Do not trust this attorney (1st mistake I made, especially knowing better). I had to call the office and remind/advise of the court date for the ticket I received and hired Rudy to handle. He then rescheduled the hearing extending the case from May to July. I had a number of people tell me the evidence against me was inconclusive. I could have represented myself and had a better outcome than what I payed this attorney and would saved a pretty penny. This was a minor traffic violation that should have never been an issue and I thought by hiring an attorney that would be proven, with a GOOD attorney that may have still been the case BUT this attorney is not that attorney. I literally could have gone to the court date myself and would have had a better outcome on my own. Not all lawyers are snakes BUT this one is definitely one of the snakes they tell you to look out for in life.

Please see attached termination letter for the horrible case handling from Rudy Vrba and Lindsey Pruitt. To Whom it May Concern I am writing this letter to terminate any client lawyer relationship, that remains, due to malpractice and neglect of my case. Throughout the last year there has been a lack of communication on VRBA law firm s part with questions left unanswered, along with many mistakes that resulted in a significant financial and emotional loss to myself. Divorce paperwork was not filed for an entire month after contracting your firm, resulting in stolen property and finances hidden by the other party TRO was filed improperly and therefore resulted in a denial; there was no subsequent attempt to file a protective order after that and no regard for my safety. When I brought up the lack of a protective order during our meeting Rudy stated a little bit of pushing was not enough evidence of abuse, despite photo documentation. I was charged over $360 to not have a TRO No discovery or contempt of court was filed despite numerous requests on my part ultimately resulted in a significant loss to myself and my assets. During the mediation Lindsey was not prepared and did not have enough knowledge of the assets or my case to advise me properly. Numerous times I was reminded that VRBA would be happy to keep taking my money but that I should settle to avoid court. As I was requesting to go to court. VRBA stated that it was required by law to do mediation before we could go to court and that spousal support would not be awarded to me in the state of Texas; neither of which is true. I was told that if I went to court the Judge (due to retirement) would not want to hear my case and getting in the weeds and all the details of such; so I would most likely lose. Fees were assessed at a high level attorney rate for the entirety of the billing (except when I contested during our meeting), billing for services not actually provided (the spreadsheet) and billing for calls concerning billing. Due to the mishandling of my case and the evidence of such, I will be filing with the state bar to investigate, and I will be pursuing recouping of the charges your law firm assessed to this case. After calling the biggers names in the business I was told that basically I was doomed and there were no gauruntees of anything time and time again. Mr. Vrba didnt make any promises either but offered several potential paths to success instead of focusing on the worse possible outcome. Money well spent, really appreciate the honesty and knowledge you brought to the table and 100% came out better than hiring one of the other guys. I would encourage everyone to avoid the top google searches because they basically have interns handle their cases from my understanding meanwhile you get the man himself here. Thanks again.

He is the kind of person you want in your contacts. He is smart and ethical. When you need legal advice, he will give it to you straight. He has great follow through. Ive had friends that hired lawyers and put down a retainer only to realize the person they hired isnt worth their weight in salt. They dont call them back and dont show up for important court dates. I didnt even know that was possible for a lawyer. If you want to know that your hard earned money is going to give you the best council it can buy, call Mr Vrba for your defence attorney needs.

I was desperate and needed a traffic lawyer asap, if you knew my record youd know I procrastinate and have a heavy foot... A friend of mine recommended him a few years ago and I just didnt have time to think about it, I hired him never even meeting him face to face.. I paid my small fee over the phone and hoped for the best.. a few weeks later I was astounded by what he was able to do with my tickets and the charges I anticipated paying for them was no where close to what I paid... this man is VERY good at what he does.. I will never use another lawyer again in my life and now my whole family uses him. I am named a habitual violator when you pull my record and because of the amount of traffic violations I am blessed to still have a drivers license... and although I have pretty much learned my lesson, stuff still happens and each time I shoot him a text and he responds immediately, if ever I went to jail he would be there in a heart beat no matter the time of day or night to bail me out... I havent had to attend a court date and still have a drivers license. My family and I will never use anyone else I dont care how great someone says they are, Mr. Vrba has proven that he truly does his research and whatever he can possibly do to get the fines lowered and points off my record.... he is magic! try him and you wont regret it.
