I order from here every week and love it everytime. The mushroom and Swiss is a must try and the loaded fries and slap fries are amazing. This place is 1000 times better than any other burger place with the food being delivered literally steaming everytime. They are the place to order. Both the mushroom and Swiss and the classic are amazing but I much prefer the mushroom and Swiss. Slap fries IMO are just a step above the loaded fries. They sometimes mess up the order through door dash, I.E. mustard when we asked for it to be removed, but not nothing the scape of a knife can t fix. I d say 1 out of every 15-20 times we order it might have something wrong but not anything to cry over. As I ve said I order from here every Saturday and the quality only improves it feels like. The burger buns are fluffy and light. The burger patties are Smash burger style. And they don t hold back on toppings. Definitely a must try place. Also thanks for the slap burger magnets with my order! Also to the 1 stars not understanding that think the patty being flat is wrong, it s a smash burger James R.

The only reason for the star is the fries which were great . There were three and we a had a burger which we all agreed sucked . We heard that they have good milkshakes which they dont, thin as milk , and no fruit so how can they be good . First and last trip here

The windows need serious cleaning! I ALMOST did not eat here! However I really haven t run into any bad restaurants in Dentin as of yet. So i decided on just a burger, it wasn t busy i was hungry and wanted a good burger. Instead of slap burger bar lets call it THIN burger bar! Or slap you in the face with a high price for a paper thin burger I was in SHOCK Mc donalds has thicker burgers than this! The price for these flat cakes is highway robbery! Shame on you whoever the owner is I actually wanted to leave it and get a refund but i was so disappointed i just wanted to get out of this place! Ohhh well their loss and my gain! NEVER AGAIN!!!

The burgers and fries here are really dang good. Ive been going back every few days to try a different one. They are all really, really good. Its a flat smash style patty, so I get the double. Ive had good service and a quick turn around everytime Ive been. Some people could probably share. Its a good-sized burger. The sweet potato fries are waffle style. They have a crunch to them. Not overly cooked, and not mushy in the middle, just right for my preference.

Burgers are really yummy, just pretty pricey for the small amount of meat you get. if you want a decent burger plus fries and a drink, be ready to spend around/over 20 bucks. I strongly recommend the bacon cheese fries!!!! so yummy. service is always incredibly friendly.

This was just ok. My husband and I were excited to try it, but felt it was just, eh. Nothing bad, but nothing great either. I dont plan on going back again. Parking is limited. The salted pretzel shake I got was the best part of the meal. Also worth mentioning, you order at the register then have to go pick up your order from the cooks window. Thats all fine I guess, but then they ask for a tip at both spots! For what exactly?

Their only saving grace are their shakes and fries. So if that s all you want then this is the place to go. If you want a burger go somewhere else because this place isn t the right choice and especially for that price. I ve had paper thicker than the patty they put on their burgers. It s as if they get a normal beef patty cut it in half and pound it before putting it on the grill look at the picture. How do you as a customer think that is suitable for a burger? The lettuce was thicker than that. Workers took my order and made the food so that s a 5 star for me.

i just placed an order on doordash and called to change the toppings since you can t do it in app and whoever is working right now 3/16 at 6:30 kept decking every single call i made. whoever that was doesn t deserve a job in customer service since they do nothing. horrible addition to the company this is the first time i ve ever had a complaint. whoever it is should be trained on how to do the job or be fired it s not hard to answer the phone especially when your a business

My wife and I wanted to try someplace different for hamburgers. She googled local places with good hamburgers. She found Slap Burger Bar. Im so glad she did. With the name, I was expecting more of a true bar with table service. However, this place was a walk-up to the counter and place your order. They did have beer on tap. Regardless of my original expectations, I was not disappointed. We shared the mushroom Swiss burger and crinkle fries. One of the best burgers Ive had. The crinkle fries were amazing. The servings were very generous. We definitely will return. Parking: On a one-way street with plenty of parking on the street.

the burger was cold and dry. the meat was so flattened and misshapen that you would ve thought they took the patty out back and ran over it with a car and threw it on the grill, like i m not sure how they thought that was okay to serve. the sweet potato waffle fries were way too salty and stale/cold. the music was good, service was eh. definitely won t come back.

I am gluten free and generally dont love gluten free buns but I ordered the Fry Street Crawl on a gluten free bun and devoured the whole thing. It just had the right balance, thin but tasty hamburger patty, fried egg, cheese, good sauce and bun was not dry. Thank you! Only complaint is I probably wouldnt order it with a side of fries next time, they were really hard and not memorable crinkle cut style fries.

Not bad. They are helped by being the only visible burger place right in this area now. Fries are meh, meat patty itself was ok, portions are good. The front server was good, but cook server (the one in back) turned his back and said nothing right as we walked up to get our stuff. After reading all the orders on DoorDash in peoples reviews, I figured that it s best to go and pick up your order because they always get the orders wrong. When checking the order once I got it in a bag, I looked at the burger and there was actually no meat on the bun. It was a mistake that was corrected by management and they were very kind in getting the issue resolved for our next visit. Overall great place to get a good burger and shake. :)

I used to love this restaurant when it first opened. The fries were always crunchy and fresh and the burgers were always cooked perfectly, but today will be my last day eating here. It has gone downhill since new changes with the drink sizes and side sizes. I got a bacon cheeseburger burger that looked like it was just thrown together, with missing condiments and toppings. My fries were barely warm and I barely had any to begin with, because the container they usually are in was less than half way full so I barely had 10 individual fries. I also purchased a sprite but was quickly irritated when given a tiny 20oz drink; when I asked if there were any other sizes the employee claimed they recently changed their sizes and now only have a small 20 oz cup. The sprite was watered down too so I was even more irritated with the fact that I couldn t get the drink I wanted. This is ridiculous, when paying $16 for mediocre burgers. I would save my money!

Edit: So they lied to me when I got there and kept looking at each other saying it was ready? Someone was lied to. Communication is important and the ball was dropped. They literally knew the order I was talking about and then lied when DD called. Their words to me were, We cant find it now so were remaking it. Then when DD called they didnt tell the rep any of that just that they were making it. So more lies. Im just done. Period. Ive eatin here many times and will not be back. As a driver I came to pick up an order that was lost and had to be remade but they proceeded to lie to DD representative and tell them the ticket printer wasnt working but yall were making the order. I had another order waiting and was penalized due to these kids negligence. Your burgers simply are not good enough for you to lie to me and the company I work for. It effects me when you cannot be competent and then to lie is the cherry on top. You lost a customer. Maybe it wouldve been done if the 3 of you werent sitting at the bar talking.

The burgers slapped for sure!!! I had a BYO beyond burger and my fiance had a basic one. I would caution against the banana or the birthday cake shakes, the flavoring is a power that didnt get fully blended in and was not good in that form. However, they replaced that with and Oreo cheesecake shake which was great and so was his smores. Music was also really loud, but its a bar strip so thats not weird for the area. The lemonade and burger slaps, but the customer service did not slap. My friends and I wanted to try a different burger spot, so we decided we should give SlapBurger a go. Great, I have gone here twice now with friends for milkshakes and it is always wonderful! The most recent time I went ahead of time to ask if we were allowed to lite birthday candles for my friends birthday and they happily said we could. They are always very polite and their milkshakes are AMAZING! Parking: There arent a lot of spots in front of the place but I have never struggled to find parking.

I m in Tx visiting, wanted a good - what us boomers call- an old fashioned greasy burger (which is a compliment ).. so I googled- yep, us oldies can do that- was most excited to see sweet potato waffle fries, as I love SP fries but have never seen them in waffle form. Talked my buddies into going to check it out and we had a good burger, I really liked the Slap sauce. BUT, my SP fries needed to come up 30-40 seconds earlier. They were so crispy that the interior of the fries were completely gone, . Overall: good burger but please work on your timing for your SP fries, cooked correctly and I think they would be delicious, Maybe, when I return in a few months, I ll try y all again. The name is accurate: these burgers SLAP. This may be my new favourite place to grab a burger on this side of Denton. The burger is rather large for the price point, so no complaints there. My only issue was that the fries were a little too salty for my taste even though I like my fries salty. They weren t overpowering, though, so it s not a big deal to me. Never had a bad experience here until last night.. Normally the employees are nice and welcoming but for some strange reason the chick with red hair working the register (didnt get her name, but she was a skinny white girl with bright red hair) displayed what I would not assume to be what represents Slap Burger.. First, upon entry no hello, no acknowledgement no nothing.. I spoke and stated that I was picking up for UberEATS and began to tell her the two names on the order.. She walked off like I wasnt even talking to her, I was like damn but ok cool.. She went grabbed the food and a milkshake, and came back to not only ignore my hand trying to grab the bags from her but she also threw the customers food on the counter.. I felt soooooo disrespected and immediately thought why the hell would she do that or does she know me or something..?? Attempted to order through doordash pick up. Had tried location before and the burgers were great. However when I attempted to go pick up the order I was told my order was already made and picked up. I explained that I had just made it in town to pick up the order and I couldn t have picked it up as I had just arrived; mentioned how the app demonstrated still in progress and not picked up or completed. A girl under the counter on her phone popped up and I was told since their system said completed nothing could be done for me and they wouldn t be doing anything about it. Had to call doordash to resolve and look for a different location to eat. Maybe it s a nice location to visit and eat, would never recommend making delivery or pickup orders with them.

Update: Food is good so I keep ordering. Havent had many issues for a while which is nice. Dine-in takes a while but at least the food is hot and fresh. Wish they made it possible to customize the pre-built burgers on doordash, also wish they added lettuce as an option for BYO. Overall I enjoy the burgers :) Original: Ordered from there four times. Only once did my complete order get sent to me. Three times in a row I had to receive a refund for things that werent delivered, including the burger not being the right size which happened just now. When I ask the delivery guys they say they werent given anything else. Incredibly disappointing since the food is good. Dont recommend any kind of online ordering from them.

9.5/10 no questions asked. We split a double bacon cheeseburger and nearly everything about it was fantastic, the bacon was crispy, plenty of meat in the patty, and the bun was great too. The fries here are superb, they arent floppy or soggy, but crisp on the out, and soft on the in. Lastly, the pricing is pretty fantastic. Between two people splitting a burger (which had us both full), we spent a total of $14. For the amount of food you actually get, it is well worth the money. We will definitely be coming back.

Best burger, shake and fries on Campus with awesome service from the staff to boot. My one gripe is the way shakes are served: Styrofoam cups with plastic straws that are too thin to use until it s mostly melted. Everything else looked well thought out and at least had the veneer of environmental sustainability (like napkins proudly advertising that they re recycled), but all that waste made me wish I hadn t ordered my drink at all.

Saw they had a beyond patty option and had to try it. It was pretty good! We had both The Slap option with everything on it (replacing the regular beef with beyond) and then a plain beyond burger. The customer service was excellent, and the person at the bar helped explain the menu. This is a cool place and I can t wait to see it grow. I hope they continue to add some more plant based options in the future.

Very slow. Not very busy when I was there but took almost 30 minute s to get my sandwich and fries. On top of that they prepared it to go when I told them dine in. I must say that the food was good after it finally was ready.

We visited UNT for an art exhibit with our friends and they mentioned there was a new burger spot so why not. Amazing burger, fantastic vanilla shake that felt light but still awesome I think the best crinkle cut fries I ve had in a long time, if not ever. Cool staff and they have spicy ketchup which is also a plus. Posting some (sorry for quality) pics for future folks since we noticed they don t have any yet. We ll definitely be coming back!!

Great to see some of the vacant spots on fry opening back up into new restaurants. They make an excellent burger, and are perfectly situated for grabbing a bite to eat while waiting for your Uber after a night out.
