My husband and I fell in love with this venue at first sight! It is difficult to find a venue that is not rustic in Texas, so when we found a place that felt modern yet homey we knew that Monroe Pearson was the venue for us. However, what we loved even more than the venue was working with Kayleigh. She was a bright spot during such a stressful time of day to day wedding planning. Her attention to detail, patience, kindness, and making us feel like we were a priority. She was especially good at understanding our vision for the wedding, and carrying it out exactly as we planned it. We recently celebrated our wedding at Monroe Pearson, and it was an unforgettable experience! From start to finish, everything was exceptional. The food was delicious, and the staff was incredibly attentive to all our guests needs. The security team was also very helpful, answering any questions our guests had with a smile. The bartenders were fantastic, providing excellent service and keeping our family and friends well taken care of throughout the night. However, the true star of the show was our wedding planner, Melissa. Melissa went above and beyond in every possible way. She took the time to understand our vision and brought it to life beautifully. Her dedication and attention to detail were unmatched. She made sure every aspect of our day was perfect, accommodating all our requests and ensuring everything ran smoothly. Melissa truly made the day as stress-free as possible, allowing us to fully enjoy our special moment. Our family and guests could not stop raving about Melissa. She received endless compliments and praise for her professionalism, warmth, and ability to make everyone feel comfortable. We believe she deserves all the recognition for making our wedding day at Monroe Pearson truly amazing. I say enough about the Monroe Pearson. We had multiple meetings with the staff and they executed everything that we talked about with perfection. The staff was professional and hard-working. The food was delicious! I am a type A person that cares a tremendous amount about details and so do they! In fact, at the last minute the coordinator that we had worked with and loved became very ill. They had someone ready to step in and execute every detail we had talked about in a moments notice. Both Kaleigh and Melissa were a dream to work with. The venue itself is warm, inviting and so comfortable for wedding guests. It was a 10 out 10 for us!!!

What a beautiful venue! Not only is this venue the perfect industrial look but theres so much history. What really got us though is the staff. Calla was so amazing! She gave us so much great information and was so patient with all of our many questions. She gave me so much confidence that the staff here really have everything covered. My wife and I recently had our wedding here and we can t imagine having a better experience literally anywhere else. It was perfect! The staff was so kind and helpful all the way through. For anyone considering this venue for their wedding, book it! We shopped around all throughout DFW and we could not find anything that even came close to the value this venue provides with what s included in the booking. We got the space, food, bar, DJ, day of coordinator, and more for roughly the cost of what other venues were charging for the space alone. If we got married 100 times we would do it here 100 times. Having our wedding at Monroe Pearson was everything we could have imagined! The venue itself is beautiful and beyond unique! We loved its location and everything it had to offer! The venue was the perfect, gorgeous industrial look we didn t know we wanted for our wedding! But really, it was our wedding coordinator, Morgan, who really made this a 5 star review. She was quick to respond to my millions of questions, kept on top of the vendors, and made sure our day ran smoothly. We had such an incredible day and it really couldn t have been better. Working with Madison as my wedding planner at the Monroe Pearson was an absolute dream come true! She was always available to answer any questions, to meet at the venue when I needed to and went above and beyond to make our special day totally unforgettable. From the first time I met her to the day of the wedding, every detail was covered and made the entire wedding planning experience incredible. Madison s detail-oriented and confident approach to wedding planning was exactly what I was looking for. She took every detail I gave her and assured me it was or would be taken care of. Her attention to detail and ability to help turn our vision into a reality was truly impressive, all while calming any nerves or stress I had. The day of the wedding was seamless thanks to Madison s hard work and dedication. We were able to relax and enjoy every moment knowing that everything was taken care of. Walking into the space and seeing how everything came together left me speechless. But, Madison also went above and beyond the role of a traditional wedding planner. She quickly became a friend that I knew I could count on. She even helped get my bouquet pin ready with the pictures of my grandparents because I ran out of time and was heartbroken it wouldn t be done - she immediately took it off my hands and got it done because she knew how important it was to me. She also jumped in and helped with our kiddos throughout the night who had grown to know and love her throughout the months of planning and meetings, giving them extra snuggles before we made our exit, and just made sure that everyone had the best time possible. Neither of these things is part of her job and are just a couple of examples of a very long list of things she did to make our experience personal and perfect. It s no surprise though, as this isn t just a job to her. She is passionate about creating your perfect day, whatever that looks like. She truly wants your day to be special and to be without stress as much as possible. She constantly went the extra mile throughout the entire process and there are truly not enough good words to say about her. Madison is a one-of-a-kind planner and a genuinely good person with an absolute heart of gold. The venue and vendors were amazing and perfect and was everything I had ever dreamed of, but without Madison, it wouldn t have been what it was. The experience she provides is hands down what makes this venue a 10/10. We wholeheartedly and highly recommend Madison with Monroe Pearson to anyone looking to create unforgettable memories that will last beyond their lifetime. Such a lovely space with the vintage vibe I was hoping for our wedding last week. And the Walters Weddings Estates staff is so helpful and supportive. I was having a hard time imagining so many things, Madison Shields put my mind at ease every step of the way. She made wonderful suggestions and truly made our day memorable. And I REALLY appreciated not having to navigate so many vendors individually. I wanted a 1 stop shop for everything, Walters Wedding Estates delivered. And if there was an issue with something, Madison was an amazing liaison to get it handled. Cant wait to share the professional portraits the photographer took!

This place was AMAZING! I got married here on 5/28/2023 and it was the most amazing day. The venue is so unique and beautiful. It was so special to have it in Denton where we grew up & went to college. Walters Wedding Estates as a company was phenomenal.... if you go with their packages, there is NO stress at all! You just get to pick out all of the fun stuff (what you want for dinner, cake flavor, flowers, etc and add your personal touches!). I have to give my first shout out to Melissa. She was my day of coordinator and let me tell you...this girl made my wedding day the most perfect, smooth, stress free day I could have ever imagined. My husband and I were both so fortunate to have her with us. Even my guests made comments, who is she? She does everything! Its amazing!... She coordinated our timeline, helped us with whatever we needed, helped the photographer gather people for the family formals, bustled my dress, and even was running meals during dinner. If I needed ANYTHING at all, she was right there making me feel like an absolute queen! She even let me know when I had something in my teeth... LOL! (I really appreciated it cause I would have been so sad to see that in all my pics!) Honestly, I dont think my wedding day would have been the same without her. She was a God send. Everyone else I came in to contact with at Walters and Monroe Pearson was amazing. Everyone was so sweet and happy. The vendors that were a part of our package were all phenomenal. We had DJ Carson with CoHost, Officiant Kyle with CoHost, Jenny Layne Bakery, ECP Photography, Lyons Paperie, and Design Haus for Florals and all of them were such a pleasure to work with. If you are planning your wedding, I would highly recommend Walters Wedding Estates. I can not say enough wonderful things about Walters Wedding Estates, especially Monroe Pearson. It was the most beautiful venue for our special day and most importantly the staff made sure everything was perfect for us and they truly went above and beyond. Thank you to Amanda for helping me plan my dream wedding (in THREE months!!!) and being the sweetest human being. She made sure she was a part of our special day until the very last moment and even signed up to serve that night .and I m so thankful I got to experience all of that with her. Nothing to get hyped about. Its a decent size building with a split floor plan thats basically just clean brick walls one side has windows the other doesnt. Nothing bad just not much great about it either EXCEPT yhe event we attended had Free Valet parking. Dont know if the event host paid for that or the Building Managent though.

The team at Walters Wedding Estates (Monroe Pearson) are seriously incredible and wonderful humans to work with. As a bride, there s a lot of details to plan and factors to consider but I can honestly say that this team helped to alleviate the majority of my stress. People would always ask me, oh how is wedding planning going? and every time I could honestly say, it s really kinda easy! The venue staff is amazing and it s full service so no hunting for vendors! Amanda was my planning rep and deserves every award, raise, promotion, whatever her heart desires. I had a handful of things go wrong, outside photographer, change from church wedding to not, and every time I sent Amanda a panicked email she would response quickly, calm me down, and assure me that they could accommodate any change. She even set me up with the amazing photographer we used for our day! (Shoutout Emily Chappell). I seriously could not have planned such a perfect day without these people. The venue itself is gorgeous of course. Exposed brick and lofted ceilings. comfy seating in the foyer. The ceremony room has excellent acoustics. The bridal suite is large and beautiful. I had 10 bridesmaids and we had plenty of space. Amanda H. was our planning representative and she s so nice. Very easy to talk to. I felt like I could be honest about everything I wanted and she gave great suggestions. Laeticia was our day of coordinator. We had hired our own outside coordinators but Laeticia was still so helpful. She checked on us throughout the day and lead us and our bridal party through our reception entrance. Food was so good!!! We used their in house DJ Nolan and he was so nice and super helpful/accommodating through the planning process. We used their recommended photography company Epic Productions. Justin is AMAZING. Such a fun person and takes beautiful photos. 10/10 would recommend Monroe Pearson to any bride. I am a very satisfied bride!

I walked in and instantly knew this venue was perfect for us. The historic building and the beautiful classic touches sold me! The planning process was truly painless, all the in house vendors were so prompt and communicated so well. Our planning rep, Amanda was kind and responsive to our last minute changes. I felt so taken care of. Once we arrived for wedding week I was truly blown away. They were so accommodating and attentive. Geoffrey made sure the plans were communicated to the team and Laeticia executed those plans perfectly. I was highly impressed, even when I changed my mind multiple times she was just so sweet and understanding. Was promised about so many things. The bride room had no tissue and had leaky soap on the counter that ruined the mom of the grooms dress for the evening and photos . They threw away my daughters wedding cake and also catered food. Beautiful? Yes managed well no! Little attention to detail would make it better. They will force you to sign an oppressive contract, tack on unnecessary fees, and will drag their feet on any sort of changes your request. We had to reschedule our wedding due to the COVID-19 outbreak but they refused to let us pick a different date. Also actively promoting misinformation about the safety of our guests during this pandemic. BEWARE - these guys are only out for their own financial gain and prey on couples who arent aware of how exploitative the wedding industry is. At least the manager was nice and the venue is beautiful. Edit/Response: Hate to say I told you so but the current resurgence is exactly the reason why we wanted to cancel or postpone (which the venue did NOT allow). We were dated for mid-July and this past week was back-to-back record breaking new cases. Their policies ONLY care about getting your money - NOT about caring for the customers and their guests.

We got married here and while we all had an amazing time, the whole experience of working with Walters Wedding Estates left me very under impressed. Our person was very inexperienced and timid and there were errors in every contract version we were given- which we caught and corrected. Deadlines werent communicated well, leading to some major disappointments and you really get the feeling that you are just a number with them. We loved our wedding, but in retrospect, I wish wed chosen a different venue and company. You have to spend LOTS of money to make the space look inviting, and the acoustics are not great. There was a storm during our wedding and the roof leaked ( they did refund some money for that, which was the right thing to do.) If you are having a huge amount of guests and you dont care about small touches or acoustics, you might like this place. Edited to respond to the owners response: I am not surprised you cant locate my name in your records given the lack of attention to detail with regards to contracts. I assure you, you have my name. I do find it offensive though that you would try to discredit my review by saying we dont know you. It speaks volumes about your business practices.

Monroe Pearson was the most idyllic location for our wedding. The staff was so incredibly helpful and kind. If you are looking for a venue that has it all - look no further. We loved that it was down the street from the square which is where we went on one of our first dates. Its really in a central location to anywhere you could possibly want to go in Denton. The venue lends itself to not needing to add a whole bunch of fluff decoration. The venue and decor they have is already so picturesque and beautiful. If we had to do it all over again we would still pick Monroe Pearson, without a doubt.

My husband and I recently got married here and we had a great experience to say the very least. From the beginning, we were treated with utmost respect. Everyone we worked with was extremely professional and worked well with us when we had questions and concerns. We were clearly valued as customers and the staff was flexible and accommodating as we prepped and decorated even months before the wedding. The venue is uniquely breathtaking and it was exactly what we were envisioning. Pricing is certainly reasonable. Thank you all so much for helping to make our day so special!

Its clean and cool looking but the lack of textiles and fabric make the acoustics absolutely terrible. Painfully loud echos in both the chapel area and reception area made it impossible for us to have a conversation or enjoy the live music.

The venue is gorgeous! I attended a wedding there once recently and the building itself is beautiful with the brick walls and big glass windows in the reception area. I also really enjoyed the Edison light-bulbs that used all throughout the building. Great venue!

Attended a wedding for the daughter of my wifes best friend. The venue had rustic elements and decorations. The entrance was large and open. The wedding hall had a pronounced echo making it difficult to hear. Large area for a medium to large wedding. Reception area was also large. It had a bar and a great bartender. The Sherrifs deputy was a funny surprise, but I get it. All in all it is a very good place for a wedding or gathering.

WOW! We recently had our wedding here, and it was perfect! Everyone loved Kalyn and thought the wedding went off without a hitch! She handled everything to the last detail and made it so I could be Bride-chilla the day of. If anyone ever asks me where I think they should get married, Monroe Pearson will be my answer!
