While my husband and I were stationed in El Paso, we were somewhat regular attendees here. Not only is the selection, atmosphere, prices, and clientele here wonderful, the owners are even more amazing. Fernando and Mia are wonderful people. We moved 6 years ago and still miss vitolas! While I was inside settling the tab, my wife was sitting out front finishing her drink. A man came up to her and started trying to hit on her, telling her she looked good tonight, asking if she s having a good time, that kind of thing. She very clearly responded that she wasn t interested in talking to him. When he identified himself as working there (he s apparently the owner), my wife told him that she had no problem speaking to a representative of the lounge, she just didn t want a man she didn t know hitting on her. The owner went inside before my wife was even done speaking, slamming the door. About 3 minutes later, the owner came back out and told my wife she had to leave the lounge. He claimed her attitude was bringing down the vibe, even though she was sitting alone outside finishing her drink, and had done nothing more than tell a man she didn t know that she wasn t interested in being hit on. The owner and his wife, who came outside as well, threatened to call the police on my wife if she refused to leave. There is no excuse for their behavior. Harassing a patron (who spent quite a bit of money at their lounge that night) not only by hitting on her (there is no other purpose to a married man telling a woman sitting by herself that she looks good tonight ), but by kicking her and her party out of the lounge, and even threatening police involvement simply because she did not want some man she didn t know talking to her is despicable. We will never return to Vitola s and I would caution anyone, especially women, to avoid going there, as it is not a safe environment for them.

The staff seem to be very knowledgeable of the cigars and liquors. Very friendly with an inviting atmosphere. Great place to spend some time to relax. The prices of the drinks seemed a pricey but if you can t afford to splurge now and then, a cigar hobby is probably not for you, imo. Had a little bit of trouble trying to find the place, but I am from out of town. Came here for my birthday which was a great way to spend it! There are free parking spaces available there. Will definitely come here again!

Vitoloas is the premier Cigar shop in El Paso. Hands down. From their incredibly deep selection of cigars to their perfectly designed lounge areas, you are guaranteed to have a great time. Dani was such a great host! Shes very educated on what Cigars would blend well with old fashions. The way she described them was down to the T. Update! On Friday and Saturdays, there is a lounge fee during game days at the Chihuahua stadium! Of course, if you buy a cigar, the fee is waved. I have never really been a fan of cigars... Maybe because when I have smelt cigars, they were EXTREMELY strong but since I saw Vitolas and was curious, I found out more about cigars and the variety! I decided to get some cigars for my friends and I to celebrate our first fathering since the start of the pandemic. The group has also added two babies, including my own Baby Edward! I thought, what a batter way to celebrate than to get some cigars. Needless to say, I know nothing about cigars. VITOLAS sits across from Cleveland Park and Southwest University Park in downtown El Paso. I walked in and was instantly greeted by staff - more than staff... turns out it was Mia (one of the owners). She asked if I needed help. I told her my situation and she proceeded to walk me through their selection of cigars and explain the various flavors strengths, and time dedication for each. She was not pushy or dusmussive at all. It shows that she wanted to genuinely help amd share the cigar knowledge she possess! Great place to chill and enjoy a cigar or even a drink- theres a full bar upstairs.

I have been a faithful patron of VITOLAS nearly three years now. The owners are wonderful and inviting. The expanded staff they have brought in are on the ball with cigar advise and bar service. They have a wide selection of cigars for every taste in their large humidor. Upstairs the leather chairs and old fashion music is amazing. A very stocked bar selection and cocktails to pair with your evening cigar. You can sit by yourself and relax or engage others in stimulating conversation. Right downtown next to Southwest Ballpark you can make it part of your night for the El Paso Nightlife. A must visit for any cigar aficionado.

This is the best cigar lounge and humidor I have been to. I am visiting from DFW and was very impressed by what Fernando has put together. The humidor had tons of boutique cigars. Even some I had not seen in Dallas. They also had a great whiskey selection. The lounge was what you want all cigar longes to be that you seem never able to find. I went to buy a cigar to enjoy on the patio. Picked out one then purchase and lit up. 10 min in the Young man at the register came out to let me know for some reason i was charged a few dollars more. Impressed with the honesty i said no worries. He said he spoke with the owner and said if i liked the cigar i could take another one for the error. Awesome place to enjoy a good cigar...

This place is serious and awesome! The staff are absolute experts. I admit, im not a cigar person. Dont know much at all. They can break down every single element of a cigar/cigar smoking experience for you. Whiskey bar up stairs. The starr is extremely knowledgeable. If you love cigars, you will love this place. If you dont know a thing like me and want to experience a classic cigar whiskey lounge, this place is for you. Easy 5 stars out of 5.

My boyfriend and I are new to the whole cigar world so we wanted to see what was out there. As soon as we walked in they were super friendly and welcoming, its clean and well set up. The guy at the front (sorry I forgot his name) gave us a TON of information and walked us through the different cigars and flavors. We left feeling more confident and comfortable with making cigar selections. I definitely recommend!

The staff is always friendly and helpful. Its a nice place to wind down and relax with a cigar and a drink. Been there several times and Ive never had an issue with the staff nor other patrons. Good environment to just enjoy a relaxing night out even on the weekends. The music is never too loud, you can still have a conversation without having to yell. The cigar prices are average and they have a good selection of sticks. I recommend stopping by and checking out this place.

Much like El Paso itself, Vitola s has a charm and personality that isn t easily defined. Friendly, inviting, rugged and unique. Fernando was top notch in his knowledge of fine cigars and brown liquor. Vitola s is truly a gem, not only for the great drinks, cigars and environment, but also for the customer service. I would highly recommend anyone stop by and enjoy what Vitola s has to offer, and perhaps even learn a new Spanish word;)

Excellent location and atmosphere. Vitolas has an excellent selection of cigars and a knowledgeable staff. The manager helped me pick out some cigars that were highly recommended that I hadnt tried before. As well as being knowledgeable he was also down to earth. I will definitely be back.
