have to order chips and salsa separately, which they dont tell you. So no chips and salsa for us. Last year they gave us multiple bags with our orders that they insisted be fresh made. Not sure what happened to this place.

Real Mexican food! Not Tex-Mex! One of the best Mexican food I had in the U.S.

First time here at Lucys Cafe at kings X. I got the chicken tampiquena. Was really flavorful. Didnt like the rice or beans too much. But I would go back to try another dish.

Machaca plate is an El Paso classic. The food is great, the staff is friendly and this place feels like home. If you are looking for a full menu at Lucys make sure you go to this location. Best part of being home!
