Hands down my favorite restaurant in Denton! My fiancé and I come here just just every week because you can t do better in Denton. Recommend the herbal chicken fried rice, very generous portions for the price. All the servers are exceptionally kind, and have the best customer service. Particularly Hannah, but every server I ve had has been a delight. Go down and enjoy some Thai Tea!

I recently dined at Thai Ocha and was quite disappointed. The basil fried rice I ordered had no basil in it, which was surprising and very disappointing. The overall quality of the food was poor everything lacked freshness and flavor. For the prices they charge, I expected a much better experience. I hope they take this feedback seriously and make the necessary improvements to both their food and service.

5 stars mainly for the food. It s excellent. Wonton soup is the best I ve ever had. My go to is the combination fried rice. We had the shrimp with peanut sauce- sweet & sour chicken. Fried wontons for appetizer. All great! Staff is always very friendly but usually have to wait for your food. But worth the wait. Dining area small & busy with to go orders. Little pricy.

Such a cozy place to find delicious Thai food! The fresh shrimp rolls and broccoli plate were amazing. The presentation was also beautiful. They have a good measure of their heat levels too! Vegetarian options: Many vegetarian options as nearly everything comes with a choice of protein, so you can exclude the protein or opt for tofu. Unfortunately there was an ordering issue with a newer employee when I placed my order causing me to receive no salmon with my salmon panang. Turns out he didn t ring up the salmon but they still happily remade my food 10 minutes before closing. Initially I was a little upset as I thought I did order clearly and I do apologize for the steam at first but I am extremely grateful at how the owner handled me(an upset customer) and the situation. Great food as well and great customer service is why I will continue to patronize this establishment! Thanks again!

Definitely check this place out if you re in Denton it s a great hole in the wall Thai food place. Food was delicious and savory all the spices and flavors came together nicely. It was understaffed during the rush time when my friend and I sat down to eat, it is a small business so it s understandable. It was a bit of a wait since there was really only one server taking care of everyone, I recommend going when they re not too busy. Staff was very accommodating, I was given the wrong order and they immediately took it back to the kitchen to be fixed. Had the Panang Curry it was delicious, pretty big portions too! Atmosphere is really nice, they have two tvs there as well so that you can enjoy food and a show. Had a great time tonight thanks for serving us Thai Ocha definitely will be back for more! Also parking can get a little crazy when it s busy it s a small lot, drive safe when you turn in at rush hour.

Natalie and incorrect orders As a long term customer, I haven t had any issues until I met Natalie. I ve spent too much money on incorrect orders to continue giving them my business, and Natalie is the problem. You can explain your experience and plead for her to communicate to the cooks the same order that you communicate to her, but you will only receive her misplaced frustration and disrespect. Ambience is superb so warm and cozy. As soon as you enter there is a positive vibe. They serve quality and fresh food. The portion sizes are big so be careful while ordering. Tom kha soup is delicious! Chicken sesame with rice is also good (photo). Sticky rice with egg custard is also good. They have pleasant staff but the service is slow. I would definitely come again!

They were very rude and I spent very much money for a birthday that was special and they gave me the wrong order and I specifically said to have meat like shrimp and chicken and when I got home it did not have any in it . Fresh rolls where delicious, rice is cooked properly not in a clump like terrible places. Only reason Im personally giving 4 stars and not 5 is purely based if my opinion of the curry. I have the curry at every Thai restaurant I goto for base line. The flavor is good here however its more watery than I expected. Coconut milks is a but thicker than this was. That being said everything tasted great and I would eat here again.

We went here a couple of months ago and had a really good experience at Thai Ocha. The food was really good, we had quite a few orders of vegan curries, and the curries were delicious. Fast forward a few months, we went there again this weekend because we just loved the vegan curries so much when we were here the last time. It seemed as if the staff has been completely changed from last time and the chefs might have changed too since the food we ordered tasted a lot different from last time. We ordered vegan curries and to our surprise they told us that they couldn t make curries vegan. We went here only to have the curries since they were so good the last time we were here; so we had to reorder and we then ordered some of the most basic thai dishes like vegan basil fried rice and vegan drunken noodles. When we received our food, the vegan basil friend rice had egg in it so we told the server and they apologized for it and willingly replaced it and told us that the owner will prepare our food now. We were really excited hearing that and we finally had the corrected dishes in some time. To our surprise, the basil fried rice that we ate here was not at all good. It had no fragrance of basil and no seasoning at all. We had to ask for salt and some sauces to add some flavors to it. We ordered 2 basil fried rices and both were just the same- tasteless. Never had this kind of a basil friend rice anywhere else. Coming to the order of drunken noodles, that was extremely sweet. The flavors were not at all balanced. We mentioned this to the server and they then provided us a discount on our bill to compensate for our unsatisfactory visit. But I am really skeptical that we would be visiting this place again. Our first visit here was definitely 5 stars but our most recent visit was 2 stars, I don t think they now have the expertise with vegan orders.

I came into this restaurant to pick up a doordash order. It was decently busy and the whole building smelled delicious. There was pretty decent sized rush going on with the phone ringing every few minutes. As I was waiting for my order I noticed Olive working very hard. Super charming front of house staff that was taking tables and rearranging for larger parties, answering the phone and taking Togo orders, bringing out a tray of wine glasses for a different table, checking on me (the door dash person) and going in and out of the kitchen to check the status on a Togo orders a patron made. Give her another dollar if you can, hold on to an employee like that. She was running 70 percent of the front of house with a smile and super charming demeanor. Very authentic Thai cuisine. The chicken satay was perfect. The panang curry is a bowl of spicy happiness with plenty of ingredients. The Tom Kha soup was a pleasant surprise. I had never had it before, but it has a spicy, creamy texture that works great. We will be back soon.

Everyone is so sweet. The customer service is on point. I was needed help picking out something to order and did not have access to a menu while I was driving. The young lady who helped me order was amazing with the choices. Everything is always so fresh and satisfying. Please support this woman owned business, you won t be disappointed!

Lived in Denton my entire life and am just now trying this place out. Not top shabby. Friendly staff. Good food. Be careful of the spices though, theyll creep up on you. Food

Horrible!!!! Got the crabmeat and rice and there were soooooo many shells that I broke a tooth!!! My wife got the seafood and rice. It tasted like a boat ramp!!! Worst ToGo food ever. I love and support local... but this place SUCKED!!!!
