This restaurant is truly amazing and my absolute favorite place to enjoy Italian cuisine. I have been countless times since they opened YEARS ago. The restaurant is a fairly smaller place, but somehow it never feels too crowded even with every seat full. Every staff member I have ever encountered has been consistently fabulous over the years. As for the food, please understand that describing everything Ive eaten from there as amazing, delectable, and insanely delicious, would be a wild understatement. If you havent eaten here yet, youre missing out!

Ordered 2 large pizzas one pepperoni the other a veggie and an order of wings. Pepperoni pizza was average at best. The veggie pizza was disgusting. All the vegetables tasted old and soggy. The wings were severely overcooked and dry. The service at the front counter was well below average. I would highly recommend new staff with better customer service Would not recommend this place to anyone.

Came in sat and waited about 10min with no menu no one ever acknowledged us. I understand servers could be busy, but the least they could do is acknowledge a customer with a Hi give a moment or something. A table came in a minute or so after us and they got menus and one of the servers was already at their table getting their order. Been here before, but we never plan on coming back.

I loved the bread and oil dip. I had the porcini ravioli but I subbed the menu sauce for alfredo. It was good but nothing special and their alfredo has too much garlic flavor for my taste. I will come back though to try their pizza and gelato. Trip 2: the bianco pizza was fantastic. I added mushrooms, spinach and bacon. Perfectly cooked. Highly recommend. Excited about the leftovers

Calamari sucked the portobello fries were great the service sucked. So now after apology I notice that theres rave reviews the absolutely horrible experience. Weve been meaning to try this place. We finally took a date day and went. We dont go out much as my wife is wheelchair bound. After the hype we heard about this place and as a FOODIE who enjoys a good meal. To say we were disappointed is an understatement. To start we got the bruschetta app and a cheese pizza..the bread for the dish was so thick made it hard to eat, the bruschetta was dry and lacked flavor, the pizza..wow the sauce. they have cans stacked in hallway that say pizza sauce...dough chalky, cheese decent..but the sauce ...such a let down. My wife ordered the chicken parm, I had the stuffed pork chop, I asked if I could get it without cheese, no because its pre-made. Dishes come out..cheese on chicken parm...no color..barley melted, chicken dark, over cooked, my chop was covered with CANNED MUSHROOMS not fresh..it is a pizza place do they put canned on the pizza? ...artichokes with what tasted to be the same as the pizza sauce..the veggies .not cut in-house.. Italian restaurant you would think Italian music..nope..asked if it could be changed..we were the only table in the place. Nope. So disheartening..We love good food. Was really looking forward to trying this place as it came HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. NOPE! 100$ with tip... never again.

Food was below the expectation, had to send back my chicken Gio because the chicken was over cooked and then retired the chicken which chicken was over cooked again and they put the same Alfredo from my other plate back on the new one and heated it up. Service from Lyndsie was ok when she was around and not smoking out back of the restaurant. She smelled of cigarettes bad and when service picked up she smelled bad of perfume. This place has great potential but missing cause of management.

My daughter and I were starving, and I was craving pizza. Its been a while since Ive been to Gios. The last time I ordered Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo, and it was excellent. Ive never had the pizza here. I ordered the pepperoni and my daughter the cheese. The waiter was very attentive and got our bread and oil out quick. Thankfully, because my stomach was empty. We ordered our pizza and it was out in less than 10 minutes. Pretty good for hand tossed pizza. It was excellent. The sauce was amazing, as was the cheese and pepperoni. So very happy we stopped in. We were very pleased. My only complaint, and its not a deal breaker, but I would have loved to hear some great Italian music as we ate. No issue though. Parking: Parking spots are kinda tight, so the big trucks and duallies might have an issue.

The pizza is so good that the next-door neighbor took advantage of the illiterate delivery driver and signed for my pizza. If only they still taught numbers in school, I would not be hungry right now. Bless her heart, I will never order a delivery from this place again...or talk to my neighbor. I cant blame them, though. The pizza is good, even if they stole it (they know my name and its on the receipt) I blame the incompetent driver who ignored the neighbors statement, I didnt order it, but Ill take it, and forged the credit card receipt (no tip). I also blame the manager (Eric), who didnt confirm the information with the driver before she left or after she returned, to see if everything went well... especially after her strange encounter. This is not the first issue Ive had with this restaurant, but it is the last (sorry, John - you and the pizza are nice). But if I cant count on a restaurant to do what they advertise, I wont count on them to deliver (pun intended).

I had the special, chicken, mushrooms and green bell pepper over angel hair pasta. They switched the creme sauce to olive oil and garlic for me. This was terrific and not salty one bit. We had a terrific waiter, Cookie,that handled our 16 group very well. This was my first time there and I look forward to coming back. We have an exchange student from Italy, so we brought him here to see how it compares. He said it was good, but not authentic. I think that should be considered a compliment! We would probably get that same response wherever we go for Italian food in the area. My shrimp Alfredo was pretty good, but needed a touch more sauce. Food was all good otherwise. The service here is top notch with a special shout out to Kookie, who will definitely serve you well to request if you want fantastic service and bonus smiles on your faces. It was amazing!!! You can tell the workers there are like family they keep you laughing and make sure you re taking care of !!! Kookie and Lyndsie honestly make us fill at home when we go !! Favorite spot in town !

Im horrible with names, but my waitress is awesome! I go to Gios for lunch about twice a month for lunch and when I sit down my sweet tea with no lemon is there waiting on me. Even on a busy Sunday when Im there with family theyre are on top of everything. Delicious food, and great service, and good price! Thanks for making Gios my go to Italian restaurant!

First of all I have to say, The waitress Lyndsie is amazing! You can tell she knows what she is doing and the best part is she knows the food!! She is sweet and helpful any time I go in there. Gio s is a great place all the way around!!! Kid-friendliness: The pizza dough is always a hit!! My kids look forward to that part EVERY TIME

Lemme start by saying I haven t eaten there in a while, and I m well overdue. Ricky dodged cars on 517 like the old frogger game, to save a kitten from a burning building across the street. I thanked him for his service and he said it was just honest work. Will definitely be checking out his section at Gios soon.
