This place is definitely adorable. I didnt know what to expect when someone else reviewed and said the same. But it is. Its nostalgic and a good time for all ages. Theres an assortment of arcade games...pacman, Mario, mortal combat, street fighter, etc. All the games we grew up with and loved. Will definitely be back again soon!

Its an adorable place to go. Its incredibly clean and the machines are tended to, none broken. It was also really cheap, $7 per person all you can play which was awesome. They not only had an arcade but they had an outside area, which had air hockey, pool, and ping pong. Lots of variety, definitely going again.

The family that owned the place was extremely nice and it costs around $10 to play unlimited arcade games. If you grew up on classics like Pac Man and Galaga, or you just want to hang out for an hour or two, this is definitely the place to go.

OMG! this was a lot of fun you pay to enter and can play as long and as many games as you want. They don t have a ton but enough to keep you entertained. BUT be prepared for your hand to hurt from pressing the buttons

This is such a cool place! Tons of fun games, including pin ball machines, pool, pac man, street fight, just to name a few. The owners were so nice and attentive. The food was tasty, especially the wings. The owner was saying they re planning on starting a karaoke night, so we re looking forward to that. Definitely recommend spending your Saturday night here!

We recently hosted our Pre-Fathers Day Celebration event at Gnarly Novelties & Arcade with RGV DADS, and it was a fantastic experience! Mr. Edgar Montoya and his family were incredibly accommodating and went above and beyond to ensure our event was a success. They provided a large fan for us in the outdoor area, covered the tables, and kept everything spotless with plenty of trash cans available. Their team helped us carry items inside and allowed us to decorate the space with a banner and balloons. The arcade itself is amazing, featuring the best retro games, billiards, air hockey, and claw machines. They even helped us track our visitors by having them scan a QR code upon entry and provided an area for us to display our RGV DADS merchandise. Mr. Edgar Montoya and his family truly made us feel welcome and supported. If youre looking for a venue to host an event, I highly recommend Gnarly Novelties & Arcade. Thank you for making our event so special!

It was a great experience playing billards. The owner said they will be expanding the outside of where the pool tables are. Inside its all about the arcade. The young lady at the cash register was very polite and knowledgeable about the business. Gave us information about what they have since it was my first time there. Felt so at home. It seems to be like its a family running business. It does need some upgrades in some areas but I know this business will succeed for many years. They have music coming from speakers. Soft drinks and hot meals. I was told that they welcome BYOB. Thats good for beer drinkers. I will be back soon.

The place was a blast from the past and really took me back to the good ol days! My fiancé and I went there for a date night and it was absolutely so much fun! All the games work and there even serve snack which is a plus! They have billiard tables in their outside patio which was nice. We definitely had so much fun and was also very affordable. Awesome arcade! Recommend to go give it a try, my wife and I spent a few hours and the fee was only $6 per person for all day pass any game. We didnt try the food, but they have a menu of food and drinks. Customer service was top notch, very courteous and attentive staff.

We had a great time celebrating my husbands birthday at Gnarly! He was so excited because they had all his favorite childhood video games! He was like a kid in a candy store! They have a wide variety of arcade games to choose from, pool tables, ping pong and more, there was something for everyone we invited! When I entered the place, it looked really cool. It was my first time being in that place. The staff who attended me (who i believe its the owner) welcomed me really nice. Inside looked retro. Awesome place to play retro arcade games while in a chill environment. Cute back patio with pool tables and picnic tables. Would recommend if you want to find a new place in RGV to have some fun. Definitely going back soon.

My grandchildren and my spouse and I went on Thursday.Evidently on Sunday,Tuesday-Thursday -they have $4 all you can play. Its a Mom and Pop run place and you can tell they are very proud of their place! Its not a HUGE place, but, if you have little ones, that can be a good thing because they can only go so far. They have a ton of games-even pinball!!! That is my favorite! Sadly, hes STILL looking for a Frogger-my OTHER favorite. So, if you know of one for sale in great condition that he doesnt have to sell his kidneys to buy, please let him know!!! Love supporting small businesses! We will be back!!
