I was visiting from Tampa. I couldnt wait to have Chicos Tacos it had been years since my last there. When I herd about Midtown I had to compare. I would highly recommend skipping weak-os taco and enjoy the best damn rolled tacos I have ever had. I learned that Ruben is a generational expert rolled taco maker. The sauce was scrumptious and flavourful. This neighborhood bar and grill knocked it out of the park! The bar tender Willy did not fall short from being excellent. Props to Sylena for being the ultimate host and making me and my family feel very happy to be there. Keep on rocking Midtown!

Went for lunch on a Saturday. Way too dark inside but comfortable. Recommend the rolled tacos in sauce. Good beef flavor in the meat and the sauce was flavorful. Stay away from the chicken and waffles . Seemed everything was frozen then fried and toasted. Makes sense that the bar food is their forte. Small place but good service. Will go back. Oh the breakfast burrito with eggs and bacon was on point. Tasted fresh.

First time to visit. Yummy, rolled tacos are the best. The Hot Dog is a meal, not your regular little dog. Willie gave us wonderful service, with him big smile and Ruben the cook is second to none. We ll definitely be back.

The air conditioner was out but the food was delicious. The beer choices are very good but you can tell the beer is old. The food really carried them through on this visit. If they can get the beer and air conditioning taken care of. I would greatly recommend this bar.

I have eaten here before and Had highly recommended it, till today. Service was Poor to say the least, after we were served, she did not do any follow up, for more water, lemonade, of a casual check in. I twice had to walk up to the end of the bar, to let her, know we needed, water, lemonade, sauce, etc. Very unfriendly service, the cook was friendly, as I know from several visits. I would not recommend this place, as I had in the past. SAD, this instance wipes out a lot of great visits Parking: Dont go till service improves

Very relaxed and mellow with a flair of macabre. Willie the bartender makes a killer red beer. Come with an appetite; damn good food! Parking: On the side of the building the parking lot is more than decent. Any overflow can find space on the street. Kid-friendliness: 21+. Love it

I was totally feeling the spooky decor of year round Halloween. All of the food ordered came out quickly and was delicious. The service provided by Willie (the bartender) was great. He was very attentive and engaging. Ill definitely be going back!

Great themed restaurant. I found out about this place on Instagram and it did not disappoint. Its known for its tacos, but I opted for the jalapeno burger. It was absolutely delicious. If youre looking for great atmosphere, great food, and great drinks then drop on in. You wont be disappointed.

I m currently sitting here it s 10:20pm, we ordered 1drink (beer tap) bartender brought our check , never asked if we wanted anything else. We didn t order food or any mixed drink. It was beer tap ! Not even 10:30pm yet . This has happened twice . I love this bar and atmosphere but bartender does not give welcoming energy

The food is AMAZING. Tried wings, chips and queso, a bacon cheese burger, pastrami sandwich and a Philly cheesesteak. The two sandwiches were SO good. The decor is so fun and it s overall a great atmosphere. Great place to actually go have a drink and have a conversation. Kids aren t allowed inside, had to go back another time without my baby. But, I totally support that! The bartender could have been friendlier, but she wasn t rude. Will definitely be going back!

If you are reading reviews wondering if you should try this place, DON T pass this place up. The food is outstanding and the decor and vibe make this an experience. You have to experience it yourself. The staff is so friendly and Willie is a warm and inviting bartender that immediately makes you feel welcome with his calm friendly demeanor. Did I mention the food? It s worth reiterating. Oh - and Stone Brewery on tap!!

Cool place! Well kept, very clean. Dios De Los Muertos theme Bar and Grill. Good tacos, they have a story. Ask about it! Taco Tuesday was happening low-key. Had to check this place out as I heard Bens Tacos had been recreated here by the great grandson of the original owner of Bens Tacos. I was not disappointed, the tacos brought back childhood memories of eating these tacos on the corner of Park St. and E Delta. They were damn good. The menu has these meat and potato tacos priced at $7.50 for five. However, the bartenderess advised the price was really $9 for 5 tacos. But when I got my receipt, I was charged $9.25 for the 5 tacos. Midtown Spirits has lost my business. I will not give my money to a business that falsely lists its prices. One it is unethical and two, Im pretty sure against the law. Midtown Spirits knows the prices listed for their tacos is wrong and yet hasnt corrected it.
