Fun first experience riding out today. Learned much from the experienced bicyclists that will definitely improve future runs here in the trail. The city needs to remove the miscellaneous debris that pepper the trail like the random bits of concrete or asphalt clumps.

I adore this park, but Im disappointed with the citys strict closure policy at sunset. It feels restrictive, reminiscent of non-American countries lacking freedom. Consider how South Padre would fare if its beaches closed after sundown. Nature holds its allure at night, and evening hikes under moonlight with flashlights are delightful. Despite this setback, the park remains a clean and beloved destination.

Wonderful place to take family. Great for catching sunsets, going on a walk, or just hanging out with the ducks. Has adequate room for a BBQ, picnic, or photo shoot.

We love this park. Ive been coming here since my babies were born. We try to go by at least twice a week and today we drove by, didnt stop because its a little chilly but we caught a glimpse of these little grey foxes! They scurried across the front of my car so I stopped and they sat on the other side of the fence to watch us as we tried to get a video. The kids and I were so excited! We will never forget. We love nature and this was a great memory.

Excellent 3 mile loop. Lots of pumping required. Good trails to progress sharp cornering, braking, jumps, and pumping.

Great new nature trail that runs 3 miles for biking and hiking. They have a porta poty for restroom needs along with 2 covered park benches. I will say the terrain was a bit tough for a jog with the short hills, quick turns and loose gravel in areas. But was a fun trail that is different than most trails around the Valley. Has a decent amount of shade as their are mesquite trees all around. Need to be careful when biking as their is broken glass, lose branches, metals wire & random cement debris around the course. Plan on making it a new running route.

You been to the trails in Harlingen, Brownsville and Mission. You want a bit more of a challenge? Well this short 3 mile course is definitely worth a visit. It is relatively short, but there is enough technicality here to keep you challenged. If you are a beginner, there is a shorter version to the 3 miles that you can start off with. You definitely want a true mtb here with the right tire set up and dont forget your helmet. Be on the look out for a nice climb towards the end. Be safe. Have fun

Short fun ride to make you break a sweat! Its a 3 mile loop but still technical with sharp turns. Do bring your mountain bike since the terrain is still in its infancy so you may slide around with a less aggressive or thin tire. Do hope they expand on it like they did in Harlingen!
