My review comes after a beleaguering 3 year experience at the hands of capable, yet clearly unprincipled law professionals. Lawyers have a very poor reputation, in general, and sometimes they are absolutely deserving. While I do believe if you presented a high-level case to this group, they would take it seriously and represent you well. Sadly, I made the unfortunate mistake of choosing this firm to represent me for an illegal lien and improper summary judgement. Not a huge case. At first, things went well. With the summary judgement overturned, it was on to the illegal lien. Then, after a lengthy Covid-19 delay which was no fault of theirs, for no good reason at all, it sometimes took MONTHS for my emails to be returned. It became apparent to me that, while busy with other more serious cases, my case took a backseat. Liz, the paralegal, was the real bright spot for this firm and she was a joy to work with. Also, I didnt have a personal issue with any individual attorney, but rather took issue with their inability to end what was, seemingly, a very simple case. The lien was illegally placed on my home and Id like to bet if this lien had been placed on my attorneys home, it wouldnt have taken 3 years to have it dismissed. Im just saying. Their ability to drag things out to their own benefit was top notch! After my case was FINALLY presented to a judge, nearly 2.5 years later, of course I was awarded with a win. After all, the lien was not legal. From the moment I received an email stating Id won, I was charged an additional $2,200+ to wrap up my case. It took 79 days to finish it and refund the rest of my $5k retainer. Seriously, 79 days?? When asked about the ridiculous delay, there was no reason given. On multiple occasions, only after I lost my patience, did they actually work on my case. Sad. Unprofessional. The real kicker was the fact that my attorney led me to believe that I had a good reason to fight for reimbursement of a large portion of my legal fees. When the opposing counsel flatly rejected our claim, I asked the attorney if he would take the case, moving forward, on a contingency basis. He declined. Shocking!! So, as long as I paid him to go after legal fees, hed take my money, otherwise....no. In all, I paid over $12k for a simple case. In retrospect, I could have simply negotiated with the contractor for less. He made an offer to me to settle for $9k. I refused simply out of principle. Dont walk, RUN, away from this firm if you value prompt responses and principled law professionals representing you.

Called for a consultation. They have it set up as full price $400 for a full hour to even see if they will accept your case. Absolutely absurd. i can see the greed already and certainly believe the other negative review here. he probably thought his time was wasted on the day long case because he could have made more on his hourly rate. Avoid this place for your own good

Not impressed with price or performance. I attended a mediation today and spent all day 9- (close to)5 to try and resolve a contract dispute. Not the firms fault that we couldn t come to resolve but the treatment during mediation was bazaar in my opinion. Mediator, Alagood seemed irritated during session and cursed way too much for my liking. It just seemed unprofessional. That, coupled with the fact that he made comments of waste of my time several times during meditation seems insulting, Especially since I paid $1200 (day rate) and I was one of 3 participants. If I was making that kind of money, I could refrain from vulgarities and certainly wouldn t imply that my time was being wasted. It was really insulting. I am not an overly religious man but throwing out Godd*^%mn was as offputting as anything I have dealt with in a while. Especially in the professional realm. Sorry I wasted this firms time with my case. I won t ever consider their services again. Don t want to be subjected to this kind of nastiness AND pay top dollar. Still pretty disturbed by what took place. Didn t expect all of this from a small town group. Sad because they seem to have good reviews. Don t know how that is possible. My opinion......
