--- I recently had the pleasure of being served by Lindsey at the Chilis near my home, and I must say she is nothing short of amazing. Lindsey embodies professionalism, warmth, and efficiency in her role as both a bartender and server. Her attentiveness to detail is unparalleled. Despite the challenging environment, she ensured that every guest felt welcomed and valued. She handled the bustling bar with incredible grace, quickly fulfilling drink orders while making delightful conversation. Her knowledge of the menu and drink recommendations enhanced our dining experience, and she crafted some of the best drinks weve had in a long time. What particularly stood out was an incident where my card was misplaced for a day. Lindseys response was prompt and sincere. She personally took time to address the mishap, offering heartfelt apologies and ensuring it was swiftly resolved. Her genuine concern for the situation and follow-up communication reflected her dedication to providing top-notch customer service. I almost never write reviews- and for the record, this is probably my first positive review Ive ever written. My deepest thanks and appreciation goes out to the entire crew (FOH and BOH) and manager(s?) at this location (particularly on Friday night, 8/31/24)~9 p.m. I got a to-go order (3 for me) at around 8:50, and although the time estimate for the food to be ready was 9:20 at the earliest, the food was ready at around 9:05- even before I arrived to the restaurant. I worked in food for a couple years, so I understand that Friday night is one of the busiest times for any food establishment. Regardless of them being swamped, the quality of the service and food were still amazing. Just as a note, I got a 3 for me (old timer, fries, strawberry lemonade, chips/salsa, and baked potato soup). Some positive things I immediately noticed when I opened up my togo order when I got home were: The entire order was given to me in the cardboard box instead of the usual plastic container (which I like). The fries AND chips were fantastic, crispy, and oil tasted fresh. The burger was clean(very pretty/well made), juicy, and wrapped in paper. The salsa tasted better(which I dont understand why, but it did). Soup had a better consistency. The individual I spoke to even offered to remake the drink I had because I wanted no ice (even though they were busy). So thanks again to everyone this Friday night, yall deserve alot of recognition from the person above the GM. Would recommend going to this location.

I had an amazing experience, thanks to our waitress( cant remember her name) i think its coranea. You can tell she has a passion for her job because nothing was forced. It all came naturally. Even if things got a little busy for her, she made sure shed always check back with us to make sure things were going smoothly with us or if we needed anything. She was very patient, kind and respectful. The food was amazing. The atmosphere I rated a three do too the cleanliness. I feel it could be alot cleaner inside but other than that I recommend this place

The ribs were tasty. I m not big on seasoned fries but they were ok. Portions were generous. They sat us this tiny booth, as you can see it was a little cramped. And I wish they would wait to bring my entree until I finish my salad so it doesn t get cold. Kinda pricey. $53 plus tip.

I want in and was sat in a booth back by the kitchen. I waited 20 minutes for someone to even talk to me. There was four waitresses that worked that section and not one even said hello, how are you or how may I help you. I went up front told the hostess what happened and asked for the manager. He came and I told him what had transpired. Before he could talk the bartender from across the bar spoke in a loud voice saying she thought I was there for an interview. I left, not going back.

Our waiter was fantastic. He served 11 people. All the while we were talking about everything. He was kind and patient. And got everything right. Our electronic bills were all correct. Which is a feat when drink orders were being placed- and re-placed. The food was yummy. I think everyone enjoyed their meal selections. Our Mom s group will go there again. The Chili s on University in Denton ,TX. Thanks Kid-friendliness: We had two kids with us at dinner. Our waiter treated them with respect and kindness. Refilling their lemonaid drinks. And making sure they had everything they needed.

I am never one to leave reviews especially not great ones, but I am pregnant and really just wanted boneless 12 count wings. I received 8 bone-in wings. Update* actually went to the website they sent me. You know what you get? A $15 coupon to go back to their terrible store. My order for the steak alone was $23. Just avoid Chilis from now on. If you want to set without ketchup utensils or steak sauce and watch your bartender, I have a fun conversation with another employee. Its definitely the place to go. But if you want customer service yeah dont come here. Ill include the $15 coupon for anyone else that wants it. I find it insulting. I got my food but I didnt get utensils. I didnt get ketchup. I asked for steak sauce. No one ever came back. Never got a refill on my drinks. I got what I got because I went to Chilis.

I ordered 1 meal for Valentines day to share that night with my husband of almost 38 years. I had asked for fast priority for my order at 8pm so it said it would take no later then 20min. We didnt receive at that time until 25min after the 20min. When the steak meal w/steamed broccoli arrived, I looked and it was black burnt with red blood inside. I asked for medium well. This is not what medium well looks like so I called this Chilis location then told the manager and asked for a new meal to be replaced. She would not do it for us because we had delivery. Why couldnt they do this? It shouldnt matter. I had been to a different location for a few years and NEVER had a problem with Chilis service until I went to this one. This place needs help. If you are wanting good reviews for your business and want to get a good word out there, then do this to get more customers. Customers first, or your business doesnt grow.

Visited on a busy weekday night and everything went smoothly! Our server Cris was very nice and friendly the entire time we were there. Our food came out fast and overall I have no complaints. For a chain, this place has some of the best burgers. I was also scared to try their steak as well but I gave it a chance. It was cooked to perfection with so much flavor. Its crazy to think a chain that doesnt specialize in steak can actually pull off a good steak. Good lunch specials. Good margaritas. Some beers to choose from on tap. I dont know if Im being judged because how I was dressed. I came off a 12-hour shift and just wanted to eat a meal and read my book. I was the only person at the table. The second party in her section. I was kind placing my order and excited about my choice. More people show up and receive their food. I was told by her that she didnt press a button to send my order to the kitchen. So now Im having to wait after other people who just walk in orders are done. So this place is judgemental. If youre not dressed up or alone, you will be treated accordingly. Starting think Denton isnt the city to dine out. Guess because of all the homeless.

We went after the lunch rush and maybe a handful of people so there wasnt a wait time. The hostess sat us quickly but after 5mim I had to go back up to the hostess and asked if we were in a section that had a waitress / waiter, she said she would get someone to wait on us. After about 3min someone finally came. The waitress that came was nice but she asked would you like your food now or wait a few minutes? Why would we wait longer for our food? The food was good but not OMG good. The atmosphere was good but this Chilis could redo their cushions in their booths. After we were done I remembered why I didnt like this location. Part of the problem is I have switched to a carnivore diet. And, there are not a lot of things on the menu that I can eat. They had trouble with several steaks., The best I have found is their ribs. The food I ate there, before the conivore diet deserves four stars. And they do have a very friendly staff.

Well I drove 30 min to have a nice dinner with my family. Great experience for me and my grands for a lunch outing. We had Chilis Queso, kids meals, and I had a lunch special, which was a great deal, and I recommend it. The server was able to accommodate a request for the white cheddar mac n cheese with a suggested switcheroo, and it worked out perfectly for us. I really appreciated that type of service with 2 small children. Always good food and service at Chilis, especially accommodating families with young children. Restaurant would not help when delivery was going to be late, even though I ordered through their website. Food ended up cold and soggy on arrival. Don t get delivery from them, it s a vicious cycle of the restaurant blaming DoorDash and no way to contact DoorDash. They need to figure it out before I ever order from them again.

My daughter likes to go here for daddy daughter time. Over time, many items have been removed from the menu. I was fond of the CFS, but its gone. I just get the burgers usually now. Had the shrimp tacos on my last visit. They were ok. I did like that they put plenty of shrimp on them, unlike Hooters and their 3 miniscule shrimp per taco. Update: We came for my daughters birthday today. Wow! Its really gone downhill. I remember when Chilis was good...10 years ago. These days, the service,food, and pretty much everything else was horrible. Dirty silverware, soggy fries, one tea refill .. that I had to stop someone and ask for. In fact, everyone at the table had to ask for anything we needed. It isnt just this place either. All of the favorite places like olive garden, Chilis, Applebees, etc. are all trash now. Im impressed people still eat at these places. I can get better food and service at McDonalds and I hate that place. Scratch another has been off the list. We wont be back.

My son and I went here for lunch on a Friday. It was busy, but not too busy, that we were seated right away. We ordered the 3 For Me special, where you get a drink, appetizer, and meal for $10.99. We ordered the chips and salsa with 3 signature dips (upgraded for $2.49), house salad (individual portion), and the Old Timer Burgers with fries. You get decent sized portions for the price. The food was hot and our service was great. We will be back!

Fun place for family and the food is always amazing. Love the mango iced tea and the dessert was better than other nicer places. Ample food on the plates too Kid-friendliness: My toddlers love it here and the cookie ice cream skillet never disappoints!
