This location always gets the espresso Frappuccino wrong. The drink is always bitter. I order the same way at any other location and it comes out tasting great, but never at this location on university drive.

This is not the first time that they always I mean ALWAYS DONT HAVE inventory it s like why do I keep coming here if they keep telling me they don t have what I want first of all. How can you run out of cups at 9 AM in the morning and not knowing what to do with a huge line behind us letting us know that all they have is a grande cup. Then to make things worse, they don t even have the coffee that I want they don t even have cake pops. They never have the proper inventory. I hate the fact that they built this Starbucks close to other peoples homes and we still cannot get what we ask for. I just don t understand why management cannot properly review or look over what they have in inventory and can t ask a local other Starbucks to help with inventory when you are short that is called teamwork and getting help from your others store, but it seems that you all don t understand that Because like I said, I m so tired of coming here and always telling me they do not have it management here needs to properly look at their stuff or work on something. You have a lot of upset customers now I am looking at other coffee places from now on.

Barista Cory was very condescending and rude, got our order wrong twice and had us waiting for the other half of our order all while it was at the window the entire time saying it was here the entire time i just didn t see and then when we finally got the order it was wrong! I asked for a pot of coffee for a meeting, I know it takes about ten minutes to brew. There was nobody else in the lobby, two cars in the drivethru, and 5 employees. They told me it would take 30 minutes. I asked if they were serious and she shrugged. So I left. Horrible customer service.

I am highly disappointed. For months I have been ordering a frappe and every single time every single hour of the day they say they are always out of whip cream! They dont even tell me until they are handing me my frappe! My daughter can go elsewhere if they just say they dont want to put whip cream. We can go to Dutch Bros or Scooters!

This location has gotten worse and worse. For one they can t properly make an oleato. And it s an expensive drink! And then when you ask them about it, they say call the store for credit, and when you do they give attitude. Went again today because my daughter hadn t had it in a while. I have a lot of stars to use, so figured use it on that and just pay for the drink, I told the girl at the window prior to her scanning the app that I wanted to use them, and she still charged everything to my balance. I noticed after I left since she didn t even say she made the mistake, so again called the store, got attitude about it, that at least I got more stars. That s not the point!!! I have plenty! I agree with all the negative comments. Why can t the orders be done in a reasonable time? There are so many people waiting, impatiently, and for good reason. The longest I ve waited is 45 minutes! Thats crazy! I never complained because I feel sorry for the staff just trying to get it all done. When we finally get our order, it s one item at a time. One drink is getting cold or melting away or the food is getting cold and hard. They don t put items in bags anymore, no napkins, no receipt. Last Friday, 2/2/24, we woke up extra early, waited in line, and it never moved. Cars were honking. Finally, the car who we thought was ordering left. Then, one by one the cars kept leaving. Finally we get to the window to find a paper sign that said they weren t open until 2 pm!! Put a sign at the drive thru. It s very simple. Time was wasted. Just horrible.

This is the worst location would give it 0 stars if I could. I placed my order 30 minutes before getting to the location, once I get there it has not been made while others are coming in and out getting their orders. I asked a male employee with glasses and no name tag about my order, he was extremely rude and walked away in the middle of my talking. When he came back I asked again and he rudely cut me off saying he was going to make it. It s unacceptable how rude this employee was when I asked for my order politely.

Went through the drive thru and ordered a venti mocha Frappuccino with a shot of expresso. Was not done correctly decided to go inside and asked a barista to redo my drink. Even after redoing it the taste was horrible. I don t know why I always have issues in this location never coming here again.

Not the best Starbucks to visit. The male barista w/baseball cap is extremely rude. Not helpful at all. Asked him for cup sleeve and he just ignored me and left me standing, waiting and he had no intention of bringing any. There possibly can t be any reason as to why this location takes so long. The drive thru NEVER moves even when there aren t many vehicles. Tried to avoid this by ordering through the app and didn t get my one drink till more than 20 minutes past the eta that was given to me. I never have either of these issues with any other store and that s cause I order literally everyday (yes a problem I know) not sure if things are run different at this location and I m sure the workers are trying who are very sweet but it s not working. I live less than 3 minutes from here and would much rather drive 10-15 mins out to another one, even at that I m sure I ll return home with my drink Way before I would if I ordered here.

Good luck getting your order in less than half an hour. I usually place the order at least 15 minutes before, and will still need to wait another 10 minutes once I get there. In fact last time we ordered, they hadn t even started on my wife s drink, even though I placed it 15 minutes prior. And then half the time they don t have one of the ingredients for the drink, but it won t register on the app. So we generally try to avoid this one. I am dumbfounded as to why this place gets 5 stars.

I ve witnessed the store manager parade the employees, disrespect and belittle them. Her name is Kailey. The baristas do the best they can with the little she does to help them. Also they need to schedule more than 4 people to do the work ! I ve seen so many cars and people waiting on coffee because there s only 4 employees. Nothing but lazy teenagers that would rather talk than make your drink. Had to ask them 3 times to remake my drink, still was terrible by the time i got it 20+ minutes later. Extra does not mean 5+ plus pumps of something. Extra is 1 or 2 pumps. They will start on remaking the drink and leave it while they giggle about whatever drama they have going on. UPDATE: Management spoke to me and wanted to apologize! Was so happy with the way they treated me and understood where I was coming from! Updating the review stats because if people will acknowledge that says so much It s so sad for me to have to write this because I love the one I frequent on 10th and Trenton. But this one on university and mccoll is the worst!! Every drink takes at least 30 minutes to get out and it seems like they are never caught up! The only thing I dislike about this location is that the employees put the drinks from mobile orders behind the counter where you can t see them when you walk in. They put a few on the counter where it s visible but most are behind. I just waited for 15 minutes for my drink and apparently was at the counter the whole time. I even went up to the employee to say my name for the order and he said they were working on it. I m not blaming the employee because I understand they are busy during this fall season but I just wish they would change this issue.

People, please consider on moving to the new scooter coffee shop coming, it is across from HEB. This new manager Alyssa, is being rude and accusatory. My family and I reload on a weekly basis, she rather save a correction of a cup of coffee then a loyal customer. This store is filthy, dusty and full of flies. The new employees are cold, dry and not understanding with the exception of John along with the night manager which I dont know his name. Please this is just a coffee shop, which you could get anywhere, but everyone also wants good service. I got a coffee, which had loose coffee grounds, and cold and how is this the customers fault, which we are heading to work and cant wait for another 5 to 10 minutes to brew. I hope they bring another coffeeshop. If the manager Alyssa is rude and not understanding and willing to take care of the customers, can you imagine how she is going to make those employees the same, as rude, not understanding and accusing customers, just like her . I only give it one star because it doesnt give me an option of no stars.

Plus, it was like half melted because it was taking forever to get my drink due to the crazy long drive-through line. I do not like that they still give me a PLASTIC Starbucks cup at the drive through even though I tell them that I have my personal cup. All the Starbucks cups they ve given me still exist and I m trying to be more eco friendly. I know they don t accept Starbucks cups as a personal cup so I take my own glass jar with no logo on it. 3rd time i come and order my drink with extra caramel drizzle and they don t add extra so i pay for nothing! All the other location do add EXTRA unlike this location. Not only that when you mobile order they don t place your drink in the designated area for mobile orders. & they also don t count the pumps they put for the white chocolate mocha they have it in a container and just pour without measuring so if u add extra pumps they wont even give u what u ask for again wasting money. Adding pictures of the location on 10th st where they do give u what u pay for EXTRA caramel drizzle. *06/11/23 yet again this location is prob the worse one they are never consistent with the way they make drinks it will either be too sweet or they forget to put in pumps of whatever the drink needs but it is never made right. The staff needs a cheat sheet for how the drinks are made. Also went today and this might be like the 4th time that they do not fill the cup to the top. This Starbucks ONLY takes orders through drive through. They should have a couple of people for the customers INSIDE. All the orders coming in through drive through were being taken and given to customers. INSIDE is another thing. So if you decide to go to this one, DO NOT GO INSIDE. They need someone to manage these workers on taking and giving orders inside. Everyone waiting for their orders inside and I kept seeing cars coming and going with their orders. I had to cancel my order. And yes I know I could have ordered online, but I ve gotten down at other locations and I get my order fast. Very disappointing.

This Starbucks location is constantly disappointing however, I always assume the next visit will be better, until this morning. I mobile ordered my cold brew, arrive to the location and still wait a while just to be told they re out of cold brew. I request a refund and all of a sudden the barista says they have cold brew and it should be out in about 2 minutes. After what was more than 2 minutes I finally get my coffee and it was awful. I questioned whether or not it was even cold brew or what it was because it was really milky. Although this location is closest to me, I will probably make the drive out to the Trenton location as they are seemingly busier, but rarely do they ever run out of ingredients and are so quick to get their orders out.

I normally would give this a 5 star as the Caramel Cloud Macchiato was awesome. But today I went by the drive through, and Ive been coming to this place for a while now. When I ordered my usual, the person on the intercom stated that that they dont serve that drink, and that it may have been on the menu a few years ago. After probing further, she then stated that this Starbucks is a new store and dont serve it. Even after I told her that Ive been coming to this store many times with no issues ordering my cloud macchiato. I mean if she didnt know how to make it, fine I can tolerate that especially if shes new and all. However the attitude she gave is was that of a person who didnt want to be bothered. I decided not to order anything and to just leave, but as I was driving past the window, that same girl was giving me a real angry look. Never had a hostel experience at a Starbucks. Spoke the manager and he confirmed that the drink was discontinued however some barristas would make it either way, however, he did apologize for the rude behavior.

I bought 3 cold coffees, the cashier was accompanied by the girl who trains staff. The cashier wants to tell me that they dont have foam for the cold coffee and the teacher interrupts her. I pay for the coffees, I wait for my purchase thinking that they will have foam for the cold coffee since they continue to sell the product to you as if the purchase were complete. Seriously, a lot of people come here who could never make the coffee they order but seem to treat the baristas like they re less valuable than the coffee they re making. YET the workers here take every insult and cutting remark in stride, these are some of the best people I ve ever ordered coffee from. :) keep it up guys, your customers and Karens are better than reality tv shows.

I hate this Starbucks location. It s the closest one to me. Every time I go they re always out of something. Today they were not serving matcha, and pinks drinks among other drinks. Last week they were out of cold brew. It s ridiculous that I have to go out of my way to another location just because they are not ordering supplies they need ahead of time.

Disappointed I always order a cold nitro brew and I am aware it only comes in a grande very well aware but I always order it in a venti cup with extra ice at all the Starbucks I go to the one on nolana and mccoll, on trenton even when we go to San Antonio . As well on the app. The cashier did not want to give me my order the way I wanted and I told him I was aware on how it comes he kept saying he couldn t give me my order the one I wanted. WOW. I let him know no one has told me that he said he understood but he couldn t give me my order.

John has always been a good employee. I have seen where he has gone above and beyond for the customers. There was an incident where there was a rude customer with a female employee, the female employee wasnt able to hear the customer because the customer wouldnt speak up when employee asked and even apologized for not hearing her. The customer was just being rude, and hateful. John just stepped in and took care of the situation and was able to handle the rude customer. He was very professional and nice with the rude customer. I believe John has all the qualities and skills to be a manager at this store or a team leader. I usually come often and see his work ethics . His an amazing employee and individual. Good job John...

Este Starbucks es una ubicacion muy popular si tienen prisa esta ubicacion no es para ustedes. Popular Starbucks location, close to the University and surrounding schools. If you are in a rush this is not the store for you unless you do order ahead with 20 minutes in advance during rush hours. The store gets hits pretty heavily morning, noon and afterschool. During regular semester (university) the location is usually packed with students completing homework, studying or hanging out. Personal experience I have placed order ahead with 15 minutes, and still had to wait for my order. This is the only Starbucks in this area and honestly the staff is wonderful and patient with irate customers, who demand their order a minute after the order was placed. If you are a local you know this store is always busy and unless you want to drive to Mcallen or Trenton location, please be kind to the staff they are trying their best. Starbucks company really needs to re-evaluate this location as there is not enough staff to handle the morning and afternoon rush. Supplies are almost always running low due to the huge demand of the products. In my opinion the staff is placed under a tremendous pressure during rush hours.

I use this location often since my work is near here. These days, I am disappointed their service. I dont usually write reviews but they should fix this, thats why I am writing... 1. In most time, they short supplies, dont have menu items compare to other locations. 2. I know that they are busy in the morning time, but they are extremely slow compare to other stores. A couple of times, I waited more than 20 min for one Americano. 3. I always add shots to my coffee, but they never added shots (I paid more for the additional shots). This is usually discovered after I left the shop from a long drive thru line. For these reasons, I avoid to go this location these days, but I stopped by this morning and again, my coffee tastes like milk, not coffee even though I ordered with extra shots.

Ordered just a regular medium size coffee with cream and sugar. Paid and waited for more than necessary. Had to remind. Despite asking several questions about how I liked coffee and almost forgetting to serve the same, the end result was less than satisfactory. Sugar missing. I rather fix my own coffee elsewhere where they dont ask too many questions and mess up after all that. Music too loud. Internet was good.

Very nice baristas w good customer service. But every time I visit this particular location my fraps always taste more like milk than the actual flavor. I normally visit 10th & Trenton always on point. And the only reason I no longer visit this location is because of that. Dont matter what flavor of frappe it is, its like their measuring is limited & tastes more like the milky flavor or whip cream than the actual flavor i order. EVERY SINGLE TIME!!! I ordered Venti Caramel Ribbon Crunch today and sure enough aside from the no crunch which i dnt really care for but omg tastes just like milk than the actual caramel (theres a hint of it). And i do not like milk taste! So waste of money for me AGAIN for today.

Ok so decided to try this location and to my surprise...it was a mess. Storefront is dirty. Tables as well and inside dining area is full of knats and flies. Not to mention on the food. I cant believe no one even stops to look and see the dismeasures.

Meet up with some friends for coffee and breakfast. Id forgotten how really nice today was and plan to do it more. The workers were all really cheerful at that beastly early hour! ______ They easily get swamped during peak periods, but thats the price you pay for being popular! Everybody is very friendly and helpful. I am sorry, however, that they no longer carry the grilled cheese . Theres only one other lunch sandwich I can eat - the mozzarella tomato panini - and I dont really like it.
