Had dinner this evening, food was good, regular famous Daves. Our server, Trey however was exceptional. As most would know, going out to eat and having great service makes the experience enjoyable. Honestly this young man was efficient, personable, he paced himself wasnt all over us asking how we were doing, he had other tables and was consistent with everyone. Refilled our drinks, got us to go boxes all with such a willing attitude It was refreshing to have someone with work ethic waiting on us. At the end I had to tell him personally that he did so well I was impressed. Guess what, he wasnt expecting it, yep thats right because thats just how he is obviously. Thats what makes a place good, good people and I had to tell his boss Stephanie, great Team of people working there. I hope the people in charge realize like I did what these employees do for their business. Stephanie recognized and agreed that we all want to spend our money where we feel satisfied because times are tough. Shes a good leader willing to listen to the customer. Service counts Yes it does, it made our evening better, thanks again Trey. I know youll be successful in all that you do! Thank you God for those who are still doing your will.

Stopped by for lunch today with my wife. Our first time eating here and the last. The food was not good the burnt ends were luke warm at best and full of fat, the service was slow and the chopped pork was the worst BBQ I have had. However, the coleslaw was good. Save your hard earned money and go somewhere else.

I order Rib tips. First, they came out not fully cooked. They took them back and bought out some that they had burned so bad they looked like charcoal peices. My nephew his wife and myself ate the 6 person platter and we all got terribly sick with extreme stomach ache and diarrhea , I called to speak with the manager and she ignored my phone call ,and up to now has not responded or returned my call, I would not recommend yall est there.....

The food was better than average. If you order the family feast, its a good value. The food was good and plenty for 4-6 people. I would have given it 5 stars, but the service was subpar. The staff all had a look of misery with the exception of one host. The girl that took us to our booth was too busy being social with incoming staff that it seemed like we were a burden to be there. After she walked us to our booth, realizing that it was dirty, she proceeded to wipe the table and wanted us to sit in pure filth under the table. I had never seen so much mess and discarded food like that. I asked her if they were going to sweep under the table, and she gave me a look as if I was crazy. I told her we werent going to sit in that filth and wanted a different table. She hesitantly obliged and moved us to a different table. Our sever was ok, but we had to keep waving him down to get anything. This place has so much potential if the service and cleanliness were improved drastically.

My family and our first time here was tonight (8/30/2024) our server Kate was amazing! We absolutely LOVED her!! Her attitude was very positive and outgoing, she was very tentative to our table and did everything she could to make us feel welcomed! P.S. famous Dave s is lucky to have an employee such as her, however the atmosphere was extremely horrible!!!! I cannot stress this enough this is supposed to be a FAMILY FRIENDLY restaurant with quiet back ground music and amazing food and it was everything but that. They had giant speakers out playing so loud I could hardly hear my husband speak to me when he was sitting right next to me. My son is Autistic and the music was irritating him because of how loud it he was cupping his ear a lot, my husband is Active Duty military and has tinnitus and the music being sooo loud caused him issues with that medical condition. The atmosphere felt like more of a club vibe to it. The manager said Friday are karaoke night but this is not a karaoke bar nor is it a club setting. There was no songs posted about it being karaoke night else we would not have entered and I do not like hearing awful music because they let people who have been drinking at the bar walk around while singing (horribly) it was definitely not something pleasing to hear. Our server is quiet literally the only reason why we didn t walk out tonight especially after talking to the manager. The manager acted like she didn t care, she kept saying it is kid friendly but one of the music was kid music it was all a bunch of club sound music or something you would play at a dance. If the manager wants a club setting she should manage a club not a family restaurant. This was our first experience and we will NOT be coming back nor will we recommend famous faces to anyone. So even though our experience with management and the atmosphere being horrible we still loved our server! Kate you are Amazing!! Keep up the great work!!! Kid-friendliness: This restaurant is not kid friendly it is more of a club setting. The only thing kid friendly was our server and the food. I would never bring my kids especially my autistic son out to this restaurant again and it hurt his ear s from all the extremely loud and obnoxious music.

Worst experience here at this place. My in-laws dont speak english and for some reason everything changed after the staff noticed. I got there a few minutes later and by then everybody just wanted to leave because they were being extremely rude with them. 2 servers, not 1. The servers thought they couldnt understand English either but my in-laws understand some and heard them making fun of them and also making them wait for ever for their order. Never coming back to this restaurant at all.

Took several minutes to get seated when it was not busy. Know one was there to greet me. It was around 545. Sat at a hi-top table and got waited on quietly. The ribs were poor. It was very difficult to get the meat off of the bone. Not worth 32 bucks. Cornbread was a bit over cooked but tasted ok. Mac and cheese was good and potatoes are ok.

I have always loved Famous Daves since Colorado. I was looking forward to eating here but the moment we arrived the waitress was rude and not helpful at all. I m not sure who made Dave famous but this food was absolutely horrible and the service was even worse. This was my first visit here as I am a travel nurse. I had a party of three and all three orders were wrong, the utensils were dirty and it took almost 40 minutes to receive our food. The salmon was chewy and the food, except the mashed potatoes were cold as this is because they had to bring those later because they gave me incorrect sides. After expressing concerns the waitress said she would tell the manager who never came out to see what was wrong. I still left a tip but not as large as usual due to the horrible experience. Oh and we never received macaroni and cheese that was ordered even after letting the waitress know. Won t be visiting here again.

I frequent Famous Dave s and every time I go I always make sure to ask for Genny. She s an amazing bartender and server who is always on top of everything, makes sure you re always taken care of, and is essentially the epitome of a top tier server. As far as food, I would recommend the jalapeño cheddar sausage, the brisket is always good, the Mac and cheese hits every time as well. For drinks I would totally recommend the Jameson Peach tea. Perfect for the summer! Y all gotta go to FD Airway, if not for the food, then for Genny.

Traveling through El Paso for the first time and saw this place had great reviews but was immediately disappointed. The hostess was rude and gave me the wrong times for happy hour. We ordered the house-made margs: they were so sweet and tasted like straight mix so we politely asked if we could switch our drinks. The bartender looked at us as if we just asked her for a kidney. She was so rude and such poor service. I try to be understanding, as a server myself, but she was plain rude. Our food then came out freezing cold. Looked like leftovers and was just gross. We opted for the Founder s Feast, designed for a one person meal, my companion and I were pleasantly surprised by the huge portions, which proved to be more than sufficient for both of us. The serving sizes are notably generous, you ll leave satisfied! Among the dishes sampled, the St Louis ribs stood out as a highlight, I actually wish I had ordered only the ribs. Very nice spot in El Paso Texas. The ribs were great as well as the chicken wings and the sausage. But the winner without a doubt was the corn bread. I have eaten good corn bread but never as good as this one. I highly, highly recommend it. A good local told me to try it and i will be in debt with him for the rest of my life Gracias raza for your hospitality. That said the sides were average at best, reason for my 4 star review. So I came twice - the burnt ends werent my thing personally, a the pieces tasted mostly fat. But everything else: brisket, chopped pork, wings, ribs, corn, beans, Mac n cheese were AMAZING. I Dined it last week later at night and my server was amazing great service especially for me going in the hour of closing. But as i was sitting enjoying my night i can see a lady being rude, giving ugly looks, and being a word i don t think i can say on here. Just to find out she is the manager she was on the taller end, high pony tail, white (as i was told was the manager when i asked who she was) just oh god, she was rude and immature. She was yelling at employees telling them things in an horrible tone and plain out just an ugly type of person (not sure out of anger or just who she is) but she was pretty much embarrassing them infront of costumers she didn t think was watching she pretty much threw a fit like a child. And on the outside view i feel bad for those employees for having to work with her and that attitude that is a bad work environment she seems to be creating it made me disgusted with the place just because of her. I m sorry to the employees who got screamed at and i m sorry they have to deal with her i hope she fixes herself instead of acting like a brat. Disgusting and embarrassing. Fix this.

Jackie and Angie are awesome managers coming to check that my food was top notch and I was satisfied with my meal and their service. Lack of parking and slow service, few waiters and many customers. I spent 30 minutes waiting to use the bathroom because they were cleaning, I asked the cashier twice when are they going to finish? He said I had to wait and when I couldnt take it anymore I went in and NO ONE WAS INSIDE CLEANING, then I complained and no one apologized, no one cared and there were already 5 more women waiting for the bathroom

What are you Famous for again? Got the pork sandwich and fries. Fries were average at best, barely warm, and the amount of pork on the sandwich was a frigging joke, as well as the quality. If not for the bbq sauce at the table there would have been no moisture at all. Got there about 5:40 and they were not busy at all, maybe 20 customers. The service was ok but considering they were not busy it could have been better. No refill offered on the drink or one to go. Definitely will not have to worry about me going back, evvver.

First time trying this place out. Friendly service and clean. Food is not very good at all. Had the burn ends and beef tips. You could tell that the food was heated upon ordering since some of the meat was still cold upon delivery to the table. They were also out of half the beers on tap.
