The Milestone in Boerne is absolutely beautiful! Abigail took us on our tour through the venue, she was informative and had just an all around positive attitude. She answered every question and eased every concern we had! The fact that she could do that and never made us feel bad about looking at all options for a venue was ultimately what had us commit our wedding day to The Milestone in Boerne!! (well that and the pricing is actually pretty great and the View?! come on! its just beautiful there!!) We cant wait for our big day in Jan of 2026! All because Abigail is just an amazing person and just awesome to work with!

I had the most incredible experience touring The Chapel at Riverwalk with Christine from Walters Wedding Estates! From the moment my sister, my niece, and nephew, and I arrived, Christine made us feel so welcomed. She was not only patient with the little ones but also took the time to really understand my vision for our big day. She even acknowledged the details of my mood board, which meant so much to me! Christine walked us through all of the venues gorgeous features and explained the various packages in detail, helping me find the perfect fit for the occasion. I just booked my wedding at the Artistide Mckinney wedding venue and I couldnt be more excited! After touring 2 other locations, as soon as I walked in I knew my search was over. Laura who conducted the tour and explained everything to me was so sweet, accommodating and knowledgeable. I had tons of questions and she took her time explaining. What set them apart from the others is their vendor package. While I love planning events, a wedding is in a different realm and I do not want to be stressed about choosing vendors and risking not having the services I expect or visualize. Im looking forward to planning the different elements of my wedding with their preferred vendors and staff. So far, 5 out of 5 and I recommend booking a tour if you are planning your wedding.

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. Wedding planner had an attitude, lacked basic info and guidance. All staff had poor organisational skills. Day of wedding planner was very junior and poor at organising guests. Keith & Sarah Walters (owners) remained silent and non responsive throughout despite multiple attempts to contact. Very stressful and frustrating experience. We felt once WALTERS had our money, service went downhill with us having to do the chasing up and with lots of promises unfulfilled and being left in the dark on many issues that never got resolved. 1/10.

We did it yall! We finally have a venue! Venue: Chapel at Palacios Wedding Date: Nov 2025 I have to start this review with expressing my gratitude to Jasmine W. Jasmine is very attentive, transparent, and personable. I am totally the A-Type personality with a thousand questions and points of clarification. She never once seemed annoyed by all my questions and was able to address all in a timely fashion. She really took the time to listen to our vision and help us navigate this crazy wedding world. (AKA helped reel me in a couple of things :) We are beyond pleased with the level of detail and care she has handled us in and I highly recommend requesting her if you are considering booking a Walters Property. I will certainly update my review after the wedding to keep you all posted and this review as accurate as possible but so far so good!

Hi! The Chapel at Ana Vila looked so amazing up in person, while Christine was showing us around the place. She made it fun and informative while we were there, didnt feel rush through the tour and made it feel so welcoming. My fiancé and I also brought two of our Wedding Party members to join us and they even enjoyed their time as well. We had an awesome time and the venue made it easy for us to imagine our wedding there. False representation of wedding planner from the sales representative. I would suggest thoroughly asking questions before signing the contract for any of their venues. I recommend getting an outside wedding coordinator as I was informed their assigned coordinator is only there to supervise. I was lucky to have been assigned someone who lived up to the role of a wedding coordinator and worked well with my second coordinator. WWE s planners and coordinators don t appear to discuss about the wedding plans prior to planner hands it over. Lastly, Emily Chappell production..I thoroughly enjoyed my photographer Olivia at the wedding and thought she did an amazing job, but 25% of my wedding pictures were lost due to poor upkeep from the photographer s end. Majority of the family portraits and cake cutting photo- nonexistent. Yes, I was refunded a portion, but it s still very disappointing to find out after waiting 2- 3 months for wedding photos.

DO NOT WORK WITH WALTERS. Our experience with Olana and the Walters Wedding Estates organization as a whole has been completely predatory. They said insurance would cover anything that came up, and would help us out with the date if it didn t work. Immediately after we signed, we asked our family if the date worked, and turns out half our family couldn t make it. In addition, we found out the the bride s brother having a baby the weekend of the wedding and the groom s grandfather passing away. They completely and utterly did not care. We filed a claim with insurance, and they didn t cover it (which the salesperson promised it would, but come to find out after signing, Walter s wedding coordinator who was different from the sales person said that they have never seen anything payout for insurance, including people dying of cancer). Instead, they offered to move the date up to August in the middle of Texas 100-degree heat, but refused to move it back to make good on the promise we had from the salesperson. Know why? Because they d lose potential cash from the future date. Walters upper management simply said, Sorry, you signed a contract, and we can t help you. They said that if we move the date, it s technically a cancellation, and we have to pay 75%+ of the contract price ($30K!), PLUS however much it is to rebook with them. All they had to do was tell us upfront that they wouldn t work with us on the date, and we could have asked our family if they could come. Instead, they strung us along with false promises and left us trapped. The management s entire approach has been to hide behind the contract and say, Sorry, you signed it. There was no willingness to help, no understanding, just a complete disregard for us as clients. We re now in arbitration to get out of the contract because of the blatant misrepresentations they made during the sales process. From day one, they assured us flexibility and coverage through the insurance we purchased, but when real-life events impacted our plans, they left us out to dry. The communication has been abysmal. They are severely understaffed, and we couldn t get ahold of anyone for weeks at a time. They only respond on Mondays and Tuesdays Wednesday through Sunday, you re completely out of luck, because they re doing other weddings. It took forever to get basic answers, and by the time they finally did respond, it was too late to do anything. What s worse, we ve since learned that other couples have had similar experiences. One of our cousins dealt with Walters too and had to DIY most of their wedding while still paying $40K for a supposed all-inclusive package. Like us, they were hit with hidden costs that inflated the budget far beyond what was initially agreed upon. Speaking of hidden costs, the all-inclusive package they offer is a joke. The credits they provide barely cover anything, leaving us responsible for an additional $20K in expenses we didn t plan for. We signed for $40K, but it was actually going to be $60K. For example, for stationary, we received a $750 credit. We thought it would be more than enough to do all signage and everything we would need for invitations, save the dates, all of it. The reality is, that only covers 150 invitations and nothing else (they charge $5-$7 per invitation!). If we had known the true cost from the start, we would have walked away. We visited other venues after this disaster, and the difference was shocking. The other venues were transparent, responsive, and genuinely cared about their clients and staff. Olana and Walters Wedding Estates couldn t be further from that. If you re considering Olana or any Walters venue, don t. They ve been predatory, unresponsive, and impossible to work with. Save yourself the trouble, lawsuits, lack of communication and care, and choose a venue that actually values their clients.

She adjusted our proposal probably 40 times and answered every single one of our questions with so much detail. We ve been communicating with her at all hours of the day due to our busy schedules and she has responded within 5 minutes every time, no matter the time of day. So many people have talked about the nightmares of wedding planning. From terrible vendor communication to disinterested site hosts. That however, was not my experience with Walters Wedding Estates. My Fiance and I showed up at Chapels at Palacios and met with Jasmine to do our guided tour. She was an absolute blessing. Extremely knowledgable about several of the Walters properties and very willing to listen to the details we had planned for our wedding. She took the time to give us tours at two Walters Wedding venues in one day: Morgan Creek Barn in Dripping Springs and The Terrace at Highland Lake in Lago Vista. At this point, our first impressions have been very disappointing. Communication with Jourdan has been a frustrating experience. We re trying to book over a year in advance, but she s unwilling to work with us, citing a lack of control. While I understand her position, it s disheartening when we are willing to pay for the services we need. The issue is that we ve already arranged food and beverage services at another venue for after the ceremony. I m not looking for a bargain or trying to cut corners I m fully prepared to pay full price for what we require. However, I don t want to pay for services that aren t necessary. I m sure the venue is beautiful and would have provided a great experience, but it seems we may have to take our business elsewhere because we re being pressured to purchase things we don t need. We had a great time touring multiple venues owned by Walters Wedding Estates in Houston, and we wouldn t have been able to do it without our fantastic wedding specialist, Emarie. She was extremely welcoming and ready to answer every question we had while we toured (and we had a lot!). Eventually, she even told us about a new property being developed in Houston and offered to meet us there to see the construction site and the already built lodging nearby that would be available for guests. Once we saw the renderings and the site in person, we knew it was the one! Emarie was extremely knowledgeable and transparent through the entire process of discussing wedding packages, outside vendors, and more, and we may not have had the confidence to book a pre-construction venue had she not been so prepared to answer every question we had about it. Overall, we had a great experience here selecting a venue for our wedding, and would recommend it to anyone! We toured Hidden Pines in Hurst on Sunday morning with Sarah Lawson and immediately fell in love! The venue is absolutely gorgeous from start to end. It s very convenient having the ceremony, courtyard/cocktail hour, and reception all within close proximity for us and our guests! We just booked our wedding there for December and given we live in Texas and its ever changing weather, it s also nice not having to worry about potential bad weather since the ceremony and reception are both indoor! Sarah Lawson was fantastic and answered all of our questions. Her bubbly energy was contagious and got us even more excited to book the venue for our big day! We had 4 tours total with Pricilla Yang from the Walter s estate, 3 in person and 1 self guided and we loved every second of it with her. She was so welcoming and knowledgeable. She went through the walk plan with us and showed us all the perks between all the different venues we looked at together. She was not pushy in the slightest and was always there to answer any questions I had. We ended up booking with Olana and so far so good. We also attended the menu tasting event and were blown away by the Chilean sea bass they had. Full transparency, at the beginning I did have an almost fumble of finding our dream venue .. I was getting the wrong requested information and details but I decided to call myself and left a message, and I m so glad I did! Then from the moment I spoke to Megan on the phone I had that instant comfortable feeling. From her joyful tone, sincerity and capability to sort out the missed details I knew she was the right fit to help us take a tour and closer look at Aristide Colleyville! She was extremely responsive from the minute we inquired about the venue and kept in touch via email and text message throughout the entire process. We sat down with her at Morgan Creek Barn (Dripping Springs, TX) and talked everything out after getting a thorough tour of the venue. Just about as soon as we met our wedding specialist Megan Simms we knew that she would work with us making sure we got exactly the wedding me and my fiancé were envisioning. We first toured the Aristide in Colleyville and though she did a great job showing the venue to us and explaining everything thoroughly, the venue itself wasn t exactly what we were looking for. Even so, Megan stuck with us and took us to tour the Chapel at Palacios in Westlake and it was perfect. She is extremely personable, helpful, and reliable. When we had a question she knew the answer and if she didn t she made sure to find out and let us know as soon as possible, even working out of usual office hours! We recently contacted Walters Wedding estate to inquire about a venue we had found. After a bit of procrastination my fiance and I realized we needed to get on top of our wedding planning as venues tend to book up fast. So, we did some Google searching and came across Chapel at Riverwalk. I sent a request to view and got a response sooner than we expected. Sarah Lawson was our wedding specialist. She got us an appointment to view the venue basically the next day. She was so warm and friendly (despite us being a little late to our appointment, my fiancés fault, of course). She showed us around and gave us the grand tour. Answering any questions we had and really allowing us to take the time to look over every area. She provided some insights on some wedding experiences she had witnessed at that location. We sat down and discusses packages and she was very clear with how things would work and explaining the material. We mentioned our budget and some of our concerns about pricing which she immediately threw in some alternative locations which we could look at. She set us up to look at another venue the very next day, and didnt make us feel pressured to make a choice. It was very informational and letting us know all the options we had available to us booking through Walters. While at the second venue we had some reservations and she provided us with yet another venue to view. After viewing that one, along with several other venues Sarah gave us some time to think without any added pressure. When we came to a decision she was right there to make all the adjustments we wanted to make us comfortable with our decision. A consumate professional, Sarah was so informative and such a pleasure to work with. She made us at ease with her knowledge of all the locations and her willingness to work/talk through our thoughts on everything. This experience made it simple and helped make us even more excited for our big day. Were looking forward to having our wedding at such a beautiful location. I was completely blown away by Iron Manor! This was a venue I loved online but almost didn t come tour due to it being outside of Houston my original preferred location.
