I have been here several times my sisters asked for carrot soup and it was like baby food went bad! Soggy sweet potato fries, I asked for my usual chef Salad and it was like a different dish, my nephew asked for a burger ant the total check was $94 I tipped $10, but when I saw the check at home the gratuity was added, then why you kept the tipp line? so the total tipp was like $27 is this LEGAL?

The food was as good as when I used to frequent when I lived in El Paso. Recently, I was part of a group of 8 people who decided to dine there on my suggestion. The service was garbage. Our server rolled her eyes multiple times, once when I asked if we could get silverware for our food and another time when I asked for another beverage. The restaurant business level was normal for a lunch service so its unclear why the service we got was so clunky. Not a manager in sight, either. The one thing our server didnt forget to do was add the gratuity to the check. Seems like The Greenery needs to up its service game.

Went in with my mil and baby. We waited TWENTY minutes until someone came and sat us. I asked multiple servers if they could help us and they said no. The food took 35 mins to get to us, by this time it was a whole hour we were there, barely getting our food. My baby was so fussy at this point so I asked for a box for all of our food and asked for muffins. The muffins were so cold that it felt like they were taken out of the ice box. THEN TO TOP IT OFF! Gratuity is added to the check without any notice. We didn t know this so our server made out with 35% tip. Which was very undeserving.

The food had too much seasoning to the point that my grandpa couldnt finish his enchiladas and my meal gave me an immediate stomach ache. Despite the restaurant looking empty, our server took forever to bring us our food and when we asked for something they would bring it 20 mins later. We ordered the salpicon with corn tortillas, however the tortillas arrived once I was finished with my food despite asking for them twice (why theyre not in this picture). I was wondering why the service was so bad until we got the check with added gratuity. When I arrived they had cleaning supplies and a vacuum on the table and cleaned up in front of us and sat us there despite having many other free tables available. They sat us next to a table where you could hear the food delivery service go off nonstop because they wouldn t answer the alarm. Someone had to complain for them to turn it off. The service, atmosphere, and food were overall disappointing.

The service was pretty good, but the food did take an inordinate amount of time to get to our table. They were not too busy, but it was very worth the wait! A little blast from the past here in the decor, but the food and service made up for it. Husband had the Green Chicken Enchiladas which had a great spice, would ask for more sauce, but great overall. Mom had the flautas, which had a great crunch and the guacamole was supe fresh! I had the Turkey Avo and Swiss sandwich, oddly it was a hot sandwich which I didnt think about, but it was amazing! Fries were hot and crunchy as well!

Went there about a month ago stood out in waiting area 10 minutes no one came to seat my party of 5. A server saw us got some pastries or coffee never acknowledged us either. I called restaurant from my phone they said well be right with you. No one showed up we left. It was on a Sunday at 505pm restaurant closes at 6. What a shame

We dined there two nights ago. The server told me that rather than having a full sandwich ($14) I should have a HALF, with a cup of soup and it would be LESS expensive. She also said I should have a small dinner salad for $3 more. When I received the bill, it was for a FULL sandwich, full soup, plus the $3 side salad. The bill was $22.50 as opposed to maybe $14 -$15 dollars! Thats deception.

We have been coming here for years. Loved it. Unfortunately, when we went last week, we were seated near the kitchen and we spent the whole meal listening to the cook slam the bell, yell at the waitstaff, and curse. My husband asked to speak to the manager (something he never does after years of working in the food service). He was so upset at how abusive the cook was. We were told there was no manager. So there was no one in house to protect the waitstaff from an abusive chef. Families with children were there in earshot of everything. Working with the public is hard enough without the chef making it worse. We will not be back.

Ok, Im going to start this with the service and the cook staff seems to be superb. With the low amount of staff, the business has top performers working their butts off. That being said, my French Dip came out cold and some of the vegetables still had their stickers on (which is concerning). However, the texture and presentation of the meals were top notch, I think that if they could add a few more people to their wait and cook staff this restaurant will excel. I hope the new owner makes these small changes and succeeds.

Before the change of ownership the place was solids. Good food, good service, and trustworthy overall. This las timw i took my family expecting the same as i was gping for something different than whay they usually eat when visiting El Paso. I was disappointing. My fav, chicken pot pie, looked like a hot chicken salad insted of the chicken stew that comes with it. Burger was ok but cold. Fishticks were fine. The thai salad continues to be very tasty. Our server didnt really helped us with the situation. Fam was disappointed and I left embarrassed. I whish they had done more for us.

This is an excellent restaurant inside Sunland Park Mall. The menu is quite varied but excellent. One of my favorites is the Southwestern Tuna which is pole caught tuna salad with long green chiles on jalapeño bread. Its delicious.

Always loved The Greenery. My last visit was very disappointing. Papis potato soup was brown and different. How can a tuna melt not be good? We had the half sandwich and there was no flavor?? Efficient and very pleasant waiter! I had the basaltic chicken with the tamale and it was done right. The muffins, especially the zucchini, are always delicious. Penne pesto chicken was also prepared really tasty. The potato soup was creamy and with a tad of Tabasco added the perfect heat.

So disappointing my husband and I decided to stop by for the first time a server passed by didn t greet us, (ok maybe she s busy), once again passes by with dirty plates, not even a hello . We stay waiting about four more minutes, the phone rings, the same employee goes to answer a second customer walks in. Same employee hangs up the phone and deliberately ignores us and greets the second customer .. second employee walks up to the front (we think, hey finally we re about to be greeted) nope! Get ignored again. Was really excited to try this place out . Not sure if I ll ever be back again.

Noise was distracting especially when one young man decided to vacuum the carpet where we were seated. It made a loud screeching noise in addition to being kind of gross while we were eating. I mentioned the noise to our server and she said offhandedly, hes vacuuming . First time going here for lunch. We ordered the Calamari, Turkey AVO Swiss, and the Taco Fajitas. Tried to order the wings but they were out of the sauce, the server said the sauce is amazing... Calamari was good, a few pieces that the batter was soggy but was still decent. Turkey AVO Swiss seemed like something you could make at home and the Fajita Tacos (steak) with corn tortillas... the steak wasnt very flavorful and tasted like it was frozen, the tortillas... youre in El Paso serving those (soggy, falling apart). Really wanted to try those wings, place looked good but probably wont eat there again.

I ordered 2 salads to take to work, I have been a customer for more than 5 years, the salad was always great and today I decided to never buy it again because my salad came with practically no meat, chewy toast and very little amount of everything. I paid $28 dlls x both and when I told the cashier they were not served as always, she just said I dont know what you expected, I told her what I had always paid and obtained, she told me she couldnt do anything and the manager was too busy to leave and that he was waiting for $14 dlls What a shame to lose a frequent client for 5 years its not at all what it used to be

First of all, greenery represents not just the way they decorate their entire restaurant, but also the way they cook and serve their food in a light way, which gives the flavours but not the greasy. Ordered their pulled beef salad (the beef was so well blended with gravy), green chillies meatloaf (meatloaf well seasoned), and french dip sandwich (delicious even without dipping), ALL VERY NICE !!! What a nice surprise! I saw a commercial about this restaurant prior to my coming to eat here in April 2023. I hadn t been to Sunland Park Mall in years and was saddened by the emptiness of closed businesses but happy that this restaurant is still there and viable . I ordered the Greek salad, half chicken salad sandwich, and sweet potato fries. My husband ordered the cheeseburger and beer-battered fries. DELICIOUSNESS! Great meal! Great Service and ambiance! Dinner Monday night was terrible. The staff is unresponsive and the prices are way too high. 75 bucks for two and the food is horrible. No one really cares as we expressed concern and it was met with indifference. I believe there was a fee for a CC on top of the high prices for very very poor dinner so be aware and at least check. I was discussed so I didnt much care. I tried the terrible rendition of Chicken Jerusalem which is green dry and tasteless. My wife had a very poor Sheppards pie also dry dry dry. If there was less than one star Id use it . Ive come here since it was at the Popular at Basset Center and what a let down. Very disappointed mostly because no one cares. The place was empty and maybe I understand why.

Ive been coming here since I was a kid. The food is always delicious!! If you love onions you MUST try their onion soup. I would also recommend their margaritas! The atmosphere is nice, theres rarely a wait and the food is so good!

I am a healthy eater. This place offers simple but healthy plates: soups, sandwiches, and salads. My favorite is the Cobb salad on my go-days when there is no time for cooking. The Cobb salad is prepared with plenty of chicken and avocado for protein and oils for the skin. The place is clean. The staff is quick to serve and super friendly. The prices are fair. I rarely go to the mall, but I do drop in for a quick bite when in the area or craving a Cobb salad.

I ve worked in the service industry for over a decade and have never had such a terrible dining experience. I didn t complain at the restaurant bc I guess they forgot to schedule a manager for todays shift. (No one making rounds to check on tables, which is standard) Waitress was awful, slow and forgetful. Forgot to put in the kids order and realized it until she was serving the adults. Not going back. Service is key, regardless on how ok the food is.
