I love taking my dog to the dog park. Only down said is pet owners still do not pick up after their furry friends. It has gotten better, but we need more improvement as owners.

I was very pleased with my visit to this dog park. It was hot and sunny and a kind man offered to share his shaded bench with my friend and I while we threw the ball for her dog. After we got a little tired, he grabbed the ball and started throwing it for her dog! Her dog was so happy! The gates going in and out were very secure so no strange dogs could get in and your dog could not get out, and All the dog parents in the park seemed very friendly and kind with their dogs.

I love this park. The community treats you like family. You can find dog bowls for water. Most time they already have water-- great community of dog lovers. Big dogs with little dogs is pretty common. The park has grass.... and yes unfortunately were in the desert and those little panless stickers will catch onto winter sweaters. Theres a skate park next to the dog park. Cute little mile hill hike with a picnic table. Phenomenal sunset views. I imagine sunrise being just as beautiful. ...November/February pictures Playground: Fun for kids Dog-friendliness: Really friendly Picnic area: Cute one on top of the tiny hiking trail. Great for sunset/rise watching

Great place for your pets to have fun, most of the owners are very responsible, although there are many who do not pick up poop or bring small pets into the large pet area, I hope other users take care of the place because we dont have enough places like this.

My dog enjoyed playing at this dog park. He was completely wiped out after we left! The other dogs were playful and their owners were very nice. However, I feel that the facility could use some TLC. The big dog area is 90% dirt. There were potholes/sandpits and one was filled up with water, where some of the dogs played in. Lastly, the water fountain isnt even located inside the area where the dogs play. Its located outside of it.

Very expensive and many wild open spaces looking like the untouched desert. Wild life especially birds like quails and nightingales. The surrounding hills having beginners tracks and increasingly difficult trails. Lovely to walk early in the morning. I would love to see more shady areas

I went today to see if I can see the owner of three huskies that bit a friend at the Westside Dog Park and he ran away and I dont help my friend I want to find him and the dogs take the dogs and some people dont take care of them The majority do, but as with everything, there are people who are not responsible.

They keep this park clean. However, there are not covered okay areas and we know how hot it gets here. A sweet of shadow sails would definitely make this park look better and be much more convenient. Also, how about some small dog challenges? Or like a mini set of hills for them? This is just a piece of land with some very bad excuse for grass and about 6 sitting areas in the perimeter. Some water for them is also available, as well as poop pick up bags and a trash container. That is it. Very sad. Can they just please fix this? Evening me is being done for the East and Far East. What about us here on the West? I expect my council person to address this as soon as possible, please.

Park is great but people are not, it s obviously an at your own risk area like every park but people some people can be rude specially at peak hours so 5pm to 7pm If you re going i recommend coming in the morning to avoid that. Also people don t follow dog size rules and bring big dogs to the small dog area. My dog was pinned down and bitten by a bigger dog and yelped and the owner did nothing but claim that her dog likes to play rough so, if you can avoid those times to have a peaceful day.

Cool dog park, summer makes the grass green and dogs love it. I recommend going about an hour before sun goes down because by 8pm it gets crowded and people just don t know how to be dog owners.

Dec. 21 update: had to downgrade 4 to 3 stars. Little burrs aren t sharp, but boy are there a lot! Got them all in the pups fur. Not fun brushing out later :( Plenty of space for the pups to run. Only thing that would get 5 stars would be filling in the few holes to reduce injury risk.
