Very busy, but very much worth the wait for the food. They had a huge party taking up half the restaurant. We didnt have a very long wait, but the staff kept apologizing as if they are used to being faster. I think it was below their own expectations, but it was well within our expectations. The food was delicious, and I want to go back and try more of their menu. The atmosphere is very much a down home diner feel. The walls are covered in local, historical pictures as well as pictures of many local leaders with a brief bio of each. Parking: There are many popular shops in this plaza, so parking can become limited if all shops are busy as well.

Terrible experience. And it all came down to service. Food was fair. Ordered breakfast. There were two other tables occupied and one already had their food. Took approximately 45 min to get food. The waitress seemed to forget about us and didn t get us refills on coffee. Had to ask another waitress for the coffee. Then after our meal when we paid they over charged us. The menu had one price and they charged us 2.$ extra. Then they had a sign promoting tacos for 1.19 outside and charged us 4.50 for the two tacos to go. We brought it to the owners attention and after seemed to be a debate he gave us back 2$ and didn t want to honor the sign for tacos outside. Very disappointing to say the least. Will not be going back for sure.

I don t even know how to explain this! My first time writing a review anywhere! Service is terrible didn t give us napkins or silverware had to ask for it. Tortilla was raw. Toast on patty melt was like a stone. Chips were stale. And the workers are just sitting on their phones. No worth the prices either. Sweet tea is straight out disgusting tasted like chemicals.

The waitress named Zoila was very rude and is hard of hearing. She pretended to not know what we were saying and then just walked off before we were done asking her about our order. The other waitress was nice and tried to make an excuse of why she was rude but that should have not even have had to happen. There was a hair in food of one of the plates as well. Not likely to come back here. The owner was very nice and friendly but he may need to talk to his staff about customer service. If you don t want to wait on people then don t get a waitress job. Plain and simple.

A homemade taste of home, a quiet environment in which you can enjoy and talk. In addition, the ladies who work serving are very friendly. Speaking of prices, they are very affordable. Just a small observation as a suggestion, they should have Coffeematte powdered milk and give more than 3 for the corn tortillas since 2 tortillas for a full plate are very few .

The worse quality of food. I ordered a Botana for 1 with fajita. The fajita was very thin strips of mostly FAT. I asked for extra meat and I was told they can give me more meat but I would be charged extra. The pictures posted outside of the restaurant are not even close to how the plate really looks.

Good breakfast options. Place offers a breakfast special. Fast and friendly service. Facilities are nice and clean, open space. Tables are not crowded, which is nice. Place is decorated with pictures of Edinburg and some of the owners family history. (Great touch) I had visited previously and the place visited by local veterans. FYI: breakfast plate served with hashbrowns. (Greasy) The place also offers a lunch buffet

Came to this Restaurant with a friend to have breakfast tacos. It was our first time here in this Restaurant. Place was very clean and Not too Crowded. We enjoy the food and service when visiting my parents this is where we have started dining in feels like home. My parents are regulars and enjoy my place cafe . Papis favorite is the menudo and mom enjoys trying new things but loves the food. The place takes you back Edinburg history lane with all the picture bulletin photos in the cafe really neat to get to see that too. Hope to be back soon!

Waitress was no good, she was so in a hurry to get someone elses order that she never put my order in. I waited 1 hour for my menudo. The menudo was NOT GOOD at all. They clearly didnt take the time to cut up the pieces to at least enjoy it. I wont be back for sure. $30 for 2 meals, waste of money.
