My beans were not sealed in the plastic wrap. When I pulled out the brown bag from the plastic bag the soup from the beans had spilled and so the brown bag was wet. The bag tore and the cup of beans slipped out and spilled all over my lap and floor. Didnt enjoy my meal.

I have eaten at this establishment for around 20 years. The food was excellent and served quickly. The staff on the other hand seemed to not want to be there and rude. I recommend the drive-thru for the food and to skip the lackluster staff attitude.

So I got a combo of bistek with avocado and cheese. First and foremost, when I left the drive thru I decided to check the order, I come to find out the meat is cold and the tortillas as well.. if you re charging me 14-15 dollars for tacos, I should at least get good quality without me having to return and complain. Im not one to do these types of things but I would not recommend I ordered for pick up and when we viewed our plates it was not what we ordered asked worker to speak to manager to get a refund on order because again it wasnt what we ordered and worker said the manager was to busy to come out to speak to us and refused to give us a refund.

I ve been going here since my college days. I was a regular for years. The quality of food has changed and the service is very different than before. My order has been messed up several times. I ve called to report the order incorrect several times and I m offered a credit but honestly I just want them to get their stuff together. They never put more than a tble spoon of meat. Today I sent my husband over to pick up dinner. If i had just taken a picture of what we got. I was given a to-go plate at the bottom the tortillas were flat on the bottom and the meet was in the corner of the plate mixed with onion. If I wanted to make my own tacos I would have done so at home. The flavor is just gone. I m just soo disappointed with the service and the quality of food. I ve tried giving them the benefit of the doubt but paying $45 for just 2 orders of tacos and a sincronizada is way too much for what I m getting. Will be going somewhere else from now on. I don t know what happened to this restaurant but something needs to change.

My debit card information was stolen (compromised at a gas station)and used at this restaurant. They take phone orders and get the card information over the phone and when someone goes to pick up the order they dont verify that the person has the card or if it even belongs to them. The thief got over $45 of food. If someone is ordering that much they should verify info., but it seems that they dont care just as long as they get paid. Ironically the cameras didnt catch the area the thief was parked at when the employee gave them the food.

University Dr., location in Edinburg, Tx. Had to give less than (5) over all for the Pirata Taco Combo Special wasnt as expected. Meat was bland, no flavor almost had a liver meat taste as opposed to apparent fajita (gato por liebre) joke of the day seems like. Had the taste been better, the deal of the day would of hit the spot! However, their aguas frescas are DELICIOUS especially the pineapple (piña). Overall, our server was on point courteous & efficient. Restaurant was considerably clean, pleasantly displayed w/Mexican artisan curios & atmosphere was festive w/moderate sound of traditional Mexican music pleasing to the ambiance. Perhaps order something different nxt time for (5) stars. Coming from Houston area suburbs, visiting our RGV family roots hm area calls for local gr8 food. Thats all we expect when we visit any nostalgic RGV restaurant whether theyre fast food or high end (5) star elitist.

The place is so clean. A customer spilled their drink. They clean it in a fast and timely manner. They greet me when I enter and exit. Raymundo was very polite and very helpful. The Establishment has beautiful designs on the wall and colors. The food was warm and delicious. I truly recommend this place. Im a happy Customer. Kid-friendliness: Raymundo was an excellent server.

I been a customer to this restaurant for a few years now and is been a roller coaster in service good or bad , this time I hate to do it but the way my family and I was treated is going over the line , we order our food and we got it I will say in a decent time frame but we notice attitude from waitresses arguing and cursing at each other ,we were hungry cause we work late that day and we decided to dine in at LA Mexicana restaurant I ask for a second round of tacos restaurant was still open bout 20 minutes to closing time people still dining and waitresses started putting chairs on the tables customer started to leave cause of there actions , mean while my second order was not ready few minutes goen by and a cook came out and whit attitude told the waitress that kitchen was close and he wasnt going to do it , after 10 minutes allegations between waitresses and the person in charge , they finally did it to go but the tacos were so full of grease or oil they gave it to me pretty much meaning for me to leave cause we are closing , so unhappy took the order pay for everything and notice a waitress and cook fooling around . waitress PINCHING THE COOK NIPPLE and him falling to the floor and everyone laughing while cleaning the floor this to me is very upsetting something I dont want to see nor my family to witness EMPLOYEES HARASSING AT EACH OTHER having fun supposedly and not having time to serve or cook meals and make customers feel welcome or happy Im sorry yall I been a cook and chef for a long time and this is so very unacceptable and unprofessional in every way , yall hope owner will take matters on his hand .

absolutely disappointed. placed an order over the phone, was told order would be ready in 25-30 mins. go in to pick up my order & waiting about 5-7 mins. when opening up my order at home tacos were hard, tortilla looked like they had been reheated. aside from that they forgot all the fixing to the tacos. when calling to let them know about the order, the lady on the phone was rude & i considerate about it.

At door your welcomed with signs about availability and inflation that prices may vary, prices did vary 13$ per combo, menu literd with stickers of raising prices, topper took my 3 year old daughter wich made it 6 people so an extra 15% tip for slow service, for 2 refill drink minimum, please watch video, next time Ill use my shirt

Today I went to eat with a friend at lunch time from Montecristo and everything for nothing! We ran out of lunch time and they never served us our food, a waitress told us that the orders go in order but we saw several people eating who arrived after us and they never served us, we had to leave to get to our place on time job! And without eating! Its not the first time weve gone to that place and we know in advance that they are very fast, in fact there werent many people so there was no reason for it to take so long! There should be more supervision.... and we didnt even have time to go somewhere else

The prices are not updated and when the lady went to the window I told her that on their menu they have the price less than what they charged me and she responds saying that they have already asked to change it several times and management has not done so. The worst thing was when speaking with the manager Héctor Peña from the beginning he did not show any type of consideration and much less empathy he only defended his point saying that the menu says that prices are subject to change. Not even an apology for the confusion and his attitude was on the floor since he does not show any figure of a manager with customer service. Terrible service from the manager.

We picked up to go. The tortillas for our tacos were hard and the tacos were cold. They gave us 3 limes each that were old and dry. The quality of the meat was poor. We dont live far from the restaurant so it wasnt that we were late to pick up. The tacos were old and not fresh. It was almost as if it was an old order they were trying to get rid of.
