The very clean and efficient . The welcome was excellent, very efficient and welcomed us with a member s gift. The breakfast was wonderful. Miros Azuara who was in charge was friendly, helpful and the plates she served us were delicious. Everything was clean and orderly. That style of breakfast should be in all BW Plus hotels. Rooms: Very modern and efficient design.

Hotel with shops 10 minutes by car. Very clean rooms and the breakfast service is the most complete I have ever had. Mrs. attended us. Meros Azuara in the dining room and was always very attentive so that we didnt miss anything. We will definitely return to stay there.

My family and I have stayed here a few times now and enjoyed our trip this last weekend immensely. Staff are all great, especially the breakfast lady! The kids love the pool and we utilized the bbq pits they have on site. Its pretty quiet considering there were a lot of families with kids. I was worried my kids were too loud but our neighbors said we didnt bother them. Breakfast is delicious and while I havent visited the bar, I enjoy hearing the karaoke from outside. My singular complaint was that the floors were pretty gross. Within 5 min of my kids walking with their shoes off, their feet were black. Im positive housekeeping would have come and mopped for us if we asked but I figured my kids would make a mess anyway in and out of the pool so it wasnt a deal breaker. Otherwise the room was clean and beds were comfy.

This place was a bit out of the way for what we usually do in McAllen. But the room was well kept and the pool was nice. Breakfast was good. The rooms have tile floor and are a bit cold compared to most hotels. Rooms: The rooms have tile floors.

Was supposed to stay for 4 nights. Stayed for one. Our room, 114, had a heavy mold smell. Manager showed us room 123 the next morning which also had a heavy mold smell. Read a review on another site that said room 112 was the same way. We left due to my wife having a severe reaction to this issue.

We love to stay at this particular BW because the great breakfast, close to the border for shopping, great stores to shop in the McAllen Mall, delicious food at the local restaurants and like to attend different local events. Rooms: Rooms are big and clean. We like the Suites. There s lots of room in them. I like how the suites are separated for privacy.

Pool was enjoyable, although breakfast was a bit limited the lady that served me was very nice. BUT as for out night it literally seemed out of a scene of a horror movie. I dont usually give bad reviews but since I do have a family of 4 it really shook me to witness what I did in room 119. It started with seeing my second to last child be pulled by his legs around 2:00AM then he woke up and told me he was scared and I advised his other brother to sleep with him him cause they usually dont like to sleep next to eachother and after forcing his older brother to sleep next to him he couldnt go to sleep he claimed to hear things that were frightening him and then I felt as if someone was walking towards the restroom and when I did both my boys jumped out and screamed saying they saw a dark figure walking across my bed. So we all slept on one bed. Well so to say slept I felt as if someone hit my legs in the middle of the night synchronized with a loud thump we herd all night. After that I prayed for my familys protection over the beds but I could not sleep due to the thumping I heard all night and the fact that my 1 yr old keps moving up off the bed everytime I closed my eyes as for my oldest 13 yr old his pillow kept being dragged out from underneath his head . I honestly dont care if you believe anything Im claiming I witnessed but if your sensitive to the supernatural or simply have a family I do not recommend this room for you it felt horrible seeing my kids tormented. I hope my prayers help who ever stay there in the future. As for the temp/AC it was hot all night till like 7:00AM is started to feel cool. Rooms: Do not recommend room 119 for a family Safety: Unsure what to say about the safety

This was a nice hotel the only reason I won t be staying here again is because it has cockroaches. I checked in really late first thing opening the door there was one on the backboard I was too tired to even go to the front desk. My husband killed it. Ok we went to sleep then in the middle of the night my daughters woke me up screaming that there was a cockroach on their face! This is not how I was expecting my stay all I wanted was to relax feel well rested bc I had a state board exam the following morning. Rooms: Cockroaches

We stay at BW often when we travel. This is the first one weve been at that someone else was making the tortillas and waffles. There were no eggs or meats. The little lady was getting frustrated with everyone in line. Our room was not as shown in picture. Rust was in multiple.places in bath. The AC FINALLY started cooling our room down about 4 AM

The people are really super nice from the check-in to your the lady that cooks in the morning And the ladies that also do the cleaning your front desk to the bar everybody s super nice Rooms: The rooms are super clean nice good mattresses. It s really a clean place. Nearby activities: You got a shopping center to the south, maybe half to 3/4 mile restaurants Walmart probably a mile from there convenient Safety: It just seems like a real comfortable place and feel safe there Walkability: You can know go cross street and get good food. The reviews and pictures online were well presented. However, upon arrival and check in, there were several discrepancies. Waking up the next morning, I went to go have breakfast. There wasn t very much to the breakfast and very little was served at that! After coming back to my room, I found that my room had not been serviced! Also, while the AC works and has a hard time measuring the temperature across the room! So it cuts off and will not go lower than 68°! The rooms are fairly clean and spacious so I will say that.

Booked two queen beds room, the A/c was already on which made the temperature perfect for this season of heat! We then hit the pool, another plus it begins from 3ft all the way to 5ft which makes it perfect for the children. This morning got up early 6 am got my complimentary breakfast which was deliciously prepared by Mrs. Miros Azuara! Not only her breakfast brought me joy early in the A.m but her humble and great personality was the cherry on top! Definitely making this hotel my favorite of all Edinburg my hometown Rooms: Spacious, clean, and comfortable beds. Nearby activities: Right in the heart of Edinburg located on canton and Closner. You have HEB and fast food restaurants. Expressway in less than 5 minutes. Safety: The swimming pool was built with children in their mind. 3ft to 5ft which I loved. Cámaras all over which made me feel safe. Food and drinks: Food surpassed my expectations Like my review mentions Mrs. Miros is an Angel! Call the front desk several time no answer. Then when I got a hold of someone, I asked if they could change my sheets cause there was a big stain, but they never came. I left to dinner and sheets weren t ever changed.! Rooms: Rooms were decent and so was the bed but just that big stain that was on there.

I just stayed here with my family. Let me say the only good thing about the place was the breakfast. The lady serving was very nice and accommodating. Now to the bad part. The shower flooded the bathroom every time we used it. There is a one inch ledge to stop the water which is ridiculous. Oh and then Saturday night we couldn t even park in the lot because they apparently have a bar in the hotel so outside was a ton of loud drunk people. I have 3 kids and none of them got good sleep because they put an elephant above us that was stomping around the entire night(yes the entire night). Every time we left our room there was a chainsmoker standing in the way because the ashtray was inconsiderately placed right outside of our room where we were forced to walked by.This is not a family hotel at all. I wouldn t recommend it to anyone. There is a better best western about 5 miles away.

I was extremely surpised by the size of room and how it looked like the pics on the website it was perfect size for four of us! The room service was friendly and the house keeping was great and worked with my stay! Breakfast was great just like home! I stayed at this Hotel from March 15 to 17, with my husband and my two children. Upon arrival after checking in, I went with my 7 and 11 year old children to the pool and my husband stayed in the room. and while trying to make a coffee he found a marijuana cigarette in the bag where the sugar was, I raised a ticket and the manager was supposed to contact us, he never did, I went on Saturday to ask for the manager and he was not there. They gave his card so that I could contact him on Monday, that he will return to work, I had to contact him and his response was that he called the room to say if we wanted to change rooms and that we answered no, haha obviously It never happened, we were asking about him the 3 days we stayed at the hotel and we were never able to talk to him, I do not recommend this hotel, I hope you understand how dangerous the situation is, especially with children in the room, in addition to the fact that there were cockroaches everywhere , this hotel offers poor service from the manager and very poor cleaning of its rooms, not to mention any kind of cleaning, look for another hotel, this is not a good option. First let me start with the breakfast. Breakfast at a hotel should not be this good! You have options like other hotels as far as waffles and such, but Miros makes delicious breakfast tacos fresh every morning. Another thing I liked is the hotel bar. They played live music the last night I was there (floored by the 2 guitarist). Everything else about my stay was great. But let me just say, this Best Western location (Edinburg) is doing things different. Definitely one of the best hotel experiences Ive ever had. Last, the front desk staff were helpful and cleaning staff. Every interaction was pleasant no matter who I spoke to.

The hotel is very pleasant, the room with a king bed is very comfortable, only the pillows are very soft for my taste, it has a bathroom with a tub, a living room, 2 televisions, a micro and a minibar, It includes breakfast, very delicious and Mrs. Miros who serves is super friendly and attentive, I would return if in doubt.

Room was larger than I expected and very clean. Parking was close to room. Longe/bar was open late into night but noise didnt carry to the room. Bed was super comfortable. Was disappointed that late check was an additional charge, even for just an hour over. Front desk was courteous. Small convenience area had sodas, beer and snacks available for purchase. Food truck was parked at location although not open while I was there. Breakfast was ok, warm options like egg patties and sausage patties were available. Best item was the tortillas. Pool area also had BBQ pits available for use. Parking lot had charging station for EVs.

We stayed at the BWplus because we came to Edinburgh to visit my grandmother! And wooooooow!! Excellent option! But the best of all is breakfast. This visit is for 10/29, Your front desk clerk Maria K, was very nice always has a SMILE on her face . when I asked her if we could wait in the parking lot until check in time and she said no we got your room cleaned and it was the room we wanted. She handy me a welcome bag with my favorite cookies and water. I thought that was very nice. She is definitely an asset to your company. Room was exceptionally cleaned. Congratulations Best Western Plus. A easy check in process while traveling with our 2 dogs is a great way to start our stay. The room is clean, comfortable, spacious and .clean. Awesome water pressure in the shower and it comes with some nice smelling body wash and shampoo. Miros served us a tasty breakfast with a smile and made it to go both days. Honestly, it was too much for the two of us. I know where we will be staying every time we come to the valley.

This hotel is a great choice, I loved everything about it. The rooms are very comfortable and clean in detail, the bed is delicious and the air conditioning was a great lifesaver for the heat of the city. I have always stayed at this hotel and sometimes will take Uber from mission to Edinburgh just stay at this hotel. Last Tuesday I took my semi truck to a shop where the mechanic asked me if I can pay him cash which is normal in the valley. I went to flying j got cash at using express code. Came back to the hotel and kept the cash in the drawer and a digital Wallet with my business debit card in it. I woke up in the morning by the sound of the fire alarm cuz they were testing which I thought was very rude to test a fire alarm while the clients are in bed sleeping. Long story short. I forgot the cash and the wallet in the drawer and went to the shop when the mechanic asked me for the cash I was shocked I left the money in the hotel room but when I called the hotel manager they both said the hotel was cleaned and no money was found. I came to my he hotel and confronted them but they kept me waiting and told me they will investigate. What I found out was the both operations manager and the the regional manager as she claimed didn t want to embarrass their employees. This hotel is run by managers who do not care about their clients. As for the cleaners they stole my money but am hoping they can turn on my digital wallet at some point and can trace it. Shame on the hotel owner . The operation manager and the lady who claimed the regional manager.

This is one of the most comfortable and well maintained and managed Best Western in this part of South Texas to experience. The Service and the Server Kathy Ancira was phenomenal during breakfast in the Lounge The Friday Night karaoke was an added bonus. Thank You for a delightful stay in Edinburg Texas!

Terrible service, we reported 3 different incidents in the room and they did not take care of a single one. The manager is conspicuous by his absence. Ill give you details, we requested daily cleaning of the room and on the second day the beds were made but they did not take out the trash, they left dirty glasses on the couch, these were not ours, they did not change the towels. The third day they entered the room, they did not make the beds, they did not collect garbage, they did not change the towels, I dont know why they entered. To finish: we found a little animal in our room. We reported everything, however, the manager never reported, he was never there, the response was always the same, the manager will communicate and this never happened. Rooms: Spacious

My boyfriend and I stayed here for the night and we were well taken care of by their staff members. The entire staff were very welcoming and were helpful. Prices weren t bad as well. They were very affordable. We enjoyed our stay here. We also had breakfast in the morning and everything you can expect ? They had all of it. The whole nine yard. Thank you for having us. We appreciate your business! We will definitely be visiting soon when we come back out this way

Small location with big accommodations after our first stay we knew we would book here again. With a bar, pool, and food truck outside, it s hard to leave the hotel (unless you absolutely had to for The event you came into town for) we will definitely stay again if we need to come back into town. Ps there are charging stations for electric vehicles. I don t own one nor do I like them. But I m happy they accommodate them here. There is also a bbq station with tables and chairs. This little best western had it all. I didn t mention the inside cuz most all nice hotels have the same accommodation. No exception here. It s clean, fresh, and laid out nicely. I can say the water pressure was (chefs kiss) perfect! If you have a bad experience, it would be hard for me to believe. From the front desk to check out it was smooth. Each time we stayed we brought our two barky dogs. And we never had an issue with them.

Almost everything was great about this place. The front desk people were friendly and helpful. The rooms are big with tile floors. The overall property is very nice. The one letdown... was the breakfast last! She was grumpy and unwelcoming. She did not have items ready at the posted times. She had an icy tone to her voice and made me want to leave. Ill stay here again...but eat breakfast elsewhere.

The hotel was very clean. All of the staff that we encountered were super friendly! The mexican style breakfast was the freshest breakfast Ive ever had any hotel and we thoroughly enjoyed it, along with the ladies preparing the food! It was fresh scrambled eggs with a different ingredient mixed in daily (potato, chorizo, bacon, ham) along with refried beans with chorizo, and a fresh warm flour tortilla. The ladies preparing the food were great, as well, and super friendly! :) We will definitely stay here again in the future when visiting our family in South Texas!

I asked for a toothbrush when I arrived 10.2.2022 at 4 pm, was told the hotel didnt have any, and she tried to get me to buy mouthwash. The next morning the girl at the front desk gave me a toothbrush. The girl working Sunday evening didnt know how to do her job or she is a liar and a racist.

The room was clean and up to date. The bed was uncomfortable, old spring mattress, squeaky, and worn out. BW needs to invest in larger better quality pillows instead of couch pillows. (The rooms are outside.) I had a very hard time sleeping due to traffic noise. It was very very loud!!!! I literally thought the window was open it was so loud. My room backed up to a frontage road/traffic light. Not very pleasant after being on the road all night and arriving at 3 am. The price is reasonable for a king suite. I waited 10 mins for someone to come to the front desk to check me. Regards, Tired and not rested

Normally, I love Best Western and even this specific one. This time, they couldnt find my reservation even though I provided my email confirmation. It was already late at night and then it took about 45 minutes to get us a room. I asked about a discount because they lost our reservation and for having to wait, but that didnt happen (other than our membership discount). The beds were missing comforters. I dont recall a refrigerator being in the room this time. I always sleep very well and the breakfast was very good. I feel the rooms are overpriced, but they are clean, quiet and comfortable. I was too tired to take photos! I am sure my next visit will be a 4 star!

Love BestWesternPlus, but this location is an outdoors type motel and climbing stairs outside with luggage in this extreme heat sucks. The TVs at this location didnt have an HDMI to plug-in your FireStick for your personal entertainment. SMH

The new update in the rooms where NICE!! Loved it. Rate it a 10/10 The housekeeping need work!!! I been to La Quinta inn and holiday Inn, I could come back to a clean bed and room. Had a few beers a lounge, figured it was safer to just get a room rather than gamble meeting up with Edinburg PD Checked in room 3am Did not realize check out was 11am, Missed the complimentary breakfast. Clean rooms, great staff and the breakfast! I do have to note this is a renovated Motel. If you have trouble with stairs and they are out of rooms on 1st floor you will want to go else where. No elevators. I also asked to be in a room away from a busy street and we were on the street side of the hotel. Granted we had to reserve the room same day so when I got here and asked for downstairs because I have bad knees they didnt have anything else available. Not their fault they tried. They also had no trouble with a late check out and let me wait in their lobby until my ride got there. But everything was nice and all the reviews about the breakfast were right! Would stay again if they have a room downstairs away from the street side.
