If you are looking for a fun time in Denton, you have found your place. We had an absolute blast! The music was great, the staff is super friendly and helpful, the restrooms are clean and it s over all just a fun atmosphere. We ordered food and drinks to-go from Fuzzy s (across the street) and feasted while we competed in some cut throat games. We ll be back!

John at Ironwood is amazing. I have been there a few times now, and he is always super helpful with teaching the new people how to throw the axe and get the most out of their experience there. I have been to other axe throwing places, but had to figure out how to throw them on my own. I highly recommend this place to all skill levels of axe throwers

I needed a new spot that I could take my friends where we could all hang out and have a great time. After looking I found Ironwood Axe Throwing for a great casual boys night and ever since then we have made it a tradition to bring our own beers and enjoy axe throwing around once a month or so. We even bring food occasionally. Would recommend as a fun group activity.

My boyfriend and I went to Ironwood Axe Throwing tonight, it s lovely and incredibly fun. Bryan was wonderful and ensured that we had a great time throwing axes (safely). We brought in some wine and will be going back soon in order to have more fun. It s great stress relief and a mild workout all in one, the setup is very safe as well. You can bring in whatever food or drink you like and it s super cost effective. Would highly recommend for a date night, boys night or for a family with older kids!

This is a great place for a date night, bachelors party, corporate celebration. I am 70 years old and I have a lot of fun every time I go there. Jon & Brian are the best. Very patient, excellent training. It s BYOB, except no hard alcohol. Plenty of good restaurants close by and you can bring your food and eat while you re throwing. I highly recommend this place for any age, any group. I ll definitely be back

Went this week as a team building event with team members from throughout the country. Owners Brian and Jon were fantastic. They were patient teachers for those that needed and helpful with tips and challenges for those further along. They kept tabs and offered help as needed as well as game suggestions and ideas to constantly keep things interesting without being intrusive. Awesome night run by an awesome business.

This is such a nice place. The owner was super friendly and very helpful. It was laid back with no intimidation, and he walked us through the throwing techniques, giving us pointers to help us have fun. We were celebrating a special day and our first time trying axe throwing. Great location and tons of fun! Incredible instruction and additional coaching if you want it. This was much better then my expectations and the 2 hours flew by. There s different games you can play which is really fun. We will be back. It was so much fun. Thank You!

The best place I have every axe thrown ever hands down. The owner was not only helpful, kind, and considerate, but also gave us a number of games to play and helped us with our technique! The vibe of the location is great and will definitely make the 45 minute drive again!! 10/10 experience!

It was really fun throwing axes just not what I expected. I thought the staff could have been more attentive when explaining/teaching games and have a better selection of axes. But I am comparing this facility to a larger one I used to go to in Richardson. It was just different

Stopped in on a whim with friends and Brooke had us throwing and sticking in no time. Brooke took the time to make sure we knew the basics! Made it so much better of an experience than the first time I tried it at another place! Had a great time and would certainly go again.

Got there soon after opening, so had the place to ourselves. The owner was extremely helpful showing and explaining how to throw the axe. Another employee explained games to us to play. Very fun!

Oh goodness, we had fun. Learning to throw an axe well takes practice and everyone is awful at it the first few times until they get the feel for it and then you can play games. It is BYOB/Food, but there are lots of places around that you can go to for that before or after. This place makes for a very fun date if you are looking for something a little different to go do. The safety stuff is setup similarly to a gun range. There are bays that you book that have wooden targets ready to chop with chain link fencing and then actual walls closer to the target between each one. Everyone stays behind the lines (and out of range) while others are throwing and laughs at how silly it gets. The owners run the shop and are very pleasant to talk to. They move about watching people try and offer tips and suggestions for things to try.

Had a fantastic time here. We brought in our own food and some drinks and learned the awesome art of ax throwing. The owner was very nice, helped us out, and checked in on us multiple times. We will be back to get our ax throwing on!
