We used to love eating here years ago. We came back to visit the valley after moving away and were really disappointed. There was a hair in a taco, the limes were old, and half of the cilantro was black. The interior of the restaurant also looks dilapidated and is in serious need of some improvements.

I m 9 months pregnant and I love coming here for tacos lol! My favorite thing from the menu is the #2 combo for only $11 dollars! The service can be better since they re a little short staffed but every time I go, the employees always greet me and give me good customer service!! Every time I eat at a taco place I go based on their beans and tortillas, hence la taquiza has yummy beans and hand made tortillas! The best :)

07 March 2024: Seemingly racist staff will delay in serving caucasian patrons if they can prolong it for as long as possible. The staff member available served three other parties before my friend and I had a chance to ask for our orders. Three other parties who were seated after us received their food before we got anything. If you do not call the staff over repeatedly, you will be ignored. On the other hand, if you are law enforcement 07March2024) or do not look caucasian then you will receive prompt and excellent service. These gentlemen got their food within four minutes of entering the restaurant, were greeted professionally, and had their food brought out quickly. Barring this, whether understaffed or not, it was abundantly clear I was not welcome in this establishment. Which is a shame as the food is tremendously delicious, full of flavor, and wonderfully crafted.

Worst place ever staff was rude we asked for an order of Gringas, sincronizada and desebrada plat, 3 groups of 5 came in and they were served first we were there for 1 hours before getting our food When we notified the sever they just brought us more beans and chips he said I can give you this while you wait he was laughing and he called the manager and he said tell them to wait When we got our food it was all quemado and súper grasoso!!! I was driving by this Mexican restaurant and because it didnt appear too busy at around 12:45 pm. I went inside, where there were a couple of tables with satisfied looking folks. I ordered the street tacos of carne asada with avocado and the chicken fajita tacos. The asada tacos were very good, but the chicken tacos were a bit dry but flavorful. I will give a go again and try something different.

This place is nice and a quick filling bite, I cant say whether or not its always fast because I came when it was relatively empty but nonetheless this place was nice, sure it wasnt the tastiest food Ive tasted from a place like this but I can say it was quick and very filling! I really enjoyed the tacos here. Bad thing they only had bistek and al pastor. The taste of the meat tasted fresh and well seasoned. The tortillas were hand made and salsas were fresh and spicy. Everything was great, but I gave it 3 stars because they didnt have the meat that I wanted. I was expecting to eat tripas, mollejas, or fajitas, but they didnt have those meats. Wheelchair accessibility: The place is nice and open, so anyone with a wheelchair can maneuver easily inside.

Food was great. Im not from Edinburgh and dont know the area, so I was searching for Mexican food restaurants. There are many. I decided I wanted tacos and looked at a few places, but theres a picture posted by another reviewer that looked delicious to me, so I went to La Taquiza. I post a picture of the tacos I ate. Its a combination of different tacos. The combination I got is not on the menu, so I showed the guy the picture I saw in the reviews. He told the cook and 15 minutes later I was chowing down. The beans were very good and the tacos were excellent. All the meats were juicy and tender. The el pastor taco was one of the best Ive eaten, rich with flavor. The corn tortillas tasted freshand homemade! Parking: Its in a strip center, so theres plenty of parking.

I have always loved the food here until yesterday. I had family visiting from out of town and brought them to eat tacos and baked potatoes..We were almost done with our food and then my daughter found this in her potato. We were so grossed out and wanted to puke!!Waitress spoke to management and stated they passed inspection. We couldnt help but wonder if anyone else had accidentally eaten a bug/bugs. After this experience Im not too sure if Ill go back anymore. So grossed out and embarrassed to take family here Ill probably do more cooking at home now. Be careful out there

Located on Sugar Road in between the entrance to Walmart and the Golden Chick, La Taquiza offers a variety of authentic Mexican tacos and loaded baked potatoes. There are wooden booths lined up on the right as you enter, as well as a number of tables and chairs in the dining room, which is large enough to accommodate families or groups. Bright colors of yellow and fuschia on the walls and Mexican paper cut out (papel picado) brighten up the ceiling. You can order at the front or take a seat, and one of their servers will take your order. This evening, their servers were friendly, attentive, and fast.. I ordered at the counter. Once at my table, I was brought some frijoles preparados and my drink. They had several aguas frescas (limonada, horchata, and jamaica), and I chose the limonada, which was well-made, not too strong, nor too tart, nor too sweet. My RB tacos arrived promptly. They are bistek, avocado, and cheese on freshly made corn tortillas, served with grilled onions and cilantro on the side. An order was five tacos, which were well stuffed. There were two salsas from which to choose: a mild green salsa and a spicy red one. I put some of both on my tacos and enjoyed it. The food is delicious. The service was great. The prices were a bit high considering what other taco places offer, but the quality was good. The only thing I didnt care for was the style of music, norteño style música de banda, which was just loud enough to make a conversation a chore. I would have preferred a softer jaliciense style mariachi, but thats a personal preference. There is a sink at the end of a hall where you can wash your hands, but there were no paper towels in the dispenser. I looked in the mens restroom and could not see any paper towels there either. What was more serious is there was no toilet paper! Perhaps, like in some restaurants in Mexico, you have to ask for some at the counter? Or maybe I caught them at a bad time. There is plenty of parking in the private parking lot, which is shared with a few other businesses. Overall, I enjoyed it, and I think you will too. Just BYOTP if you think you might need it.

Overall, pretty mid. I ordered 5 tacos de carne with potato, beans, and a drink and paid ~$19. The horchata is powder and you can taste it. The tacos were good and the tortilla is made a mano, their green salsa is amazing! But Im pretty sure their potato is mixed with the powder kind because it taste weird. Honestly, I dont think its worth the money. There is many other places with good tacos for less, especially small food trucks! Also their service was bad, not rude or anything, just unorganized and inattentive.

First time visiting and first impression the place had plenty of guest eating so food had to be good. We sat down and immediately our drink order was taken and menus handed to us. Menu consists of your traditional valley foods tacos, baked potato, quesadillas etc. the complimentary item was a cup of beans that tasted good, we enjoyed them. Ive always like coming to this place but today something was off and it was the pastor tacos. I ve been here a few times and it s pretty much hit or miss. Sometimes my pastor will be too salty and times under season. Service lacks for check ups, but the owner is always out an about greeting and doing the servers work. My wife likes the lonches here so I decided to stop in for 2 orders. 30mins in I was like it s taking a bit too long considering there s no tables waiting on for food then 10min more I see a staff walking in with a bag of the lonche bread so they ran out and didn t tell me about the wait smh.

First time trying this place and I must say they are way too overpriced for what you get! We were waiting at the drive through for over 5 minutes until they finally took our order (keep in mind they had seen us but still ignored us) I had to literally call them to let them know I was at the window waiting. This place is awesome!! I think it is a family run business. They take alot of pride in their food. They are very patient and kind explaining the menu. We had a rather large party with several small children and the man taking our orders was a Rock Star! The Aguas Frescas are VERY refreshing and FREE REFILLS!!! No refills on sodas- they charge by can. Food was very good! You DEFINITELY get your moneys worth AND MORE here. We will continue to come back and continue to bring other people with us! Today, 4/23/2022 @8:35pm, I ordered 3 orders of the toreados tacos and a large potato to-go. I must say the carne is good, nothing exceptional, just good. However, the tortilla disintegrates with the meats moisture and tears in your fingers as you get it to bite the taco. I have ordered from them 3 times before and all the times I specifically ask them for raw chopped onion with cilantro and they say they will include, they never do, just the cilantro and grilled onion. This gives the impression that they have them pre-cooked onions and wrapped in foil and do not fresh cut your requested onion or other veggies. The beans are average tasting, nothing impressive. The cilantro is not fresh, its old and yellowish most of the time. I hope the owner sees this review and opts to up the quality of service in the drive thru. They really need to pay attention to detail and place the customers needs first if they want to grow, otherwise this business will lose many customers.
