Wow! Wow! Wow! Best lawyer ever! Mr. Pease helped me when I was in a bind at the last minute. I was under a custody modification and my other lawyer passed away suddenly and I called to meet with Mr. Pease and he assured me he could get it closed and done. He is very professional and knows his stuff. He personally called me to tell me it was over even before the hearing happened. He is very knowledgeable and professional. If you are going through divorce I strongly recommend going with Pease and associates! If youre going through a high conflict divorce, you NEED this firm for the absolute best legal representation! I am going through a very high conflict divorce. It has been an extremely stressful and challenging process. The best investment I made was hiring Abbie Laine/Pease and associates law firm! The situation between my ex and I is very ugly (to put lightly). All the staff has been extremely knowledgeable and helpful in guiding me through this process. This firm put my child in a situation where he d have had to live with his mom and a multi-time violent felon, who is actively on parole for several family violence offenses. The truth prevailed and my son is now safe and with me. As lawyers, you have a responsibility to do the right thing. You don t need to accept everyone s buck. For context, I ve always exercised my visitation, I talk to my son daily and have an amazing relationship with him. Ive supported him financially, with his hobbies, and have never slacked in funding his medical, dental, etc..I had to listen to this firm justify that a documented abuser was better suited to live in a home with my son than I was, which was terrifying because you never know how your case will land. Do better. Theyre not doing better. Abbie Laine is fighting for an appeal that would take my son away from me, against his own wishes and back to his mother. Hire this firm if you want thugs representing you.

Update: this law firm pulled out of my case 2 hours before a final hearing. No notice, no communication. Just sent a document for me to sign saying I agree to him withdrawing. Constantly resetting, I put my faith in him and for a reason I still do not know, he abandoned me and kept the money we paid .

I have a custody battle with my ex, she is trying to take away my rights to my kids and also raise child support on me. I talked to Mr. Pease and told him the situation and he was very confident in getting a good outcome, I also saw the good reviews here so I decided to hire him. Ms. Laine began working on my case, and so far we have had a temporary hearing which we won 50/50 custody of my kids and also won the appeal my ex tried file, so we got to keep the 50/50 custody!! Well what can I say? After reading reviews that clients left on his page, it had a great influence on me hiring Mr Pease. I almost hired another lady before I found Mr Pease, but decided her reviews were no where near how amazing Mr Pease s reviews were (Paula Thomas.. cough cough) and I wanted someone who was going to go full throttle against my narcissistic ex. Had a consultation with Mr. Pease on a Friday and it was found that he wouldnt be able to help with modifying a case and it would be best to transfer the case to the state the parties are at due to both parties not living in El Paso, which i understood, and I inquired about having a change of venue to have the case transfered to the state that is appropriate. He said that he will look into it and to call after the weekend.... Fast forward to the following Monday. I have called, the receptionist states that he will call me in the afternoon... he did not. I have called every other day that week and was told the same thing by the receptionist. The following week I have called again and was upset. The receptionist said that they have lost my intake form and needed to do another consult. The receptionist then proceeded to ask questions about the case, I have declined to answer because I requested to talk to Mr. Pease to tell him the whole story again. The receptionist scheduled me for another consultation.... 2 weeks have passed, I get a call from the office, and the receptionist tells me that Mr. Pease will not take my case.... Im not sure what they were going off of because they said they lost my intake papers. WASTE OF $300. HORRIBLE SERVICE, AND LACK OF COMMUNICATION.

I d opened a custody case in NM, and the other party decided to open a case in TX. Within two months Mr. Pease was able to get the TX case dismissed and had everything pushed back to NM, the only state with jurisdiction in my case. Where do I begin. First of all, I ve been going through custody issues for 3 yrs now, I ve had 2 previous family attorneys ( who were AMAZING), so I know what a good attorney does for their clients. I hired Mr. Pease from recommendations I saw on a mom page. The initial consult was promising and he seemed to care about my case, it was a very simple transfer from one county to another, but none the less still seemed like he would get it done and be there to answer any questions. That proved to be further from the truth. After a month had gone by, and I hadn t heard anything I called to see what was happening. I ended up calling at least 10 times with no answers, just a receptionist. I was told to use the MyCase app to communicate with them and guess what, no answer there either. Shocker. Finally was told they put in a motion for a court date, cool. Another month and I heard nothing/got no call backs to the messages I left. It was bad. The morning of our court date I found out about it, I waited for my zoom meeting to happen. It apparently did and I received no call about it. I called to see what happened and was received by a very rude and condescending man. Maybe because I was frustrated and very short as well, but I had every right to be because of the non communication. This was last Wednesday. I FINALLY spoke to my attorney 2 days ago and he assured me, he d call me back when he knew my court doc had been signed by the judge. Of course he didn t call me. I had to do his leg work, call the county clerk, and request & pay for my own copies even though that was all his job. 10/10 would not recommend.

I had been with a previous attorney for a few years and was scheduled a final hearing last minute and was never notified. I called the office and was unable to get ahold of anyone so I began to panic. I was then referred to Mr. Pease, so I called his office and he was booked for consultations for another week. I explained my situation to Claudia, his receptionist, and she squeezed me in for the following day. She was courteous, polite, and listened to my problem. Mr. Pease took on my case with only a few days notice of my final hearing. (Scheduled with previous attorney). He educated me on what to expect, assured me he would do his best to get things resolved and finally get the divorced finalized. Mr. Pease delivered on his word and I am now in the final steps to getting divorced. I would strongly recommend Mr. Pease to anyone.

This lawyer said we had a sure done deal case when I came to him and he literally didn t do anything he said he would and lost my case bad. The secretary is ditzy and never knows anything. Pease is never available and barley remembers to call back. They closed my account on mycase before my actual case was over. I have been very upset with the way my case was handled and will bad mouth this law office to everyone I know, I would/will never recommend anyone hire this law office. very disappointed in Ismael, knowing the circumstances of my case, or my position, he charged me for something that he never thought of doing nor could he do, he simply stole $5000 dollars from me, for making calls that he NEVER made, instead of helping me he simply let time happened, and covered himself under his contract in which he said he would help me get or try to get a deal but he NEVER did anything, charged me for something he knew I couldnt do and never had any intention of helping. I had hired them for a child support case. The mother tragically passed away. The only thing they did was modify divorce decree. I was charged and not helped with anything else. They lacked communication and always left me messages to call and make an appointment. When i did my questions were rarely answered. After the death of the childrens mother they did not help or assist in anyway. Everything they did i could have done myself. It was rather disappointing, both lawyers Ismael Pease and Jordan H offered little to no help. I will recommend going with any other law firm, Rosales Law Firm was far more helpful.

You never expect to need an attorney when you fall for someone. Me. Pease was recommended to me by several reliable sources at a time I needed help the most abs he did not disappoint. After 2 years I can gladly say I m finally able to enroll my child in school and thankfully was able to win standard visitation with my daughter in a more stable environment for her.
